The entire storyline was very good, nice to have some humour in there as well, amazing voices and acting. Was definitely worth the price of admission.
Both my lady and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Reminiscing with the tunes and learning the struggles gone through showed the business as it really was. Looking forward to attending more productions in the future. Flashdance is the next on the radar. Cheers
We had a great time listening to Jersey Boys, it was fun. The only criticism was at times the background music was over amplified and drowned out the voices. The singing was exceptional so it was a shame that sometimes it was overpowered. Other than that, we really enjoyed ourselves listening to the told songs.
An awesome show with great music that was easily recognizable. The commentary about the trials and tribulations of the group brought it to a level for us to understand what happens in the background. Great sound
If you get a chance go to see this show! The set was simple but did the job, what was outstanding was the singing, the music, which is what this show was about.
One of my all-time favourite musicals. It's our 7th or 8th time seeing Jersey Boys. This road cast are all very good - there were a few glitches but hardly noticeable. The 4 leads were all great; their singing and timing were incredible. The songs are so enjoyable to hear and the storyline quite touching. I have to say that the NAC this night was uncomfortably hot - so much so that we left after the first act. The venue needs some updating - it's a great venue, just getting a little tired.
Take out the swearing! There was no swearing on Broadway! Take out the French bit at the beginning. No need! I see below it says upload photos with comments. Photos were not allowed! Why ask for some?? Video????
I travelled to Toronto to see this production twice and then the NAC last Friday....this show never disappoints, I have to say I liked something about the Toronto presentations better, perhaps the stage/different actors? There is a fair bit of language but considering it was about the good old boys of Jersey you have to expect it. It leaves a permanent smile on your face the entire show, anyone over let's say 16 would enjoy this, impossible not to.
Not much dancing in the aisles - too many new hips and knees, I guess. However, both my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the show.
Whether you're old enough to remember when...or as young as my grandson, Jersey Boys captures you into the spirit of time and place. You'll sway, tap and sing your way through this one. Great!
I accidentally booked this show in the afternoon instead of evening so my husband was unable to attend due to work so I took my sister with me and we both agreed that the group were nothing short but amazing and entertaining. the music brought back memories and the entertainers were very talented. Now I can say that I understand what Frankie Valli and his group went through to become so successful and let me say it wasn't easy for them. It's a must see and hear and you won't be disappointed. My only negative is that I can't go back to see them due to lack of time. Loved it!
the show was just alright. In my mind, it is highly overrated. We were sitting in the amphitheater and the voices were barely audible. Should have kept my $100 and done something better with it.
Jersey Boys was absolutely great!! The music was incredible. I would definitely see it again.
We couldn't have had a better time. The music! The talent! The voices! The acting! I was singing along at Shary Baby and it just went up from there. When it was over, I just wanted to sit there and have it happen all over again. I had seen it before in Toronto (and LOVED it - natch - why we went again) but I loved it even more this time!!!!
Good old Days of the 60's. It made me feel like a teenager.
I was not aware and disappointed with the profanity displayed ,and glad I did not bring my Grandchildren ( 10+ years )to introduce them in this way to this era of music ! Having said that I loved the rest of the show . The settings and sound were very well done .The cast was OUTSTANDING and the music amazing ! I would certainly attend a JERSEY BOYS CONCERT !
Myself and five of my girlfriends went to the matinee show on Thursday, June 27th. Our seats were excellent. We laughed, sang, tapped our feet and reminisced while thoroughly enjoying the total " four seasons" experience.
FABULOUS! WONDERFUL! What a wonderful cast! I can't say enough about this musical! Would absolutely see it again & again.
The language from "Jersey in the day" was a bit rough for mixed audiences; however, the music was fabulous and the energy of the show spectacular.
I would go AGAIN to see Jersey Boys. The show was excellent!
