Metallica was formed by drummer Lars Ulrich and singer/guitarist James Hetfield in Los Angeles in 1981; since then, their astonishing career milestones include winning eight Grammys and selling over 125 million albums worldwide, including the critically-acclaimed Master of Puppets (1986), often cited as one of the most important metal albums in history. The venue had great vibes, the weather was great, the crowd was into it, the sound was awesome, the pyro was great. Overall, deadly show and would love to see another some day! WOW!

Their was a good balance of new songs with lots of the classics being played. Avenged really didn't fit into the show well, but provided a necessary break period to go get beers. Gojira was great and spot on, Avenged should've went on before them realistically.
