KRISTOFFERSON WAS LOVELY!
by SHANDEBEL on 2010-11-02River Cree Resort & Casino - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5There is something so lovely about this man. He comes out with just his guitar and his songs - beautiful sweet songs that have stood the test of time. He is friendly, amusing, and gracious. There were no frills, no gimmicks, no back up - just the way I always thought this man's show would be, once I finally saw him in concert. He is not pretentious, and gives you all he has - straight from his heart, chalk full of soul. Although his career was mostly built on his song-writing capabilities, not his vocals, when he sings a song, every word can be heard clearly, and the listener can hear the poignancy in each syllable of every song. The audience sang along with the most popular of his songs, and gave an overwhelming response to the man himself. Most performers today do not bother giving an encore, and sometimes we have felt cheated. Absolutely not the case with Kristofferson. I would see him again in a flash, but now as far as I am concerned, my concert-going journey can be terminated - as I have finally seen the man whose songs I have loved since I was about 10 years old.
Wonderful
by flatland123 on 2010-11-02River Rock Casino Resort - RichmondRating: 4 out of 5I see Kris perform whenever he is in town. Each time his concert is great and listening to him sing the lyrics of the great songs he wrote is so magical. He is brilliant and love the fact that he lets us see his senior moments.

KRIS RAW and VERY REAL
by BeanDareDunDat on 2010-11-01River Cree Resort & Casino - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5Solo, no band, no fancy lights, just KRIS! The man played his songs (mistakes and all) He was real! We had seen him in St. Louis MO. April 09, this is him and all of us loved it! To some of the people he wasn't polished enough. These people do not know and are not true Kris fans. What really gets me is they wasted good tickets that real fans could have had, after all the show was sold out!!! Would have been nice to talk to him again, but at the River Cree Resort and Casino(Edmonton) concert you had to pay to see him after the show, "Meet and Greet" just to get an autograph (not impressed)! We did not know about the so called "Meet and Greet" and they asked us to leave! All in All the Man and his songs were great would not hesitate to go see him again. It would probably be another venue though!
Kris Kristofferson was Amazing!!!
by Deanbag on 2010-11-01River Rock Casino Resort - RichmondRating: 5 out of 5I grew up listening this man. I was singing the Silver Tongue when I was still in diapers. It was an amazing show. Hard to believe that this man is in his 70's, playing and singing so great for a man at his age. Glad I had the opportunity to see Kris Kristofferson. Only disappointment was they were not selling t-shirts.
Kris was amazing!!
by SSx2 on 2010-11-01River Rock Casino Resort - RichmondRating: 5 out of 5Better than I could have imagined! What a talent - great connection with the audience and sounded fantastic!

It was an awesome concert, such a relaxed atmosphere, and his voice is great...My husband has always been a big fan, and he was the one who got me listening to Kris..he played for almost two hours without taken a break..It was great, definitely would go back to see him again...

Kris Kristoffersen is an amazing talent which has not diminshed over the years. The River Rock is a good venue for him. The evening was intimate and personal. The acoustics were good. I found the lighting a bit difficult on the eyes.
Kris is still the man
by jimbobtodd on 2010-11-01River Cree Resort & Casino - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5Great show. He came out on stage on time with just his guitar and started to play. For an hour and a half he went from song to song. Doesn't have the voice of a 30 year old, but he is still the man. Would have loved to hear a few stories as well as the music. The crowd was also great, gave him all the respect he deserves.
Kris is the BEST!!!
by Pixie on 2010-11-01River Cree Resort & Casino - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5This show is so amazing in it’s simplicity it is just him and his guitar no opening act, the show is funny and heartfelt I have seen him twice now and will go every time he comes to Edmonton this is a can’t miss. If you have chance to see him go he is amazing and gives it his all. I love him a performer and you can see what a caring person he is from how he loves his audience. He signs song after song there is no waiting for your favorite song, and you do not wait hours for him to come on the ticket says 8pm he is on the stage playing at 8pm on the dot. This show was AMAZING! Please go see him.
classic songwriter
by howlinr on 2010-11-01River Rock Casino Resort - RichmondRating: 4 out of 5Kris did a solo performance that focused on his songwriting. He is not the greatest guitar player and he kind of apoligized for that. but his songs that have been covered by people from janis joplin to johnny cash and a host of others. he talked to the crowd and it was obvious he cared. the show really took me back to the old days.
Great songwriter
by LynnPrettyPonies on 2010-11-01River Cree Resort & Casino - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5Everyone knows some of Kris' songs. He was his usual charming self. Been listening to his songs all my life - he is one of my very favorite song writer/performers. Go see him if you get the chance.
great evening
by bluest on 2010-11-01River Rock Casino Resort - RichmondRating: 4 out of 5Kris's voice has aged (of course) but his humble ability to completely connect with the audience and create a feeling of sitting in your family living room watching a loved one preform, made for an unforgettable evening. Judging by the standing ovation and the excitement of everyone there my opinion was shared by all.
Kris Kristopherson was everything I expected
by loveart on 2010-11-01River Cree Resort & Casino - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5Kris performed solo and I was enthralled from the first song. Four of us attended and we were all captivated. His guitar playing and harpoon were excellent and his vocals, well he's Kris.......... This guy is seventy-four years old and played non-stop for and hour and three quarters. He played all of his oldies and a few newer, more politically motivated items. All wonderful.
Kris Kristofferson
by puckaroo on 2010-11-01River Rock Casino Resort - RichmondRating: 5 out of 5A heartwarming event. Lots of sentimental favourites and some interesting new ones. The voice started out a little tentative, then warmed up and gave the audience what they were looking for.
Silver tounged devil
by orienteshine on 2010-10-31River Rock Casino Resort - RichmondRating: 5 out of 5Kris put on an amazing show singing his timeless clasics.
Love Kris
by misshoneybunny on 2010-10-31River Rock Casino Resort - RichmondRating: 4 out of 5He is always such a deep, loving, intelligent human being. What a gift to put words together like him. Was every song perfect, no. But he would laugh at what he missed and he would touch your heart even more. He played past quitting time and i will be back the next time he is in Vancouver. We are seeing a legend.
Awe struck
