Kathleen Edwards concert was fantastic. She is a very expressive singer and she left you feeling that you could achieve anything. Great artist. Great band. Great opening act. Great night. Not much more to say.
Kathleen Edwards is a true Canadian Gem! She can blow you away with a heartfelt ballad, and then rock out with the best. She has a wicked sense of humour and connected easily with the audience. Major song writing talent, NOT to be missed when she comes back to town!!!
Something is plain wrong when we line up outside at 7:30pm for the Commodore Ballroom doors to open at 8pm. Opening act starts at 9pm only to wait for Kathleen Edwards to make her appearance at 10:15pm. Ticketmaster or the Commodore should post this "warning, you may have to wait almost 3 hours for the artist to start performing". I can almost understand if this was "Prince" but not Kathleen Edwards....come on....

We have been fans of Kathleen Edwards & have followed her career for many years. We have seen her live several times. Her new band is great. This was perhaps the best of her concerts that we attended.
Kathleen Edwards was terrific. The band was tight and really seemed to enjoy playing for the very respectful audience. The concert was actually amazing. The only draw back was the standing room only option.
Kathleen Rocked! Solid band having fun. Kathleen has soul.
Absolutely flawless performance by Kathleen Edwards and her band. From her beautiful voice which tackled all songs perfectly, to her fabulous band that was clearly having a blast and absolutley blew everyone away, this was a night to remember. Next time see you at the the Great Hall
I feel we were a bit shortchanged with this show, quite short and rather lackluster. Maybe she needs Jim Bryson to keep things together but it was kind of ho-hum. She seemed pretty much unengaged with her back catalogue, at one point openly making fun of it. A bit of levity is appreciated but several songs were broken up with jokes etc. And the encore was only 3 songs, perhaps to better make her early flight to the Grammy's. We however paid full price. Also, please speak up we couldn't hear what you were saying in the back. She's still the greatest thing since sliced bread on record, but I've seen much better shows from her.
Excellent Show. Kathleen exhibits far more passion in her vocals on stage then in a produced album. Fun, lively, perfectly performed. Loved her intimate information on writing and how some songs came about. Highly recommend going to see her any time you get the chance. Her band is awesome as well. Was if "Curt" the lead guitarist....he was exceptional as well as key boards. I've been following Kathleen for about eight years. She is evolving into and outstanding writer/performer. Great Canadian, pure talent.
The entire evening was great. Hanna Georgas opening the show and Kathleen was on top of her game.
Kathleen Edwards is amazing. Her show and set were amazing. Unfortuntately, this venue was terrible. No seats, bad sound, hard to find the location if you are not from Hamilton. Just a drab room that you had to stand around in and try to find a way to see the band with no option to sit down for hours. Ridiculous. Tried to still enjoy the show, which was pretty great. Hannah Georges is a good artist but is awkward personified on stage. She needs some help in the stage presence department. Kathleen Edwards put on a wonderful show. She was pretty emotional to be back in the Hammer. I found this intimate, my husband thought it was a bit too much. Either way, she is fantastic. Please find Kathleen a venue that is more worthy of her. Paying $40 to stand around in a studio seems ridiculous. Also did not appreciate the fact that there were VIP seats when I had to stand for the whole time. Very elitist for the Hammer.
Hannah Georgas almost stole the show as well! A great night of music, but what was with the standing only? No seating available. Weird.
a very fun and music packed evening. was emotional as she connected with everyone in the house but rocking at the same time.. fantastic energy!
