Best concert I have been to in a very long time. Wonderful music - Jan's singing was FANTASTIC and her band was VERY good also. Her concert was FUN too - lots of laughs! I want to see her again!
I was transported last night! This woman is poignant, funny, brave, loving, honest.....I can't think of enough amazing words to describe her. The music was amazing - her band was incredible (Allison - wow!! what talent!!). Ms. Arden's voice was great. Her heart and soul goes into all of her singing. She sang old and new artfully blended together to create and unforgettable evening. Her new music (Free) is powerful and filled with as much passion as her traditional hits. She resonates with women of all ages (and men from what I saw in the audience!) This woman IS music, poetry and life - so glad she is a Canuck!!
As always, Jann was as funny as she is musically talented. She is as consistent a live performer as they come, and she's a tremendous value because she saves you having to go to a comedian AND a musician. She's all in one.
Jann Arden was fabulous as usual. She is such an awesome entertainer as well as a wonderful person. She speaks from a genuine heart. Her new CD is wonderful and I can't wait to see her again.

An evening with Jann Arden is by far the best therapy one could have. I haven't laughed so much and had such a good cry in a long time. It was absolutely the best!
The evening with Jenn Arden was an amazing mix of: - music: new songs, old favourites, even with a Jamaican raggae version), - Jenn's usual candid comments from everyday life - answers to questions from audience - a sing along (to a non-Jenn Arden song) - a great slideshow of the band members (as kids!) - a viist by her dog (that celebrated his birthday that day!)
First time to one of her shows and was so very impressed. Her voice was truly beautiful. The selection was just the mix of new and old. The band was very talented. The volume was just perfect. The sound was rich and full. I really enjoyed the slide show. Jann is an incredible wit.....and would make a great comedian. She is genuine in her thankfulness of her success and fan base. I would very likely attend another show in the future

My girlfriend and I have gone to see Jann the last 8 years she has come to Vancouver,B.C.. We have enjoyed her each and every time. Even the year my mother past away we saw Jann and let me tell you once she started to play "Good Mother" we developed an even closer bond with her. We loved the pictures of her family and band. They could have been any of our families. Looking forward to year 9 Thanks Jann
Jann always makes every audience member feel like she's singing directly to them. From posing for the cameras and doing a "Q&A" session with the audience, to her slide show of photos of the band, family and friends, to her hilarious stories about anything-and-everything, to her unforgettable and perfect voice combining new songs with her classic favourites, this truly was an 'initimate' evening with one of Canada's most amazing entertainers.
The concert was wonderful! Vocals were beautiful, the band was amazing. The fiddle player back up singer Allison (sorry her last name escapes me) blew me away! Shes a perfect fit for Janns voice. My daughter and I enjoyed this show tremendously and can't stop talking about it!
We enjoyed Jann Arden very much! It was my third time seeing her in concert and I love her humour as much as her singing. She performed for 2 1/2 hours without an intermission, we definitely got our moneys worth. We will continue to support her and will be buying her new CD!!

Jann never disappoints in her performance. She is an amazing talent, in both her song writing and singing ability. Her sense of humour and interaction with her audience made for an extremely entertaining evening. The part of the show where she shared some of her personal family photos was hilarious and was worth the price of admission alone. I can't wait for her next return to Vancouver. Jann is an all-around entertainer....not to be missed!
Have seen her every time she comes to town, and she just gets better each time!
Wow,a whole new band(almost)a new sound, the new additions to the band are fabulous.There a couple sitting beside me obviously,and several times during the show the woman reached over and took her husbands hand...,that warm fuzzy feeling ...that what Jann's voice does...brings you back to the heart.Thanks Jann!If there is any left GET YOUR TICKET for tonights show.....she.always leaves me wanting more!
Brilliant show! Jann Arden is just as good, if not better, live than recorded and has a stage presence that no other artist can even compare to. The band was great, sound was great, venue was good, lights awesome. What a wonderful show! So glad I got to experience one of my idols live in concert. A dream come true in every sense of the words. Bravo!
The only thing better than experiencing a Jann Arden concert would be meeting Jann in person. She is obviously a very well grounded person and equally as obvious an amazing musician. I've always enjoyed her music because the melody alone is attractive but when married with the deep roots of meaning behind the lyrics with a bold person, the ingredients for a wonderful evening are assured. She has grace and humour and artistic talents and if that were not enough she has a band and stage management that make the whole experience work very well. Bottom line: I enjoyed the concert. Thanks Jann for reminding us all of what a great Canadian you are among us.!
