If you've enjoyed MK's solo career (like me), you'll really like it. He hit (I believe) one song from every one of the solo albums, and chose fairly distinctive ones. The setlist is vastly sped up from the previous incarnation of the 2015 tour. The band is incredibly talented, their showcases were woven in the show very carefully.
If you're a casual fan of the radio Dire Straits songs and just want to hear them, as a few of the reviewers say, you'll probably be disappointed, though the ones that were performed (30-40% of the show) were great.
The show starts pretty much 10 minutes after the time on your ticket without an opener. MK has never been the showman of the century, and stands basically still on the stage and takes his time. Only a bit of banter. The isn't entirely age as some imply: if you listen closely on the 80s/90s DS live alums, you'll actually hear people in the crowdyelling for him to go faster!
Sony Centre for the Performing Arts had the acoustics down pat, every instrument and vocal was crystal clear. Only complaint was that it could have been a touch louder.
