About

What started as a childhood dream of siblings Lzzy and Arejay Hale, Halestorm has become one of the most celebrated rock bands of the last two decades. Halestorm has scored seven number ones at rock radio, and their music has surpassed a billion streams worldwide. They have received two GRAMMY nominations and took home the award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance for "Love Bites (So Do I)" in 2012, which Rolling Stone called a "muscular, adventurous, and especially relevant rock record."

Fronted by the incomparable Lzzy Hale (an outspoken advocate of women's rights and Gibson Guitar's first female brand ambassador), along with drummer Arejay Hale, guitarist Joe Hottinger, and bass player Josh Smith, Halestorm has earned a reputation for their dominating live performances at countless sold-out shows, the top of festival bills, and sharing the stage with rock icons like Heaven & Hell, Alice Cooper, and Joan Jett.

  • PERFECT

Saw them live in quebec and I was amazed. Lzzy has the best vocals I’ve ever heard live. Had chills the whole time.

  • Amazing pipes!

Never heard of them but saw them open for Evanescence. Boy were they good! The singer has some of the best pipes you’ll ever hear. Great live band for sure!

  • Lighting Issues Bad Enough to be Seizure Inducing

by Kat on 2024-08-03Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was good overall, but the flashing strobe lights into the audience during I Prevail (and to a lesser extent Halestorm) was absolutely appalling. Adding in the screen of flashing colours during I Prevail - an epilepsy warning or at least some kind of warning would have been appreciated. I legit had to close and cover my eyes during the entire time I Prevail was on and sometimes for Halestorm. It was so bad and painful. I know others I talked to during the concert felt the same. A warning or no strobe lights into the audience would have made the experience so much better and safer!

  • Phenomenal

We loved every moment of this amazing band. Lizzy has absolutely mind-blowing vocals and the rest of the band has mad talent too! I already can't wait for them to come back!!

  • Halestorm ROCKS!

There mostly to see Halestorm, but Hollywood Undead and I Prevail brought the noise, too! Great atmosphere, easy to access food and beverages, clean venue, lots of security around, and at the end of the night, the staff were still giving great service as everyone filed out. 100% I will be back to see more acts here.

  • Disappointing Venue

by Justagirl on 2024-07-22Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

I prevail and halestorm were amazing but I mostly came to see Hollywood Undead and I missed them due to road closures and cabs not picking us up. I was very very sad.
