About

Heading downunder as part of Parkway Drive’s Reverence tour, Massachusetts metallers KILLSWITCH ENGAGE have unveiled two epic and intimate headline shows this October-November!

At the turn of the century KILLSWITCH ENGAGE spawned an entire genre with their earth-shattering debut, ‘Alive or Just Breathing’, earning the esteemed title as the Godfathers of Metalcore.

Built organically from the most potent components of melodic, heavy and catchy-as-hell European death metal and the essence of the most grimy, urgent and forever yearning American hardcore, the brilliantly individual KILLSWITCH ENGAGE have come to define a generational shift equal parts inevitable and by design, as cultural earthquakes and uprisings often are.

“… how metal is supposed to be heard….live and loud, pummelling your eardrums, and sending a rush through your body” – Heavy Mag

Joined by Justice For The Damned (Sydney Only), who back up every statement made with their Greyscale Records debut, 'Dragged Through The Dirt', Hysteria Mag calling it a “dark, abrasive, and supremely volatile listening experience” and Ocean Sleeper (Melbourne Only), hot off recording their debut album in the USA, among building a loyal fan base with their chart topping debut EP ‘Six feet Down’.

For these two epic headline shows you can expect a killer career spanning set from KILLSWITCH ENGAGE complete with chugging riffs, high energy and a hunger to perfect their attack on the movement they created.  Having sold out shows on their previous tour, don’t miss your chance to see metalcore giants KILLSWITCH ENGAGE tear up these intimate venues.

“Killswitch Engage have once again warmed cold, black, metal hearts around the country”- Wall Of Sound

  • Really great festival lineup

by Rivkaa on 2025-07-18Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Such a great little festival! I really hope we get more alternative festival lineups like this in the future. The only thing I will say is because of the heat warning and the terrible air quality, we needed way more water filling stations because the heat was unbearable. A cooling station would also have been great. Otherwise we had a great time.

  • Great time!!

by Meg on 2025-07-18Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

As usual, another great show at Budweiser Stage! The show ran smoothly with quick down times between each band. Every band delivered an epic performance.

  • Sound review

    by P-A on 2025-04-16Place Bell - LavalRating: 3 out of 5

I don’t know why but the sound quality for general admissions wasn’t there. The stands had great sound but general admissions barely made it for 3 of 4 performances including the main performance. Quite disappointed. The whole crowd looked dead except for those songs that had louder volume . You could hear people talking together and could have a conversation with others . I didn’t really have any other concern then that.

  • KSE Rocks!

by Luca on 2025-04-14Place Bell - LavalRating: 5 out of 5

Two of the openers weren't my cup of tea but the performance put on by Fit For A King was amazing and KSE absolutely tore the roof off. Their performance alone was worth the price of the tickets. Can't wait to see them again!

  • Killswitch Engage is incredible

by Travis W 97 on 2025-03-29Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

This was one hell of an event all 4 bands brought it and everyone there looked out for each other, my first time seeing Killswitch engage didn't disappoint they brought such a great energy live. In the future hopefully they come back to the grey eagle casino and resort as it is a nice venue and a good size crowd the security seemed well maintained and was overall a good experience.

  • KSE awesome /seats super uncomfortable

by SLAYERMOM on 2025-03-27Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

I never miss KSE when they come to town. The seats were super uncomfortable. Knees were jammed into the seat infront of us and when they leaned back then it hurt even more. I tried positioning myself differently and toes went numb. The arm rests jammed into my hips. Felt as though I couldn't stand during the show as the people behind us were not standing. I am still in pain days later. Back/Knees/Hips pain. Also I know how hot it gets in that venue and did dress accordingly but something should be done about that! Kind of distracting from the epic show. Quit trying to jam more people in and make it more comfortable please! I would do it again as I love the band but would be nice to see them comfortably.

  • Amazing as expected

Outstanding performance. They never disappoint. This is a true live band.

  • Amazing show in a Monday Night

by Rafa Tosi on 2025-03-27Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Killswitch Engage is a band that I have loved for almost 23 years. The first time I heard them was in 2002; after that, my perception of Metalcore changed forever. I had the opportunity to see them back in 2013 in Brazil (my home country) and after that, I was always expecting to see this awesome band live since I moved to Canada, I never had the chance until this past Monday, when they simply DESTROYED the place! The opening bands where good (I particularly love Fit for a King and hated Kublah Kan TX) but when the KSE entered the stage, they simply DESTROYED the place. It was a 1 hour and 15 minutes of pure mayhem with songs from all phases of their long career, including songs from the latest album and some songs from the first album as well. I am definitely going in another show if they stop by Winnipeg again (so please, please, please continue to return to this city!)

  • Love KSE/seats terrible

by SLAYERMOM on 2025-03-27Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

Enjoyed KSE. Seats were terrible. 2 days later and my knees and hips are still sore

  • Outstanding performance

by Zed on 2025-03-25Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

I have never understood the comparison between Howard and Jesse singing, they are both equally amazing and talented singers and Jesse proved me that at the concert but not only him was amazing but the whole band put an extraordinary show. I simply love this band

  • Awesome concert:)

  • An epic night!

by Dustin on 2025-03-25Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Had a great time! I was in from Edmonton for the show and the venue was great. The sound was clear and intense. Killswitch, Fit For A King and Kublai Khan TX crushed it. Hung out at the casino afterwards and met some great people. I'm kicking myself for not getting Jamie's #

  • Always a good time

  • Top 5 best concert yet!

by Ray on 2025-03-25Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

This was an amazing show. I have seen Killswitch Engage several times, but this was by far their best performance yet. The opening acts were absolutely epic. Right from the start Frozen Soul rocked the smaller crowd and it only got more intense as the night went on. Fit For a King was definitely a tough act to follow I'm sure but Kublai Khan seemed to do just fine as they created an insane mob out of the crowd, and everyone was ready and primed for Killswitch to finish off the night. Epic display of music and fan appreciation. Always love the venue at Grey Eagle. It was a night to remember.

  • Great concert, but not the best venue

by Kim on 2025-03-25Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

The venue was great, clean, great staff. Band was wicked. The actual stage and area were not good. The band was low down, meaning so many people couldn't see them. Absolutely no seating which is hard for some people. The screens were ok, but it wasn't fun to watch the whole concert through a screen instead of live infront of me. I suggest changing the stage to be higher so the bands can be seen. I also think it would be good to add some sort of seating.

  • KSE Never Disappoints!!!

by Sinderella on 2012-12-15The Opera House - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was the 2nd time I saw Killswitch Engage live, but, my first show at the Opera House. Both opening bands, Acara and Shadows Fall were absolutely amazing!! I hadn't heard of Acaro before this show, but, I am officially a fan now. KSE, was beyond great! They were so intense! Adam D is always entertaining, and, Jesse killed the vocals.
