I wasn't sure what to expect knowing most of the band are not original members. But they definitely impressed & did not let me down. They played all the songs I wanted to hear & the Free Bird encore blew my mind. If you're a fan, I would definitely recommend checking out this show.

The concert was great. Great seats, good venue. Really enjoyed it.

  • Lynyrd Skynyrd- Still rocks the place!! Love it

by SeaninBrampton on 2015-03-30Casino Rama - RamaRating: 5 out of 5

Lynyrd Skynyrd is really an amazing concert to see, and if you are like me, quite emotional to witness. Growing up with these songs, knowing about the plane crash, seeing an actual survivor of that crash live, and playing like he does, seeing Ricky shred up Freebird!! Just love it!!!! Casino Rama folks need to get out of their seats more though! It would make it so much better. We never sat down once. Loved it. Loved it. Loved it. Loved it. Loved it. Loved it. Loved it. Loved it.

My wife and I attended our first concert together, on our wedding anniversary, to see my favourite band, Lynyrd Skynyrd. The band was really tight and they did all the songs I expected to hear. great acoustics in the Casino Rama venue too. Its also nice to have an adjoing hotel to stay at, don't have to brave the elements!

  • This brought back a lot of Memories

    by hp1234 on 2015-03-30Casino Rama - RamaRating: 5 out of 5

Great concert, good light show, awesome connection with the audience. These were a gift from a friend who suddenly could not go and are / were so well appreciated. At times, I felt really OLD for the memories they brought back > younger days with no worries full of hopes and dreams

  • It was like time travel

by Anonymous on 2015-03-30Casino Rama - RamaRating: 4 out of 5

Had a great time and the band was on their game. It was amazing how they sounded just like album cuts from 35 years ago. It was a little too loud for me. My ears were sore for 2 days.

  • Southern rock at it's finest

by Anonymous on 2015-03-30Casino Rama - RamaRating: 4 out of 5

I thoroughly enjoyed the performance, however I did have some issues with the venue. The sound mix was not the best I've heard for Casino Rama. It was almost distracting and did drop my enjoyment of the evening. Lynyrd Skynyrd had all the gusto of old-time Southern rock. Full throttle and having a blast. Almost reverent at times. Would I recommend seeing them? You bet...especially if you value the classic nostalgic rock.

  • L.S. continues to deliver

by bluebike on 2015-03-30Casino Rama - RamaRating: 5 out of 5

L.S. is the most audience engaging band I have ever seen. They are constantly giving 100% to ensure that the crowd is with them, singing, moving and having a great time. The concert went by so quickly we were surprised when it ended...............and yet, no breaks, etc. This is a group that gives and we appreciate their energy and music. 40 years and still going strong...... Free Bird was their finale and they had the full crowd at Rama on their feet, singing and waving............thank you for an amazingly wonderful show.1

Classic Southern rock. The band was awesome and I could sing along to every song but one that I had not heard for years. Mandolin and acoustic guitar was a nice touch as well on some songs.

  • Skynyrd delivered

    by Spinner2 on 2015-03-30Casino Rama - RamaRating: 4 out of 5

Lynyrd Skynyrd at Rama was an amazing show. Stevie VanZant connected with the crowd from the time he got on stage. The band was tight and looked like they were having fun. A great performance to a full house.

  • Yeah for Gary Rossington!

by Ramses on 2015-03-30Casino Rama - RamaRating: 4 out of 5

Glad he was there, the one original band member, otherwise only a cover band!

  • Surprisingly fantastic

by Canuckerie on 2015-03-29The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor, ONRating: 5 out of 5

I was expecting a decent show when I attended this concert but I must say I was blown away by how great the band sounded. Johnny Van Zant's vocals would make his late brother very proud. Gary Rossington, original co-founder of the band, ripped it up on lead guitar as did Rickey Medlocke, of Blackfoot and early Skynyrd fame, when called upon. Johnny kept the crowd going and with the very capable supporting cast of musicians, it made for a very fun show.

  • Great show
