About

Heart formed in Seattle, Washington in 1973 and have rocked on through the years under the sibling core of Ann and Nancy Wilson. The group has released 16 studio albums, hitting the Top 10 seven times and topping the Billboard 200 with 1985’s Heart. The band have sold nearly 35 million albums worldwide. Early rock staples such as “Crazy on You,” "Barracuda” and “Magic Man” gave way to greater mainstream success in the ’80s with the group’s first Hot 100 chart-toppers, "These Dreams" in 1986 and "Alone” in 1987. Despite developing their own solo careers after their first hiatus in 1995, the Wilson sisters have reunited as Heart several times. In 2013, Heart was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band have received four career Grammy nominations and received The Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023.

  • Heart still has heart!

by Tuyabear on 2011-02-28Prince George CN Centre - Prince GeorgeRating: 5 out of 5

A great mix of new and old songs, delivered by Anne's one of a kind voice. Liked all the songs, even the two Zeppelin songs during the encore. Good to hear the songs again.

  • Heart Totally Amazing

    by Barbiegirl59 on 2011-02-28Interior Savings Centre - KamloopsRating: 5 out of 5

Heart was a concert I will never forget!!!! After all these Years Ann Wilson's voice is still amazing. If you have never seen Heart in concert and get the opportunity to go see them ...go see them you won't regret it. There are a lot of bands out there that when you hear them live they don't sound very good they seem to need the help of proffesional dubbing but not Heart they sound amazing live.

  • Heart was amazing!

    by Cid1 on 2011-02-28Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

They sounded amazing, and the venue was perfect! They truly seemed to appreciate the feedback frim the audience. As it was the last night of the tour, they gave it their all and the audience appreciated it. The entire band sounded great, but Anne and Nancy haven't lost. Great mix of old and new songs. Truly enjoyed ourselves!

  • Back to the Heart of Vancouver - Excellent!

    by Dick51 on 2011-02-28Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

The vocals by Ann were incredible! The guitar work by Nancy was awesome. As for their band, where did they get them? A first rate group of musicians and an outstanding performance ~ well worth the money spent! One of the best retro bands around that is no longer retro with their new "Velvet" album. Unlike other 70's bands, this group continues to rock, write and roll with the times!

  • Great show...what a voice!!!!

by Scaper on 2011-02-28Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Heart didn't miss a beat! Ann and Nancy sounded exactly like they did when i saw them as a teenager in Vancouver in the late '70s. Met all expectations!!!

  • Heart was Amazing!!

The performance was spectacular! They had great crowd interaction and the show was awesome, only wish it could have gone on longer! Only complaint is some of the staff at the Queen E need to relax and realize that people are going to follow example and want to stand and have fun like any concert, ie don't freak on someone in the aisle when half the theatre is in the aisle. Its a concert people want to sing, take pictures, and stand... So relax, or maybe spend your time stopping the mosh pit at the front of the stage?

  • I *heart* Heart!

by DarlyneDR on 2011-02-28Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

To watch them live, after all my childhood of listening to their music on the radio and on their CDs, was absolutely stunning. Ann Wilson has a voice like none other, with a range that just goes on forever in full force. And Nancy Wilson is masterful with her guitar and a delight to watch jumping around on stage. These ladies may be in their 50's now, but they rock, and rock better than their contemporaries half their age-- and NO BLOODY AUTOTUNE OR LIP-SYNCHING! Bravo Heart, please come back.

  • Once again Heart Rocked the Roof Off

by TheComicCritic on 2011-02-28Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Purchased 6 tickets and all seats were great. Nancy and Anne Wilson have not lost their stuff and their voices were sensational and the sound was excellent at the Queen E. Extremely enjoyable concert and all that went had a blast (even my 16 year old son!!)

  • Heart was Great

by Patience23 on 2011-02-28Prince George CN Centre - Prince GeorgeRating: 3 out of 5

They rocked the house, loved it! Would definately see them again!

  • How do they do that?

by notblueanymore on 2011-02-28Interior Savings Centre - KamloopsRating: 5 out of 5

Simply Amazing...such a strong voice, I went horse the next day, cant imagine how Nancy Wilson does that night after night...They sound exactly the same as when I seen them in the early '80's ...wonderful time and talented ladies...

