ZZTop were incredible, we loved them better than the main attraction. What a treat it was!!!
I was disappointed with the sound quality and volume. I feel the sound would have been better if reduced a few decibels. My ears were ringing for 24 hours afterwards and we were in the 400 section.
Great line up from start to finish big build up to the closing act .
Awesome show! Not my first time seeing them, not my first time getting rocked - such a great time! Crowd was good too, not many fights; a sign of maturity.
What a pleasant surprise...beautiful evening and lots to walk around a look at....4 bands in one night. I would get better seating next time however was pleased with the production and the show.
Amazingly Intimate and Over the top - WABAM!! I went not really knowing them or their songs -odd right?! But totally a fan on departure. Some times life gets in the way of the really good stuff I guess
ZZ top was great...full of energy and showmanship; all be it that the sound was not great. The lawn area was way oversold, crowded and thick with smoke of all sorts....not that this was not to be expected but it was certainly worse than anticipated and not enforced by security at all. Skynard was disappointing with too much American patriotism for me. They tried to do a Canada balancing act but it was too over the top. Also too much homage to past band members. Skynard Nation was cheesy...overall would not go to see this show again nor recommend it.....Free Bird the only worthwhile part of the show. You could feel the crowds energy deplete during the LS portion of the show...too bad.
The show was great with some excellent southern rock bands. The set lists were excellent, with the bands playing the song you would want to hear. Problem was, the sound was not good. Way too loud in our section, making it difficult to listen or hear any individual tones. Some of the guitar solos were lost or totally muddled. The engineers need to work on this - in today's age and technology, there is no excuse for poor sound that hides behind sheer volume.
What a treat it was seeing them all perform! <3 <3
This was a great concert! There were 4 groups. The 1st was an unknown band, they were good but very loud. 38 special and ZZ TOP were also very good and I found them also unnecessarily too loud. Skynryd was fantastic, they were loud but not so loud as the other. For the other I had to get ear plugs and I noticed a lot of people had them, but Skynryd was not as screechy. They were fabulous. 38 special and ZZ Top were also excellent. I had never seen any of these groups and very happy that I did. The venue is fantastic!!! We were under cover in the 300 section, but it was a beautiful evening. Food and beer/wine are not cheap, but that's the same at any concert. Don't miss it!
The band was so amazing! Their voices are so strong. It was very emotional when old footage was on screen of the band members lost with their names and candles. Rock on!
What a great show. I can't believe I got to see them!! They sounded great.
5 awesome hours of fantastic tunes. What a treat to see 4 great bands.
the event was wonderful. I'm a big fan of Lynyrd Skynyrd was the best birthday present I could win. It was the most wonderful day of my life.
4 bands all good Excellent Deal. Set on time which is important
Excellent concert!!! Entertaining from start to finish. The crowd was on their feet from the second ZZ Top hit the stage until the finale with Free Bird.
Lynyrd Skynyrd - TORONTO Aug. 11/18 UNBELIEVABLE lineup Blackfoot, 38 Special, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd WHAT A NIGHT!!
I was at the show at the Budweiser Stage. It was a great night! I especially loved ZZ Top. I had always wanted to see them and they didn't disappoint. Every song was absolutely amazing. This was a good ol rock n roll show!
Awesome show! Great value for the money with 4 acts performing!
Skynryd, ZZ Top and 38 Special were fantastic. Great seeing just 1 of these but all 3 were great. Bud Stage on a Saturday night is a nightmare still. No parking. No transit. A freaking mess.
