Great time that man can play a guitar, best show I’ve seen in some time.
Recently went to Ireland to see Joe playing all of Rory Gallagher. Brilliant performance. So it just made sense to go to a performance closer to home. Managed to scoop front row, centre tickets. Well worth it. Brilliant performance once again. He never fails to put together a great band and performance at the highest level.
Joe Bonamassa was absolutely amazing, it was a tick off of my bucket list and he did not disappoint in any way. However, it was at Woodbine Casino in Toronto, Canada. The venue was good, but the big disappointment was that there was no video screens.. for those of us that do not have front row seats having videos screens to be able to see the performers up close and centre was something that should have been in the venue and I was very surprised it wasn’t.
My husband cut his hand on glass railing and no not help. Sound not so great. Couldn't get t help
Joe and his band were amazing and the venue is lovely; however, when exiting back through the casino, there should be more than one (1) security access point. This caused a bottleneck. Otherwise, great venue.
This is the second time I have seen Joe. Last time he had the horn section. This time he had no horns, and played a little harder edge blues rock show. The show would have had more life with the big screens going. The sound was adequate and the band played well. Joe is an outstanding guitar player. Good show overall.
Joe Bonamassa is an unbelievable talent and his band puts on a great show. Unfortunately they chose a terrible venue. No ambiance whatsoever and seating on the floor is awful because it's flat instead of on a grade. I really don't understand why they would do such a half-ass job on this venue when they did such an awesome job constructing the OLG Stage at Fallsview. That venue is a joy for any musical experience.
Bonamassa was simply awesome. Band was incredible. I’m not a huge fan of Joe but he delivered the goods for a solid two hours. The Great Canadian theatre is a lifeless dull unimpressive venue that looks as though they might move the chairs and host a basketball game the next day. Not a warm comforting historic place to see a live show. And be sure to budget an extra 30 minutes of time to be stuck in the traffic jam exiting the venue.
This was my first time seeing Joe Bonamassa live and also my first time at this venue. I thought the acoustics were great but I would have liked to see the side stage screens on as we were on the 3rd balcony. As always, Joe is an incredible talent and wonderful to listen to!
One of the finest values guitarists on the planet. And surrounded by extraordinary musicians and vocalists!
