    Good ol Rock n' Roll!

by youcantrewind on 2009-10-19The Garrick Centre - Winnipeg

Jet was great. Totally lived up to my expectations and they threw a great party. ...which a couple of overenthusiastic "party-goers" definitely took advantage of, hahaha.

    JET rocked the house

by BBRocker on 2009-10-19The Garrick Centre - Winnipeg

With the warm up bands having some good energy, yet coming off a little like a garage band from the 90's, and an emo version of Janes Addiction (respectively), Jet stole the stage and rocked harder than any other rock band I've seen in ages. They had the crowd going hard the whole set .. and kept them begging for more before coming out for their 4 song encore !

Amazing show! By far one of the best concerts I've been to! JET was AWESOME! Although I have never heard any of Kill Hannah's songs, they were super good too!

    Great show, but late

    by Vic73 on 2009-10-19Flames Central - Calgary

The performances were great! But it was too late a show. Two opening bands is too much, since the band I actually went to see didn't come on stage until after 11pm. My friend and I had to leave part way through Jet (which is who we actually wanted to see) and had to watch the entirety of two other acts which were ok and all, but not the point of the night. Earlier shows would suit us better, and you can provide follow-up acts for those who want to stay late if you want...

Amazing, in a word! They seemed to be having as much fun as the crowd and completely surpassed expectations. They are certainly one of the few bands today that sound even better live than they do on record. Pure rock 'n' roll and oh so danceable; so much fun!

    jet was amazing!!!!!!!!

by 588888 on 2009-10-16Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

We saw JET in Edmonton; the band was fabulous! Not many people present but the weather probably had something to do with it! Also the fact that it was at EEC was a bummer besause it was 18+ only and ALL my kids love JET and we have been listening to them since they came out! Yeah they finally came to North America. ! The prolonged time frame was very annoying and totally uncalled for; please; 8pm on the ticket and the warm up band only gets out at 945ish; and Jet at 11pm- ridiculous. BUuuut I'd go and see JET again anytime!

    Jet was awesome!!!

by Gigglez on 2009-10-16Flames Central - Calgary

Jet played our faves, i only wish they could have played longer. The wait for the show to start was longer than the performance...it seemed that way. I liked their interaction with the crowd...when they pulled the girl onstage and let her sing away and snap pics from the stage was a real crowd pleaser!! Kill Hannah was a surprise for me as I hadn't heard them play, they had a following there. Played really well and the energy of the band was prolific. I like their style and Rebel Yell was totally awesome! The Lions were totally awesome!!! I really enjoyed their style of music and and again the energy and good to hear that they are now based in Calgary.

Amazing band, amazing venue, couldn't have asked for a better night! These guys are fantastic to see live - they rocked out harder than ever!

Excellent band and a fun show

by Takingover on 2009-10-16Flames Central - Calgary

Loved the concert. Great venue but hated the kill hannah band. Jet is fantastic. Not a bad song in the set. Catchy, excellent guitars, tight and they go for it and enjoy themselves up there. Better than I hoped. A band I've always wanted to see live and they were great!

JET rocked! (When they finally got on stage...)

by suntarazu on 2009-10-16Flames Central - Calgary

If I were reviewing just JET's performance, I'd give 7 stars if I could! They were phenomenal, friendly with the crowd and incredibly entertaining.....1 hour set plus 3 encore songs! Venue was great for the show as well. The bummer was waiting between bands....I enjoyed both the Lions and Kill Hannah (who were kind of weird tho!) well enough as warm ups to JET, but there was almost an hour wait between Kill Hannah and JET....good thing they were worth the wait, because there were a lot of really frustrated people in the crowd!

    Awesome Austrailian Rock n roll

Excellent set, played most of the favourites and some new stuff, all of which was stellar. Will definately buy their new album.

    Good time to be had.

by Tishatwo on 2009-10-15Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

My Dad and I have very similar taste in music so when I heard Jet was coming to town, I bought the tickets for him as an early 50th birthday present. Other than being the 50 year old in the crowd most people mistake for a drug dealer, he had a blast. The show was very upbeat and made me happy; that deep down 'tickle my rock bone' happy I get sometimes. Played some new tunes and all the singles. Jet (having been previously known for thier extra long sets) had to shut her down around midnight (rather begrudgingly) due to the venue but you could tell they were having a blast too. The show was also probably about half full which for Edmonton is odd but I don't think anyone noticed with all the noise everyone was making. If your looking for a moderate to high energy show, this one should pump you up.

JET was awesome, talented band memebers who all sung, even the drummer, while drumming. The question is, why was there so few audience members? seriously lacking in the promotion department?

    It was so Amazing!

by missy2323 on 2009-10-15Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

It was a great concert!!! I wasn't the biggest fan of the opening band, but lots of people were - just not my thing I guess. If you love jet, you'd love this concert. They play a huge mix of songs over all three albums! It was so good, I'm going to Calgary to see it again! ;)

    Jet: should be grounded

by LoonyLoo on 2009-07-27Mod Club Theatre - Toronto

Show was a waste of time and money to say the least. They did a good job in performing songs off their first album but I would think they should since they've been playing them for 5+ years. As far as their new stuff is concerned the only word that comes to mind is abysmal. They are either going through the motions in trying to live up to a record contract or have lost all creative inspiration or thought. It was actually painful watching them perform the new stuff especially with all the 'bop-bop-bop-bop' lyrics. They were a great band back in the day... so sad to see them hit the wall only within a few years...
