It was supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!! I will recommend it to all my friends and for sure come back again with my mom.
Actors/actresses were excellent, as was the quality of singing by each. The show made one loose themselves and feel like a kid again! Would definitely recommend it to both children and adults!
Awesome for kids and ads! Seats and cast were perfect
We absolutely loved the show! (included an 8-year-old, 16-year-old + Mom) It couldn't have been any more entertaining and enjoyable for all ages!
It was awesome. Different from the movie but very fun.
The show was great but it seemed like the cast was playing pranks on each other. Marry poppins had a big black make up spot on her face for a little bit of the show and one of the other guys had some on his forehead when he wiped his fingers on it. The rest of the show was amazing though. The singing was awesome and so was the dancing. I would totally recommend it to anyone.
Mary Poppins was one of the best broadway plays that I have ever seen. The acting was incredible, the stage design was unbelievable and the overall performance was one to remember forever!
Wonderful show! Hard act to follow (imagine...following in Julie Andrew's shoes!). But they were successful.
took the whole family and enjoyed every minute... Even our six year old was claping through the entire concert...
Show was delightful & highly recommended for kids. Any age over 6 would love it. The actors/performers were all superb.
For a Broadway show, it was a good, fun, and high energy show. Have to say though that Steffanie Leigh was a bit stiff, and that constant grin and eye batting look of hers gets a little tiresome after the first 10 minutes. No Julie Andrews, that's for sure. Rest of the cast was very good.
I have enjoyed Broadway musicals for 45 years. This ranks very high up on my list of favorites. The story is excellent, being both contemporary and relevant - timeless! I loved the new songs, the great costumes, and the Broadway debuts of actors we will likely be seeing for years to come. What a great evening! Thanks for being a great memory maker.
We had a great time at Mary Poppins. Our six year old loved everything about the performance.
It was probably one of the best live musical shows I have seen. Certainly in the top 3 for me. Highly recommend for anyone - any age.
Everything we expected...and then so much more. The Staging was incredible. We were in wonder the entire show. FANTASTIC!!!
I went with my family, it was the first Broadway show for my two children. They absolutely loved it!! The costumes, sets, special effects and singing were all impressive. I cried when Mary Poppins flew up and was two feet away from me.
I took my 9-year-old niece to see this an we both had an amazing time. It had all the key elements from the Mary Poppins story with a fun and colourful twist to it. She was enchanted and I took a trip down memory lane. It's a great family event and fun for all ages.
In not recommending this to a friend I mean other old cranky white guys. Children of a certain age are another matter. Highly recommended to them. I am a fan of Julian Fellowes - writer of the book for this musical- (as opposed to the writer of the Mary Poppins books - P.L. Travers) and was disappointed that he didn't fulfill his mandate of family entertainment. Disney's mission has always been to charm the adults while at the same time as serving the kids a confection. Perhaps it was the fault of the director. The cast is extremely talented and I am certain could perform whatever was asked of them. The first act was impossibly twee. The appearance of our villian helped to remove the cloying sweetness by the second act. Our Bert - Gavin Lee in this production beat the pants off of Dick Van Dyke's peformance. This fellow never lost his light comedic touch to "a children's play". I hope to see him in something else one day.
Singing and acting was amazing but would have liked to see more of the storyline.
