Great tunes, super talented band. The Fabulous Superlatives are just that. First class casino type entertainment. Even though it shows, that they have done this act a thousand times, I would see them again. Not fresh, not stale, a bit worn at the edges. No doubt, Marty has charisma Dancing girl from the Maverick's show was up front, but no dancing..too bad
My wife and I attended Marty's concert last Friday in Hamilton and were totally amazed at the level of talent and musical variety that Marty and his band offered up; with everyone singing and switching instruments. We've seen a lot of major rock and country artists in concert and Marty not only impressed with his renowned musicianship on the guitar and mandolin, but also as a bandleader who graciously "stepped into the shadows" to allow his sidemen to steal the spotlight on multiple occasions. We can't wait until he comes back to the area again!
The entire evening was intimate and very entertaining! The fans interacted a lot and certainly appreciated the autograph signing after the show! I would see him again in a heartbeat.
Marty was just awesome. We have wanted to see him for a long long time and were not disappointed. If he comes back our hope is that he would come to Casino Ramma in Orillia. He would have no problem filling every seat and more there. Thank you for bringing him to Canada.
Great ,entertaining show that started RIGHT ON TIME as they should but most do not. It was a non stop musical memory happening by 2 great performers.
Awesome show. Great entertainers. I would recommend the show to anyone
awesome concert, Marty Stuart and band are the greatest
One of the most enjoyable concerts we have experienced.
The show was great and Jane dear girls were great too. The weather was warm and pleasent.Did not have to wait long for either band all on time.Seat were very soft to sit on for the concert.I would go again to see thes guys perform again and again.
Marty and his band rocks, I enjoyed all the songs played. However hearing under the B 11, is just annoying. AAA for Marty, if you ever get the chance go and see him. DDD for McPhillips Station.
I would have liked a little less of the gospel stuff and more of the old songs. Also would have liked to hear the song This one's gonna hurt you for a long long time but still a good show. I did like the last time better but I would still go again.
It was very country .... lots of hillbilly music, ... great voices and musicans, ..
I thoroughly enjoyed the concert. I'm a guitar player so my main interest was in seeing Marty and Kenny Vaughn play their instruments. I love classic country and Marty is a standard bearer. The band (The Fabulous Superlatives) were one tight unit. I didn't like the Connie Smith segment as much as it took the momentum of the show away for a few songs. I am a huge fan and will see them again when they come through.
have seen hi 3 times amd will go again and agin to see him......
Amazing country and bluegrass music. Very laid back and entertaining. All the entertainers donate their time, and the profits go to several charities. I only went because seeing Dolly Parton was on my bucket list, but I have a new respect for Marty Stuart. He is a talented musician and a great host. I loved seeing Ricky Skaggs, Connie Smith and Doug Kershaw, too. This was my first time at a concert in the Ryman and it was amazing! It was my first time, and now I know why people bring or buy the Ryman seat cushions. If you don't your butt will get sore!! This concert was over 4 hours long.
Love to see the support that Marty gives to the community - and the new up and coming members to the Country Music Entertainment world.
I seen Marty in concert almost 20 years ago in BC when he was on tour with Pam Tillis and he was great then. Other than aging a bit I would have to say nothing has changed, he still puts on a great concert. I really enjoyed myself. Thanks Marty!
was truly a awasome show...enjoyed every moment of it.
I enjoyed Marty Stuart from start to end. He is an incredible entertainer. I drove two hours just to see him & I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
