    Tommy Tiernan was hysterical

by Meesmer on 2010-07-12Jane Mallett Theatre - Toronto

I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Tommy Tiernan was hysterical from start to finish. Occasionally he spoke quickly and his thick Irish accent made him difficult to understand; but overall, I loved the show!

    The experience was splendid!

by c37786870 on 2010-07-12Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

I would love to recommend to my dearest mother to watch the show with me, when she is coming to Canada for a visit. This is the first time the Chinese has been invited to Toronto. I really do appreciate with the host in Toronto. In the end, we finished at 10.10 in the evening. It was a very lucky number. Overall, the show did a pretty good job. I hope this event would continue for next year.

    Young At Heart is Wonderful!

by Kools on 2010-07-11Roy Thomson Hall - Toronto

Great show. The singers were all fantastic and the feeling in the audience was great. I had a hard time sitting still. I really did appreciate the Canadian content. The repertoire was fun and the entire concert was positive and most entertaining.

The Relationship Show - Just for Laughs

by Coopdedoop on 2010-07-11Winter Garden Theatre - Toronto

We found that sitting for two hours without a break was way too much sitting. I guess we thought the show would be more about "adult relationships", but three of the four comedians talked about the relationship with their kids. When one of them asked the audience, "how many here have kids," very few put up their hands. When a show starts at 9:30 P.M., you can be pretty sure that the audience is not made up of young parents.

    Russell stole the show

by mrssmilth on 2010-07-11Massey Hall - Toronto

The comedy show was a blast , Russell stole the show and unfortuantely he didn't do the whole show. The few minutes we did get form him, I was crying and lauging so much!!!!!...The other comics were good too, like the guy from "The Marriage Ref"....he was great all the others were ok.....I recommend the show to all but the 200plus I paid was too much for not haveing Russell the whole time....Maybe next time!!!

    Not enough Louis CK

    by Blinkfan6 on 2010-07-11Massey Hall - Toronto

Very disappointed that there was no big Louis CK time at the end of the show. I did not pay a ton of money to see comedians I've never heard of. Disappointing

    Hysterical!

by Anonymous on 2010-07-11Winter Garden Theatre - Toronto

Every single one of the comedians were fabulous. Each were totally different and yet stuck to the theme of the night. At one point I laughed so hard I thought I was going to have an asthma attack! Thanks for that Sebastian! :) We got more than our money's worth for this event and we'll definitely be coming back to the JFL next year!

    Wrong Title

by Veradonna on 2010-07-11Winter Garden Theatre - Toronto

The show was great, lots of laughs, however I would call it "Married Life Sucks Show" as there were very little if none references to relationships between UNMARRIED men and women.

    Tommy Tiernan is terrific

by hawkey2 on 2010-07-11Jane Mallett Theatre - Toronto

Still chuckling over the things he said two days later! Venue was good: just a nice size and comfortable seating. I'll go back again next year if he comes to Toronto.

Another great show from Louis CK

by seanpfoster on 2010-07-11Massey Hall - Toronto

I love the Just for laughs Gala events, this is my 2nd year going (I saw the Sarah Silverman Gala last year), you get a lot of great comedians giving you 15-20 minutes worth of their best material. The energy is always really high, I think I'll be making the Gala event an annual tradition for me and my friends.

    Great Show

by vampcheerleader on 2010-07-11Richmond Hill Centre - Richmond Hill

I couldn't stop laughing. The first act I didn't really care for, but the rest of the line up were great. There was one comedian near the end that had me in stitches. All in all a great evening

    Not Enough Louis

by Saliwok on 2010-07-11Massey Hall - Toronto

I know I missed it, but then so did the other folks that I went with. We were all convinced that we were going to a Louis C.K. show. As it turned out, Louis was MC'ing a gala with other comics and, for the most part, they didn't suck. Good thing, because for $100 a seat, they shouldn't have sucked! We'll just have to wait for a proper Louis C.K. show and read all the fine print, too.

Chinese artists led by Jiang Kun from China

by George03 on 2010-07-11Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

The programs and performence are Excelent! A nice list of programs should be necessary for the audience. The Queen Elizabeth Threatre is well designed but a bit too old. It needs renovation. The location of parking is convenient. But it takes too much time to leave after the show. There should be somebdy incharge of trafic at the entrance.

    Excellent Show

by parist on 2010-07-11Massey Hall - Toronto

What a show. Brad Garrett was amazing. He was so good with the crowd and even asked people to ask him questions which I thought was a good touch. Everyone was amazing. They made everyone laugh so hard all the time. I would strongly recommend this show.
