    very enjoyable!

by CanucksinNYC on 2010-05-11Richard Rodgers Theatre - New York

My wife and I along with our 13 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed this production. This is a little surprising in that we normally all have different tastes when it comes to entertainment. Good storyline, great acting, singing, dancing and music make this a fast-moving show for all ages. Would definately see again.

    In the Heights was terrific!

by Denning on 2010-05-09Richard Rodgers Theatre - New York

I am not a "musicals" fan but I found In the Heights to be very entertaining and memorable. One can easily see why this show won its Tony! My wife says that it was rollicking fun and entertaining. The tickets were a Christmas present for her and she thoroughly enjoyed it.

    a moving piece

by divaleh on 2010-04-17Richard Rodgers Theatre - New York

the only problem was the sound the singers weren't loud enough and the orchestra too loud otherwise it was very moving. sad and thought provoking

    Go see IN THE HEIGHTS

by GBird on 2010-02-16Richard Rodgers Theatre - New York

Our whole family went to In the Heights this weekend. We loved it. The music is energetic and infectious. There were some wonderful comic moments but some really heart-wrenching moments. We laughed, we cried! This is a Broadway show that really delivers it all. And Corbin Bleu was fantastic!

    Soaring In the Heights

by coach54 on 2010-02-01Shea's Performing Arts Center - Buffalo

This is the second time I have seen this production. The Buffalo cast was different but equally talented. The singing was exceptional and inspiring. The dancing was somewhat limited in terms of complexity. The modern rap style was not as effectively matched in the dancing. The story itself offers so much to a variety of audience members. I can't think of a demographic that wouldn't find something they could connect with. I was also pleasantly surprised by the beauty and richness of Shea's. It reminded me that Buffalo was once a thriving Art Deco community.

    hip and fresh

by greenman on 2010-01-28Shea's Performing Arts Center - Buffalo

My little one got hooked on lin manuel miranda from watching "the electric company" and then we searched on the computer and found shockwave and " freestyle love machine" , Lin is so talented without being big headed. I purchased the album of "In the heights" off of itunes, long before seeing the show, and when I saw it was coming to buffalo, I bought tickets right away. The travelling cast of "in the heights" were fantastic and it sounded like the broadway cast, kudos to the cast. It was a birthday surprise for my 6 yr. old, who can sing every song word for word.

    Super Show!

by thousandislander1 on 2010-01-18Richard Rodgers Theatre - New York

We took another couple who has very conservative theatre tastes and they loved it too. The theatre itself was beautiful and the seats excellent with an intriguing stage which set the mood really well. I liked that it was so upbeat for a story about the barrios. We also saw Billy Elliott which was very weak in comparison.

In the Heights was lots of fun!

by MaryBeth on 2010-01-01Richard Rodgers Theatre - New York

A down-to-earth story with lots of energy, street dancing and great singing. It's got lots of heart and many funny moments (although I think you have to be Spanish to get all the jokes!). The set design was impressive, but it didn't change at all; all the action revolves around one street corner. I like how the plot included so many different characters of different ages and represented the whole community. My daughter thought the plot was a little too predictable, but overall everyone thought it was inspirational and definitely worth seeing and experiencing!

    Best Show on Broadway

by zw2l on 2009-11-11Richard Rodgers Theatre - New York

For my money, this is the best show currently playing on Broadway both from an artistic point of view and level of entertainment. The music is incredibly clever and catchy and the cast is great. Its a shame that it is not as popular as shows like Wicked.

    Surprizing great Show

by cyankees on 2009-11-01Richard Rodgers Theatre - New York

At first, I was reluctant to go see that show. I dont enjoy Hip Hop so much so I thought that it would be only that. It's not. there's some Rap but In a Broadway style, some Salsa but In overall It is a BROADWAY show. The songs are great, beautiful, easy to understand (if you are a foreigner youll enjoy this even if you dont quite understand everything) our cast was fantastic and It is for me one of the greatest show on Bradway with Wicked, Jersey Boys or Billy ELliott. Therefore try to no miss it !!!!

In the Heights was truly amazing! It is worth to see! The singing and dancing was very enjoyable and it would be good for the whole family. I am from Toronto and have seasons tickets to theatre I wish In the Heights would come to Toronto because this has been by far one of the best productions I have seen! The cast had so much talent and energy that it was infectious to the audience! Thank you!