  • The Wilson sister's still rock!

by rock101 on 2011-02-28Prince George CN Centre - Prince GeorgeRating: 4 out of 5

They still have the energy and the voices to put on a great rock show.

  • by charlyhorse on 2011-02-28Interior Savings Centre - KamloopsRating: 2 out of 5

They can still rock, after 4 decades! I was disappointed that they didn't play my favorite song, Love Alive :(

  • Still in tune after all these years...

by beeeerock on 2011-02-27Interior Savings Centre - KamloopsRating: 4 out of 5

I had to Google to work out how old these 'girls' are now. By my calculations, they'll be 57 and 61 later this year. They didn't perform like they are that old! Nancy dresses, moves and plays like she's 30 years younger and Ann is more than holding her own too. Voices are still in tune and I don't think they've resorted to Auto Tune to do it! The songs were still true to the original recordings and the audience appreciated that. Only down side was the lighting... those of us in the seats on the edges of the coliseum were forced to look at two very bright lights set up behind the keyboards and drums. They all but obliterated about the middle third of the stage, where Ann was. And I don't mean they were a little annoying - they were bright enough to bring on a snow-blind headache and were aimed at us for 90% of the show!

  • Heart is better than ever!

by poppski on 2011-02-27Interior Savings Centre - KamloopsRating: 5 out of 5

no disappointments here as the band and gals gave it their all. They all looked as though they were having a good time. Amazing voices, high energy-I remember thinking how great it was to see all ages rocking out. Two encores later, the audience was satisfied yet would not have needed any convincing to continue the enjoyment.

  • just like it was in the day

    by lsx454 on 2011-02-27Interior Savings Centre - KamloopsRating: 4 out of 5

They were fantastic,,,,sounded just as they were. Went in with a feeling of older people trying to sing younger songs and was blown away.

  • Heart are still phenomenal!!!!!

by CDNGRL on 2011-02-27Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

These women are still as good if not better than 20 years ago. Both Ann and Nancy have voices that deserve to be heard, and still hit notes that are unbelieveable. Nancy is by far the BEST female guitar player in the world!!!!!! This show was better than I ever hoped. AWESOME!!!!

  • The Gals Can Still Sing!!!

by kika on 2011-02-27Interior Savings Centre - KamloopsRating: 5 out of 5

I was impressed at how great the show was, the girls can still sing....Ann can still belt it out. Loved it!!!!!

  • Not again

by Anonymous on 2011-02-27Prince George CN Centre - Prince GeorgeRating: 3 out of 5

The sound of the lead guitarist was amazing, but so loud we couldn't hear Ann sing, and the only time we heard Nancy play her guitar was when she had her solo. We were in row 3 and will never sit any where but behind row 10 again. We've sat in row 10 before and thoroughly enjoyed the concert we were at. So when I was able to get tickets in row 3, I thought, wow, this will be great, well it was so very disappointing. We had friends in row 10 and they said the sound was unbelievable! So I'm sure Ann and Nancy sounded great, and we've listened to Heart for 30 years, and loved their music, but we didn't hear it.

  • by bjmusic on 2011-02-27Interior Savings Centre - KamloopsRating: 4 out of 5

Heart show was good they played new songs and old classics they had the crowd rocking. Ann Wilson still has the amazing voice of angels. Nancy was great as ever on the guitar, the only thing that I found was the concert was short. Was a fan in the 70s and still a fan. There sound was good not too loud. Great light show with images on the back screen.

  • Ann and Nancy still have it!

by Totofan on 2011-02-27Interior Savings Centre - KamloopsRating: 4 out of 5

Fabulous show, the ladies still rock out and sound like they did back in the late 70s - which is a good thing! Vocals could have been turned up a little but maybe the mix was better away from the front row... My only 'complaint' was the show was too short, but I almost always say that (the exception would be a 3 hour RUSH concert). A few more tunes would have rounded it off perfectly, but they still had time to squeeze in some Zeppelin near the end.
