No stranger to fronting Queen projects, Marc Martel was handpicked by Roger Taylor and Brian May to front their Queen Extravaganza — the official Queen tribute — since 2012.
Although he’s toured widely and is still involved with the Queen Extravaganza, Martel launched The Ultimate Queen Celebration project in March 2017.
“I get a little more artistic freedom in this show,” Martel said. “I feel like I have a good feel for how Freddy interpreted the music. Later in life, he branched out and did his own things, a few covers and some opera. I’ll pick a couple of songs that I wish Freddy recorded in his lifetime and perform them along with the songs that these legendary artists made famous including ‘Radio Gaga,’ ‘Tie Your Mother Down,’ ‘Fat Bottomed Girls,’ ‘Killer Queen,’ ‘Somebody to Love,’ ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and many more.”

Marc is humble and funny and sounds SO MUCH LIKE FREDDIE... he is a gift to this world after we lost such an amazing talent in Mercury. They did every song I wanted to hear including a few unexpected. He gives perfect tribute to this amazing band called Queen and the very, very special music they created together. I will absolutely go to any concert they put on again!

Marcs talent on vocals, piano, guitar, vocal, busting out dance moves oh and did I mention...VOCALS! Wow. The band as a whole absolutely nails the Queen experience. One Vision of Queen is the best in the world. Hands down.
