  • SUPERB EVENT

by Fagen on 2024-06-07Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

An incredible accomplished musician and performer. One felt the energy and excitement from Jon Batiste the moment he walked on the stage. Easy to tell that he was an accomplished musician who kept the audience up and entertained the whole performance. He caped it off with an encore walk through the audience but on the lower level and circle; he WOWED the audience.

  • A bit disappointed

He is such a Talented man and connected a lot with the audience, but a bit disappointed he did not sing more of his original songs and I paid to hear him sing nor pay to hear the audience sing .

Nobody knew where the parking for the event would be. I ended up paying extra parking somewhere close even though it was offered as a bundle.

From beginning to end Jon Batiste and his amazing band had the entire audience engaged and energized by their energy and flawless performance. So fortunate to have attended and to be situated where he stood right beside me when he came into the audience during the encore

by Petunia on 2024-03-16MTELUS - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Batiste is an extraordinary human being with the talent, creativity, generosity, soul and talent of many in one. I call him "the Chosen"as he is on a journey to unite a divided America through his innovative talent, kindness, joy and heavenly music. The venue was perfect for this concert and I hope he will continue to perform in this venue in Montreal. Montreal audiences always deliver and I hope he keeps us in his heart and tour Schedule. Jazzfest opener????

  • My review

by Joanna on 2024-03-16MTELUS - MontrealRating: 4 out of 5

Jon Batiste was perfect. One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. Bought the vip experience with meet and greet. The staff had us come in and get out green bracelet then we had to wait outside in the cold. Completely unacceptable.

Jon Batiste is a talented musician but what brings that talent to life is his love and passion for goodness. This was an inspiring, beautiful, awesome concert that had everyone rocking and laughing. One of the best concerts I've been to (and there have been many good ones)!

  • This is SOUL music

by Em on 2024-03-15Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best performers! Jon Batiste and his band stopped mid-number to get this notoriously sleepy Toronto crowd on their feet with a few inspiring words: "The song is called Freedom and whatever y'all are doing ain't it! This is soul music. Get on your feet! Be free!"I wish we had more room to move at Massey Hall 'cause man did these guys know how to play. I've never been to a show with more audience engagement -- we sang nursery rhymes, witnessed a few members of the audience take to the stage, and to top it all off, Jon and his band came marching through the crowd all the way up to the third floor balcony! An absolute delight of a show. Thank you Jon Batiste and your amazing group of musicians.

  • Awesome show!

by Lynn on 2024-03-15Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Batiste didn’t disappoint his audience! He was energetic, engaged the audience on many occasions and is a real showman! He played some familiar and not so familiar songs that were well varied. He is especially talented playing many instruments and singing in many ranges. We loved the show and would unhesitantly see him again.
