About

Lights is many things all at once: Singer. Songwriter. Producer. Multi-instrumentalist. Comic book author. DJ. Artist. She’s also unabashedly honest and unapologetically confident. Weaving in and out of alternative, indie, electronic, and dance, she makes manic pop irreverent of boundaries, yet reverent of truth. She speaks her heart musically and her mind lyrically. It’s why her shadow over alternative music and culture continues to grow with streams in the hundreds of millions and widespread critical acclaim. Over the course of career thus far, the Canada-born disruptor has garnered four JUNO Awards, including 2020’s “Dance Recording of the Year” for the platinum smash “Love Me” with Felix Cartal and “Pop Album of the Year” for her previous two albums, Skin&Earth and Little Machines. She has sold out tours on multiple continents and powered collaborations with Travis Barker, deadmau5, Kaskade, Steve Aoki, Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park, and more. Now, she captivates like never before, kickstarting a new era with single “Prodigal Daughter.”

  • Lights at Revelry

by Nic on 2025-05-13Revelry - KelownaRating: 5 out of 5

Ok, first time at Revelry Venue in Kelowna. What an excellent Venue! Beautiful, very well organized. Friendly easy going staff. No one seemed stressed, just perfectly on top of everything. The ticket scanning system was INOP and they were outside on the street with us EARLY checking everyone's tickets manually and clearing us so we could all go in on time and with no panic. Now for the main event, LIGHTS Absolutely stunning performance again, as usually. She never fails. Visuals were exciting and dynamic. Stage energy was electric and full of passion. Her commitment to her music and the presentation can be felt with every song. Lights ability to Rock Hard on stage, and then chit chat with the crowed is always a blast. Can't forget the brothers in the band. They were perfect too. A Lights Concert always delivers. Thanks We had a great time.

  • great show, fun venue, sorta crappy sound

by DJ on 2025-05-13Revelry - KelownaRating: 5 out of 5

Both performers were great. The venue had a very cool vibe. The sound system was pretty crappy: when the artists spoke to the crowd, I couldn't understand 80%+ of what was said. Everything was very mumbley sounding.

  • high energy, great setlist

Lights was so sweet and brought a lot of energy to the stage. I love that she respects old and new fans alike, playing the hits from 2009-2014 while also performing new songs from A6. I had so much fun!

  • Wow! Impressive.

by Alex on 2023-02-26Bronson Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

Lights is definitely one of the best Popstar in Canada, next to Marie Mai, Charlotte Cardin and others. Her energy is contagious. Her catalog is full of timeless hits. She's playing instruments live and does song every song perfectly keeping the crowd so entertained. She should do a another show in Ottawa I'll definitely go

  • SO. MUCH. FUN!!

by oblivioncat on 2023-02-21Bridgeworks - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

Lights killed it yet again! Every show I’ve gone to she slays BUT this show was honestly dope! First off it’d been years since she played Hamilton so it was enjoyable being able to see her in my hometown. Second, the venue was smaller capacity wise but that’s what made this show so cool and special. It felt intimate and you could see her clear as day from the back. She put on such an amazing show and I’ll never get tired of hearing all the PEP songs they’re so good and seeing/hearing her perform them live is a whole other level. ❤️💙💛

  • Great concert !

by matt on 2023-02-20Bronson Centre - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

Great concert as always, she's always great with the crowd and gets better everytime! Was definitely one of the best Ottawa concerts i've been to, the crowd wasn't totally boring like usual, i came out of it with ringing eardrums ! The only downside was that it was my first time at bronson centre, and this place is horrible. terrible planning, direction and crowd control, the whole crowd was great given the circumstance but it's like they haven't had a concert there before extremely unprepared.
