An excellent entertaining show performance from beginning to end.
It was good to hear his voice still strong as ever - enjoyed the concert very much.
I'm not a huge fan of Kenny Rogers but enjoyed his show very much. I went with 2 other people who also enjoyed the show. It was a great night out for the family. It really is a show for all ages. The three of us were 26,39, and 51. Kenny has a great sense of humor also!
Definitely enjoyed the show. Was as expected with mixture of new and old. Some entertainers with their opening acts, intermission, etc. do not provide as much entertainment as did Kenny in his 1.5 hour show. Telling the audience, up front, that here is your encore, is a great idea.
I have been a huge Kenny Rogers fan since I was a little girl. Tried to see him in Vegas a few years ago but it didn't pan out so was excited to get to see him perform at this intimate venue. Was thrilled at his charisma - felt like I was watching him perform in the living room of my own home. What I did notice was that he was struggling with the singing. Not sure whether he had a sore throat or if old age is starting to creep in and performing is now difficult for him. It would also have been great if he had had someone - a female singer - with him so that some of the old duets could have been performed in that fashion. Rogers rendition of Have a Little Faith in Me was very good and it was so nice to hear the classics performed live.
I had never seen Kenny Rogers perform live and was thrilled to have the opportunity. He performed as well as he could but seemed to be tired physically. His voice held up well for the louder portions of his songs, but barely came through for the softer notes. He did all his old hits, as well as some lesser known ones, and the videos shown were interesting. The girl on the fiddle was amazing, and the back up musicians were great. All in all I wished I could have seen him in his best years! I also would have like him to sing 'Lucille' instead of the audience.
Kenny rogers was a great concert. He has a great stage presence and is a funny entertainer.
sent Mom ,sister and sister in law as their birthday gift. They cant stop talking about how much they enjoyed their evening saying it was one of their best birthday gifts ever
My wife and I totally enjoyed the Kenny Rogers Show last night. We appreciated the fact that he was on stage for the entire show and we were not subjected to an "opening act." He showed a great sense of humour throughout his entire performance. It was a pleasure to once again listen to his past hits as well as some "new" songs that we heard for the first time, especially The Baseball Player, where did that come from? We really enjoyed it and would love to hear it again. All in all it was as wonderful show that we enjoyed very much.
Took my wife to this show as she is a Kenny Rogers fan. We both loved the show. Wish he had spoken into the mic more as we were in the 1st balcony & sometimes we would not hear what he was saying or singing. Still a great show. He is a very good entertainer & the show is just Kenny which we enjoyed. Some shows have to much fill, but Kenny shows you him.
The evening with Kenny Rogers was excellent. We enjoyed every minute of it.
Although late starting the show was a great mix of old favourites, newer stuff and very humourous stories. The show ran about 1 1/2 hours. If you are a Kenny Rogers diehard fan - you would undoubtably love this show.
Great show! My husband is actually the fan, so I bought the tickets for him, but I surprisingly really really enjoyed myself! Kenny is a lot funnier than I ever thought he would be.
Great entertainer, great music, enjoyable evening.
Was wonderful to hear all of his very best hits, his interaction with the audience was wonderful and fun. Too bad the souvenir booth wasn't set up as I understand the merchandise did not get thru customs in time to make it for the show. Would like to have purchased something as a reminder of his concert.
It was a great evening, bringing back lots of youthful memories! Though you could tell Kenny is "maturing" he is a great entertainor! I would certainly see him again but don't know how much longer he will be able to continue.
I always enjoyed Kenny Rodger's songs Here are the high of the show for me Kenny sang his hit songs, most of my favorites were done There were however more talking from Kenny that i liked I paid to hear him sing not talk The show did not start on time and was over at 9:30 When all the talks were removed he sang for about one hour Now for the final comment would i go back to see Kenny again A definite YES Even with all the talks the show was worth it for me as i have been a fan for a long time Thank you for bringing K Rodger to Hamilton Now how about Bobby Bare,,, Clint Black ??????????? And my wife all time favourite Ann Murray??? JP
Always a good sign when you can take your mother to a performance and she enjoys it as much as you do!! Kenny's been singing for decades and still has it!!! What a voice. He turns 71 tomorrow, Aug 21 and still going strong.
The show was amazing. Kenny was the ultimate entertainer. His music as always was wonderful. The music I listened to as a teenager and all thru the years was memorable. He drew the audience in as part of the show. He made us laugh and cheer. Enjoyed every minute of the show.
I was amazed that Kenny Rogers showed pics of his twin boys during the show. It was touching. I enjoyed seeing the past clips of him during The Gambler. The only thing negative I have to say about the whole night was that there wasn't any merchandise to buy. The programs they gave out didn't have anything about Kenny Rogers in it, just about the up coming shows at Hamilton Place. Would have love to get something to remember the night. However, I am glad that I was able to attend and see Kenny Rogers live.
