It was a awesome show and my friends and me had a great evening. If Michael is back to Toronto we will come again.
The show was amazingilg funny. Two hours was a little short but it was good
I knew he was going to be funny - but this show was just hilarious!! He had me in tears many times... would definitely recommend the show!
it is a very good show, i like it. we need more chinese comedy.
I first wanted to give props to the venue as is had this intimate feel for the show. The show started with his opening act (cant remember name, Tom i think) and that guy was crazy. Very funny and great interaction with the crowd. Aziz hit the stage and the place was live ... and for over an hour you were left laughing/tearing out and falling off your chair. New jokes were funny, and also the new material on his Cuz/Cinna-Buns ... loved it. He is totally worth the show, and i find better than "SugarSammy" and Russell Peters.
First and foremost Russell Peters is so hilarious. The lineup behind him were so funny as well, I would suggest any stand up fans to see this show!
The show was well written, well performed - left wanting more.
Amazing - I found every comic was laugh till you can't breathe funny. Not a dud in the bunch. The MC (Tom Papa) was hilarious as was Mary Ellen Hooper. It was great value, held in a great venue (The Winter Garden). I highly recommend this show. I used to go to the just for laughs festival in Montreal over serveral years, but I can't remember laughing so much as I did this time! I hope this festival really takes off in Toronto.
Gold took us on an amazingly funny trip of history, culture and the Jewish way of life, love and laughter.
Russell Peters is second to none at working the crowd. All-star line up didn't dissapoint.
From beginning to end this stand up comedy kepy me in stitches. Each performer was as good as the next. It was pleasant to go to a comedy without a whole lot of swearing and filth as the main content. There are a few choice words used but not overused. Recommend it to anyone who wants to loosen up the facial muscles
Seeing Wayne Brady was the reason for going to this event; however, as the host, he was only on stage for two,10 minute segments. Two of the other comics were good but the other three were very lacklustre. One of the two good comics, Gabriel Iglesias, made the show worth it. I would go to see a show entirely of him.
I enjoyed most of the show, but found that from where we were sitting in the venue, Row C far right, we had a hard time a lot of the times understanding/hearing what he said. Found that, as has happened many times lately, that most comics can't run a 90 minute show on their own. Really starting to think that 45 minutes sets are the proper form. Gets you the most of the comic and his/her best stuff. Tommy was animated and disjointed as always, but after waiting for this show found it a bit of a let down. Enjoyable evening, but sound in the hall made it less than had hoped.
The event was great. Italian guy in the beginning was the best. He should have been the closer. Jim Bruer was a little psycho and using 5 yr old material. The canadian guy was awful. Brad Garrett was really funny. Great show overall!
Great show, we go each year to Toronto's Just For Laughs and we have enjoyed it each time.
I've seen all these comics on TV (especially Robert), and this was by far a lot funnier than I expected them to be. Definitely surpassed my hopes for the evening. My favorites would have to be Jim Bruer, Sebastian, and, of course, Brad Garett. If they do come back, YOU MUST WATCH!
It was a very funny show and his new material was a lot better than his last comedy special. When it came time for an encore I actually didn't enjoy his older bits as much as his new stuff.
Enjoyable venue, even Aziz commented on how neat it was! He had a great performance, my face hurt by the end of the night from laughing so much.
All of the comics had awesome side-splitting material. They all seemed to have a genuine feel for the audience and played off of that....loved it-can't wait for next year!
