I thought he did an amazing job. He was genuinely surprized at all of the love that he crowd was giving him. I didn't give him five stars because he was losing his voice and I really wanted him to belt it out and kill some songs but he wasnt able to. Overall, I really enjoyed the show and would definitely recommend it to any maxwell fan!

Even with a hoarse voice, Maxwell still belted it out! Songs from 8 years ago and from his recent album were equally exciting and he gave mad love to T.O. Excellent concert, beautiful lighting/backgrounds, loved, loved, loved. Common definitely set the stage beforehand throwing us some old-school hip hop and bringing us back to the 90's, which most Maxwell fans love!

Unforgettable concert!! Maxwell was amazing to watch live! Listening to Mawell perform "Fortunate" made the evening!!

Maxwell has made a huge move forward in his stage production. His band was amazing. Even though his voice was hoarse, he was smooth and sexy as ever. I loved every minute of the show and his music. Can't wait till he comes to Toronto again

This was an awesome event!!!!! Even with Maxwell slowly loosing his voice he still rocked the house and sang his heart out and made it the best he could. Loved every minute of it!!!! I would see him again anyday!!!! Common opened the show n did an amazing job loved me some him!!!!!

I had heard that Maxwell put on a great show and he did not disappoint! He is personable, funny and honest with his crowd which endears him to them. The staging and lighting were impeccable. The visual show was stunning and appealing. There were some sound issues in which the back up singers and sometimes Maxwell himself could not be heard over the music. This was the first show of the tour so I expect they will be fixing that. Toronto was honoured to be his first city and he was very grateful for the love he received from us. The full band including horns and amazing back up singers were the icing on the cake. It is a great concert for couples and singles. I highly recommend it. Both opening acts in the persons of Common and Lisette Michelle were fabulous. They got the crowd excited and were excellent performers. Wonderful complements for Maxwell. I will never forget this classy concert!

It was well worth the wait! He was amazing!! His first stop was Toronto, we all love him and his music!

Hi,i must say Mawell's performance was exceptional,however the crew responsible for the audio was not up to par,75% of the time the singing was not clear due to the fact that the audio system was not tuned properly,the band superseded the vocals largely,Maxwell is an extremley exceptional artist,anyone who appreciates music would understand the issues with the audio,he spoke of how his voice was hoarse,maybe due to him having to sing above his normal because of the audio issues,i am disapointed that the show being held in such an established venue could not sound better,i must say though,because Maxwell is who he is,we still had an ausome night!

Maxwell truly is timeless. Show was amazing, lots of energy! His voice was a little hoarse last night but it did not take away the absolute joy just to be around his music.

Although the show started a little late, it was fantastic. Even after all these years, Maxwell still knows how to put on a show and get the crowd on its feet. Well worth the money!

From the beginning to the end, Maxwell poured every ounce of him(sexy)self into his performance. He is the epitome of what a performer is - committed to himself, his audience and his band. It was magical.....I am still floating in Maxwell heaven.

Common opened up with an amazing set. His DJ was so smooth. Maxwell was amazing! Even with a horse voice he was able to sound amazing. Great crowd participation. The band was equally as unforgettable. Great back-drops and all the classics made it in to his play list. He even sampled a new song from the upcoming album. Tdot showed mad love and Maxwell was visible moved by the love we gave. Worth ever penny!

The Best Concert I have been been to in a while. Christte Michelle can really sing. Common was crazy with the freestyle. Mr. Maxwell put on a great show. He stage control and ability to touch base with his audience is second to none. These were real artists with a real passion for music and their fans. As Maxwell said, "You all spend your hard earned money to be here". I can dig that type of attitude.

He was losing his voice, but he turned it out just the same. A consumate artist and a must see everytime.

Outstanding show. Maxwell and his band bought a little class to the ACC with a throw back to 1970's soul. The band was tight and Maxwell, despite being hoarse, was outstanding. After years away, he is still at the top of this game. One of my best concerts!!! Common, who opened, was also amazing! Only wished he could have performed a bit longer.

Its was one of the classiest presentation Maxwell has ever put on, The black and white screens the rising and falling floors. Big up Maxwell was pushing through despite everything. Look forward to the next one and the free performance in Dundas square.

He is by far the sexiest performer i have ever seen. His moves are so smooth and he is very engaging with the audience. His voice however was very strained and hoarse. He could not get all of the notes and the sound system was terrible - not his fault i am sure. He kept on fidgeting with his earpiece. However his presence is so alluring and mesmerizing that it didn't matter. He is beautiful and sexy beyond words.

Maxwell was amazing. The lighting, the music, the performance. It's like he never left. He's still got his 'A' game. He was sexy, suave, humble....he was Maxwell!

I attended the Maxwell Blacksummer's Nite Tour.The Concert was Amazing!It was worth every penny spent.Maxwell performed Tremendously even though he had a Hoarse throat.The crowd embraced him the different scenes from the stage was extremly different.I LOVE MAXWELL Execellent Show!!!

Every performance was amazing and that was just the opening act. Michele Chrisette has the voice of an Angel, Common has the knowledge and lyrical skills of a Prophet . Maxwell is a Saint. The concert was a spiritual awakening of music with meaning and feeling. To say the least Maxwell tore it up.
