What started as a childhood dream of siblings Lzzy and Arejay Hale, Halestorm has become one of the most celebrated rock bands of the last two decades. Halestorm has scored seven number ones at rock radio, and their music has surpassed a billion streams worldwide. They have received two GRAMMY nominations and took home the award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance for "Love Bites (So Do I)" in 2012, which Rolling Stone called a "muscular, adventurous, and especially relevant rock record."
Fronted by the incomparable Lzzy Hale (an outspoken advocate of women's rights and Gibson Guitar's first female brand ambassador), along with drummer Arejay Hale, guitarist Joe Hottinger, and bass player Josh Smith, Halestorm has earned a reputation for their dominating live performances at countless sold-out shows, the top of festival bills, and sharing the stage with rock icons like Heaven & Hell, Alice Cooper, and Joan Jett.

The lineup for this event was perfect. They were a perfect blend of instrumental, rock, pop and fantasy. We loved the storytelling that came through. The only thing we did not like we're the prices for good and drink. $8.50 for a large fountain pop and like $4 for a bottle of pop... Thankfully my bottle of water wasn't confiscated at the door because I couldn't afford to buy one! You need to lower prices or remove the "no outside good or drink"rule. I have medical issues and I have to eat at certain times or take meds at certain times and I don't always have extra cash when events come around.
Enjoyed the performance. Was kinda disappointed that lindsey stirling and Lizzy hale did not do shatter me! Thought that would of been a good song for lindsey to end on and switch into Halestorm. For the seats on the floor I did find them a bit squished.
Show was great but strange combo as Lindsey Stirling has a lot of younger fans and the opener was a bit much for them, I also a lot of kids crying. I know maybe the show isn’t for kids but it might have been good to know when she actually started so you can skip the opener, also no in and out of the centre and so we couldn’t even go on a walk while waiting to escape the noise. I sound like such a fun hater but just looking to try and make everyone happy :)
That was a great show! I chuckled on the way in that I felt old but the demographic was really broad. Those of us who were metalheads in the 80's remember when some crazy Celloists from Finland decided to play Metalica. And those guys can still wind up a crowd. Then came Linsey Stewart. a tiny little 39 year old ball of hyperactivity that was fun to watch and try to keep up with. And finally, the main event. Halestorm. I will be honest, I don't love everything they do, but what i do like, I love. And with a singer like Izzy who is a scream rocker I was worried about clarity. I did not need to. We were under the linear arrays and still could hear clearly. It was a great evening allround.
First off I had never heard of Apocalyptica and actually didn't know that they were an opening act. But Wow! They were great! Three cellist's playing metal! I would definitely see them again. Lindsey Stirling's high energy show was a great compliment to the lineup. Halestorm was fantastic! Lzzy and the band sounded awesome, had a great stage show and really rocked the house. Great energy all night. I picked up Halestroms new album and it is well worth it! I would spend the cash to see each and every one of those bands again. A really fun evening.
Had a great time. My daughter loved it. She is a huge Lindsey Stirling fan, but also enjoyed hearing the other artists. She was dancing along with pretty much all of Lindsey's songs and even some of Halestorm's despite being out way past her bedtime. The only downside was just how bright and flashing the lighting was for all three artists. I'm glad neither of us have any healthy problems with it, but it should definitely be something noted for any future shows for those buying tickets to be aware of.
One of the best concerts I've been to. Venue is amazing.
Apocalyptica was a great bad. Played 40 min set. Lindsey Sterling was very entertaining had 1 hour set. Halestorm killed it, so amazing and had 1.5hr set. The reason I gave 3 star reviews because concert was 4 hours total with all changes in between performances. I think 2 acts would be better than 3. Also the venue was super cold and did not allow you to bring personal reuseable water bottles.
New tour . Openers Apocalypta were amazing, 3 guys on cellos playing Metallica! Second was Lindsey Stirling - awful violinist dancer… prancing around like an attention seeking child!, Then came Halestorm- Lzzy’s birthday and a fantastic show as usual, full of energy and great music.
