About

Kerry King is a songwriter an co-lead guitarist of the iconic thrash metal band Slayer. King co-founded Slayer in 1981 with Jeff Hanneman and is one of two original members who is still part of the band, along with vocalist Tom Araya. Slayer, who released 12 studio albums while active, embarked on a farewell tour in 2018 and disbanded at its conclusion in 2019. King went on to pursue a solo music career, with his debut album From Hell I Rise set to be released in 2024. Slayer announced that they are getting back together in February 2024.

    The whole lineup was exceptional, Midway was not overly packed, which was a bonus. The thing I probably like the most was that the show kept on time and moving with no big delays. If I have any negative, is that there should be at least a little bit of seating to give you a bit of a break to sit cuz not everyone's under 30 years old and can stand for 4 hours!

    Absolutely blew the roof off. The Kerry King band puts on an awesome show. I've seen them twice so far and both shows were amazing!

    Midway is a well run venue. Plenty of signage to know where the beer, atm, merch, beer, washrooms are at. The staff are friendly and helpful and the acoustics are great through the entire venue. The only very small issue I had is the bartenders don't take cash. All 3 bands played 10/10.

    Wicked awesome show!What a super group.Along with tunes off the Kerry King Album they played Slayer tunes also Iron Maidens old Killers tune!A must to see if coming to your town!🤘
