About

The Warning draw strength and power from a lifetime of sisterhood and music. The Mexico-born sister trio--Daniela "Dany" [guitar, lead vocals, piano], Paulina "Pau" [drums, vocals, piano], and Alejandra "Ale" Villarreal [bass, piano, backing vocals]--have logged thousands of miles on the road, generated hundreds of millions of streams, and left countless fans in awe. All of this tireless work and dedication has shaped and sharpened their sound with knifepoint precision, arming alternative anthems with universally catchy hooks and an uncompromising hard rock kick. The girls have devoted themselves to a shared dream since their childhood in Monterrey, Mexico. They initially made waves with a string of independent releases, paving the way for their acclaimed 2022 full-length offering ERROR. Between performing alongside Muse, Foo Fighters, Guns N' Roses, Royal Blood, The Pretty Reckless, Three Days Grace and Imagine Dragons, the band ignited MTV's Extended Play Stage at the 2023 MTV VMAs. Representative of their cultural impact, Pepsi even notably chose them as the face of Pepsi Black in Mexico. Moreover, they emerged as the rare force who could comfortably appear in features by Vanity Fair, People, Cosmopolitan, and Glamour as well as on Metallica's star-studded Blacklist compilation--placing their cover of "Enter Sandman" [with Alessia Cara] shoulder-to-shoulder with contributions from Ghost, St. Vincent, Chris Stapleton, IDLES and Weezer. The Warning embraced their destiny on their 2024 full-length album, Keep Me Fed [LAVA/Republic Records]. The album was introduced by singles "MORE," "S!CK" "Hell You Call A Dream", "Que Mas Quieres", "Automatic Sun", and "Burnout". In 2024 they continued their global impact with nominations and performances at the Latin GRAMMYs for "Best Rock Song" and MTV's EMAs for "Push Artist." The Warning was also nominated for "Push Performance" at MTV's VMAs and performed on France's Taratata.

  • warning with a kiss

by the kiss man on 2025-02-28Rating: 5 out of 5

I have seen them 5 times and met them twice. Iam a mega kiss fan and no one passes them for anything. I even have tattoo's of kiss. When I met the warning they were fantastic people. told Pau she is a reincarnation of Eric Carr and still believe they will be in the rock'nroll hall of fame. After seeing them live I am more convence for they are a force to be reconed with live. they are the future of rock music. Next time they are in canada I plan to see them in Ottawa, Quebec, Toronto, and in my own city in Montreal. Are they worth it hell yes. The Warning have given the belief rock'nroll is still alive. And yes I also have a tatoo of The Warning which they saw. for me they are right after Kiss for my all time favorite band. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Amazing night of pure rock was one I'll remember for a long time. First time seeing The Warning and won't be the last.

  • First rock concert in 50 years - worth the wait.

This was an outstanding concert by the three incredibly talented sisters who are The Warning. The venue was good, with a capacity about 1,000, so you felt quite close to the band and could see everything that was going on. Their performance was excellent and there were a couple of unscripted but endearing moments at the end when a bee chased Pau and Dani, and then Dani's guitar cut out in the last five seconds of their last song. Would go see them again in a heartbeat.

  • Must see them live.

by Max on 2024-11-02The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Expectations were quite high from watching so many concert videos of them on YouTube. They easily exceeded all expectations. DPA absolutely love to be on stage rocking out. They don't mess around, they start at 100% and don't slow down at all. They are having a blast up there and love to share the fun. Also, their audio mix is absolutely the best I've heard in person. Very loud but everything is crystal clear in the mix. Just excellent Rock with some influence from a bunch of sub-genres. Their fan group is also crazy friendly and helpful. Just a great time, a must see.

  • The Warning are world class

This trio are simply magical. Having followed them since 2014 when they went viral with their cover Enter Sandman I have enjoyed their journey and growth as artists and people. In concert their powerful authenticity and sheer talent shines. They are masters of their craft. I wish them continued success in all aspects of their life. They are a joy to experience. Truly world class, love them.

  • Perfect concert in a too small venue

by The FOG (Friendly Old Guy) on 2024-11-02The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

My second The Warning concert live in Toronto. The ladies were awesome, of course, but they really need a larger venue next time they come to T.O.
