Great show at the Fallsview last weekend !! If you are from this era it is a show you don't want to miss !!
Great show - almost 40 years to the month that I first saw the band In these times of stress and negativity It was great to see and spend some fun time watching a pretty tight band have fun too
This concert had us out of our seats the whole time. THANK YOU!!!!! Such a great time!
Great to re-live some of the disco songs of the 70's. KC still has a strong powerful voice. At 66 his dance moves have slowed up a tad but fun nonetheless. Nice interaction with audience. Great Band & Dancers.
Great sound, dancing, singing and great songs. Even his cover songs were excellent.
As an older band, KC has learned that stage presence is as important as the songs. Older, less agile and with a lesser voice range, he was still able to make it fun by engaging the audience. 9/10 for effort.
Just as I remembered them in my teens. Played all my favourites
The show was amazing. I surprised my older sister (9 years) with this concert. She didn't know until after her ticket was scanned what we were doing that night. It was amazing. We were in the 6th row and enjoyed every minute of it. The music was amazing the dancing was over the top. KC's a great dancer. I would definitely go and see them live again. We'll never forget this funderful night with KC and The Sunshine Band.
KC is 65 now but looks likes he's in great shape and can still belt out the old tunes which brought back some great memories. The band was fantastic and they also had some backup singers and dancers. My only complaint would be the venue. if you're not in the first section you can't see much as it is not stadium seating. And you can't see the screens either when people are blocking them. However, if you want to dance and have a few drinks you can do that by standing on the side. So, if they come back to town again, I would prefer a different venue.
The band was pretty good. However, KC who I saw many, many years ago has lost some of the crispness in his voice. That's to be expected though, he is 65 now, but still gave it his all. What I didn't expect was the venue. The seating was terrible, which made the event less memorable. I can't remember ever going to a major concert where the band was almost on the same level as the audience. Some seats actually had pillars in front of them. I was so far away from the band, that watching the screens was my only hope to see the band. The sound was very poor near the back as well.
great performance lots of energy and dancing was great!
It was great seeing them after so many years, Nice to know he can still sing great. Great show indeed.
Danced for two hours. Wooohoooo. That's just the way I like it
I know KC tried his best and sang all his hit songs. But unfortunately, due to either health issues, smoking, being overweight or Father Time, his voice has changed considerably from when he was much younger and recorded these hits. KC started the concert by saying " I know you are thinking what the hell happened" as a joke to loosen up the audience and make them laugh. Unfortunately, that is just what I thought as I listened to him sing. After the concert, I went home to listen to the original songs to see why the concert seemed so different then what I expected. His voice in the 70's was much better than his current voice. If you are nostalgic and don't really care that much about the purity of the voice, then you will enjoy it. If you want to hear how it originally sounded, then save your money
This is the third show I've been to at Rama to see KC and the Sunshine band and have thoroughly enjoyed every show. He brings something different to every show even though he is basically singing the same songs.
They put on such a great show! The audience was up and dancing, very unlike the crowds at Rama. It felt like you were back in the disco days again.
KC still at it still very good ! Although his voice was a bit different from yesteryears he still manages to captivate his audience. The best part of the concert was he sang all of his hits !
What a great show, outstanding band and singers. KC blew the doors off the place.
After entertaining me with his music through the 70's, 80's and 90's, the evening was nostalgic and had me rocking in my seat until I couldn't take it anymore and got up to "boogie"! KC is full of energy for a guy his age. Added to that, he is a burgeoning comedian. Laughter from his jokes, making fun of himself and life, and laughter from wonderful disco tunes from superbly talented musicians, dancers and singers, all made for a fabulous night of entertainment. KC, when are you coming back?
Nice intimate venue which is a hockey arena. Seats uncomfortable as they were fold-up metal ones but didn't spend too much time sitting down as we were dancing. The Village People were fab and had us all dancing and singing along although the volume could have been a little louder. KC & the Sunshine Band came on with a POW and were great. KC joked with the crowd and talked about how he'd put on weight since giving up smoking and said he's 62 and still dancing around like a fool. I guess I didn't realize how many singers he'd written songs for. I loved George McCrae's Rock Your Baby which KC sang on the night as he wrote it. We were all up dancing anyway to old favourites. Great night!
