About

Heart formed in Seattle, Washington in 1973 and have rocked on through the years under the sibling core of Ann and Nancy Wilson. The group has released 16 studio albums, hitting the Top 10 seven times and topping the Billboard 200 with 1985’s Heart. The band have sold nearly 35 million albums worldwide. Early rock staples such as “Crazy on You,” "Barracuda” and “Magic Man” gave way to greater mainstream success in the ’80s with the group’s first Hot 100 chart-toppers, "These Dreams" in 1986 and "Alone” in 1987. Despite developing their own solo careers after their first hiatus in 1995, the Wilson sisters have reunited as Heart several times. In 2013, Heart was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band have received four career Grammy nominations and received The Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023.

  • In My Heart Forever

    by Python46 on 2011-02-28Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Spectacular Entrance By Ann between the Keyboards and Drums. the lighting effect was a show in itself. Nancy's energy was not wavering at all through the whole show. Her Kicks are spectacular. The Veteran Rock Queens were surrounded by an amazing group of musicians. Another show I needed to see, had to see. All the amazing reviews could not describe the true feelings I experienced. I took my 21 year old musician /daughter, her college major in music is Guitar. She was in awe at how the band performed, You have a new generation of fans who love you. Heart has such a long list of favorites, I am happy I heard all mine. "Barracuda" Had me "burning it to the wick', These Dreams, Magic man, Songs from Their new album, Red Velvet Car, were like old 70's classics already. Music that will truly stand the test of time. Many agreed "Red Velvet Car" is 70's revisited. It's Awsome. 2 encores really showed they Loved us Fans. Thanks for coming to Vancouver.

  • Finer with age

by neverAcougar on 2011-02-28Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Anne and Nancy Wilson have gotten even better with age. Didn't think it got better than "best" but this concert shot that theory down. They did 2 tunes off their new album, which i'd never heard before. The songs were so interesting, i down;oaded the album after the concert. Fantastic. These sisters have worked their way well in to the Canadian hearts that adore them. Gotta love these girls. Bravo.

  • HEART - As good as ever...

by Canuckyhunk on 2011-02-28Interior Savings Centre - KamloopsRating: 5 out of 5

Ann Wilson may well be the best female rock singer ever - she STILL hits the notes - she is amazing... and Nancy may be the best female rock guitarist... If you want a show where the music sounds astoundingly as good as the recordings, HEART is the place to go... I was a little disappointed in the first encore, three songs I didnt know - other than that, superb...

  • by pjtwins on 2011-02-28Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

They still got it!!!! The Queens of Rock 'n Roll absolutely. Don't know any female artist that can belt out Rock tunes like Ann Wilson.

  • Heart ends their Canadian tour in Vancouver

by lotuslandlover on 2011-02-28Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

I took my husband to the concert as an anniversary gift and we were not disappointed with the classic tunes Heart played for us. Ann Wilson's voice is still in top shape and we greatly enjoyed her talking about her time in Vancouver back in the 1970s. Nancy, too, was a delight on guitar. Is there anything better than the guitar opening for "Crazy On You"? We had mixed feelings about the new material. None of the new songs really stood out for us, unfortunately.

These ladies were fantastic. They can still Rock!!!!

  • That Ann Wilson is really still delivering

by Stavangergutten on 2011-02-28Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

Even if I am a guy from Norway, I have followed Heart since 1975. Bought Dreamboat Annie and really got hooked on them at once. I did have some expectations, even if I was unsure as to what I would get - with a 60 year old rock singer. My wife had no expectations, even though she had listened to Alone several times - from my CD player. We were very impressed over the show, the tempo, the strong voices (still) and the rest of the band. For the extras, I told my wife in advance that I expected to hear Dreamboat Annie. When Ann sung the two first, unknown to me, I was disappointed. But of course, she did not let me down.

  • Heart was the best!

by bratty on 2011-02-28Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Seeing Heart in the QE was the best. A smaller venue is where we should be seeing our entertainment. The large, impersonal, big screen, binoculared vision is not the way to be entertained. For that I am most grateful. Continuous music that never let us down with unforgettable moments kept us in awe of these ladies and their band members. I am so glad I went. I went to see a show, not a spectacle. And I got what I wanted.

  • Heart classics were great

by kavicrocks on 2011-02-28Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

The classic Heart hits were great and the new tunes were well played. Ann rocked Crazy on You and Barracuda, and Nancy was really good on These Dreams. I also enjoyed the Zep covers in the first encore. Dog and Butterfly was well done, and the final song Dreamboat Annie was a fitting close to the show. Overall a very good show.

  • HEART - Fantastic!

by Mullina on 2011-02-28Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I have been a fan of Heart's since the beginning and they haven't lost any of their ability to deliver the best performance. Anne can still hit all those high notes and blast you right out of your seat.

  • Heart rocked Vancouver!

by NightSweats on 2011-02-28Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I hope to hell that I'm that cool when I'm 60! I'd put these girls up against any young rocker, any day!
