About

Heart formed in Seattle, Washington in 1973 and have rocked on through the years under the sibling core of Ann and Nancy Wilson. The group has released 16 studio albums, hitting the Top 10 seven times and topping the Billboard 200 with 1985’s Heart. The band have sold nearly 35 million albums worldwide. Early rock staples such as “Crazy on You,” "Barracuda” and “Magic Man” gave way to greater mainstream success in the ’80s with the group’s first Hot 100 chart-toppers, "These Dreams" in 1986 and "Alone” in 1987. Despite developing their own solo careers after their first hiatus in 1995, the Wilson sisters have reunited as Heart several times. In 2013, Heart was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band have received four career Grammy nominations and received The Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023.

  • Heart - Absolutely Great but do less Zeppelin

by Twinkle on 2009-07-12The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorRating: 4 out of 5

I've been a Heart Fan since the '70's but had never had the pleasure to see them on stage before. My husband had seen them twice over the years and recently on t.v. when they broadcast a recent concert. We had the Heart CD playing in the car on the way to the concert and I was singing my 'Heart' out. During the concert Anne Wilson's voice was absolutely amazing. Nancy on guitar was unbelievable. However, I was a bit disappointed that I didn't hear all their hits because they decided to play Tom Petty and a LOT of Led Zeppelin. Don't get me wrong - Anne was fabulous on vocals when she sang the Zeppelin songs. However, I wanted to hear more of their songs line Heart less and Dreamboat Annie.

  • Heart was exactly what I expected very good!

The Wilson sisters were at their best old and new songs were performed well and sounded great?

  • Not satisfied...

    by freaky80 on 2009-07-11Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 3 out of 5

The venue is really good, and the concert was enjoyable but not really what we expected. It was too short for a great group like Heart and to many Zeppelin's songs when they have so many great songs to play that they didn't . I expected more than 2 hours and it was barely 1 hour. A little disappointed. I'm not sure if I could comeback for another one.

  • Heart is hot!

by CMAC on 2009-07-11Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 5 out of 5

Still can sing, voice is raspier and stronger, could of been a longer set.

  • Heart short and sweet

by tigresssand on 2009-07-11Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 3 out of 5

A great show, lots of energy, good sound, ok crowd. BIG PROBLEM---WAY TOO SHORT!!! Felt ripped off ---much better at molson ampitheatre last summer. I feel that because it was rama they felt they didnt have to put in that much time. Disappointed to say the least.

  • Great show

by uptownjohnny on 2009-07-11Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 4 out of 5

The band was very tight. Nancy Wilson was on fire. Ann's vocals were top notch. The only disappointment was that the set seemed a bit short.

  • Heart rocks!

Great Concert! Easy parking, Wonderful Venue, Highly recommend it!

  • HEART: this band is timeless!

by Nugget on 2009-07-11Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 5 out of 5

I was among the younger fans that attended this event, but there were people from all ages, genres and styles in the crowd. Just goes to show you that HEART is such a fantastic band that has successfully reached many generations, bridged gaps in musical genres (and hopefully will continue to do so for a long time). My seat was pretty much the farthest from the stage, but I still felt like I was close enough to really enjoy the show. The experience was unforgettable. Ann Wilson's vocals absolutely blew me away, and Nancy's guitar playing was amazing. I believe that these ladies are amazing role models for young women who love music as much as I do. I highly recommend both this band and this venue.

I can't believe Heart has been playing songs since the 70's. They are still fantastic and their voices. Wow!!! I'd go back again to see them.

by Bobjs on 2009-07-11Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 4 out of 5

I thought the concert was great Ann's voice is amazing I would have just liked to have heard more of there own music instead of the covers they did of zepplen

  • Their voices soared and so did my spirits.

by Martti on 2009-07-11The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorRating: 5 out of 5

After all these years I wondered, could they possibly be as powerful and amazing as I remember, but I was not disappointed. Their harmony and powerful voices were as strong and tight as 30 years ago. The drums and guitars were driving and impelling and I was young again.

  • heart was great

by tazzz on 2009-07-11Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 4 out of 5

It was a great concert. The wilson sisters performed very well . I would see them again. I would recommended the concert to all.

  • Heart was Average

by jeannie on 2009-07-11Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 3 out of 5

Could it be when the patrons around me failed to stand up and dance to "Barracuda" that I realized this group was not reaching it's audience? As the evening went on it really felt like Heart was just going through the motions. Hardly any audience/stage banter. Only a late redition with a chello made the evening interesting musically. For this group I would skip the Casino shows and buy the concert DVD of San Francisco end of their last tour. So cut them their pay check and off they go to the next Casino 1.20 hr concert

  • Heart was fabulous

    by steviewonder50 on 2009-07-11Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 5 out of 5

Anne still has some of the best "pipes" in female rock music today. Nancy's guitar is in a class by itself as well. I saw them many years ago on the Dreamboat Annie tour at the CNE in Toronto. They were great then and fabulous now. The keyboard player was cute and made some amazing sound. It was one of the best concerts I've seen in years. The Tom Petty tune that Nancy did was very well done(Better than Petty does it and with more "HEART" in my humble opinion), as well as the somewhat unexpected Zeplin tune. The girls are all still sexy and fun. I would definatly go again should they come up this way again. Thank you Heart for staying with us!

  • heart was pretty good

by dolly on 2009-07-11Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 4 out of 5

I enjoyed the concert, but I was a little disappointed that they left out some of their hits, that I remember hearing on the radio. They could of done them instead of all the cover songs that they did. I found that Ann seemed like she was getting tired quite easily, which is fine, but I think she could of handed some of the singing over to her sister Nancy, I really enjoy her singing just as much as Ann's. It was a good concert though and I would probably go and see them again. My husband thought the concert was quite good as well.

  • Heart still Rocks !

As always, Heart put on an amazing show. It is truly an honour to watch these rockers perform and they never disappoint. It is also amazing to hear them do The Who and Zepplin.

  • Very original

by Scholli on 2009-07-11Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 5 out of 5

I went to the concert with my wife since we both knew songs by the Wilson Sisters(Heart) My wife was a bit disappointed by the loudness of the performance and could not relate to the songs known from the radio. For her it was just too much hard rock. I did like it very much and could relate somewhat more to the performance since I was lead singer in the early to late 70's.
