One of the best shows I have seen. Loved the jam session when they all came back on stage and performed together.

by Payload on 2014-09-04The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorI'm Toto's #1 fan....I've seen them everytime they can to the Detroit area...the venue and sound was great....I'm not a huge Michael McDonald fan, but show was good and how the Toto guys came out at the end was awesome.

by Anonymous on 2014-09-03The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorExcellent show! Michael McDonald met all of our expectations. Cool and smooth sound. I won't miss it if he's back in town again. The only problem is the acoustics of the venue. It's a bit poor, but the show had such an appeal that I was able to ignore it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Michael McDonald & Toto - AMAZING!!
by Rmmm on 2014-09-03The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorWhat an incredible concert! - It's all about the music, the vocals, the synergy of the band....and they've got it all! When you are sitting at a concert, close your eyes and the sound you hear is as if you are listening to the recording, I am in heaven. What an incredible pairing of these two talents. The concert was incredible, even had a Stevie Wonder jam session at the end! - Couldn't ask for anything better, i look forward to your next event! Thank you for such a memorable concert!
Rating: 2 out of 5 Toto and Michael McDonald
by Saddness on 2014-09-03The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorToto was good, but seriously, does every song have to have an overextended guitar riff!! Michael McDonalds and his background singers vocals/lyrics were drown out by the band. Had a very difficult time understanding the lyrics. Overall, not as good as what I was so excited to go and see and hear. But this is just one persons opinion.
Rating: 3 out of 5 A Tough Night
by Totofan on 2014-08-11The Tulalip Amphitheatre - Marysville, WashingtonPretty much from the start it was apparent that something was up with Michael's voice, like a cold or maybe he swallowed a bug or something. I have seen him before and know just how great he is and - NO - he's not too old or washed up. It was simply a bad night though he hung in there as best he could, acknowledged his 'problem' and the band filled in great. The audience felt as bad for him as he did for us, at least Toto rocked the house.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Toto was amazing!
by Seahawk on 2014-08-06The Tulalip Amphitheatre - TulalipThe toto portion of the concert was excellent! First rate musicians and solid vocals. Cranked out hit after hit from Toto's repertoire. Very enjoyable! Michael McDonald had a cold, so he really struggled with the vocals, with his voice cutting out on most songs. Being a consummate professional though, he laboured on through his set.
Rating: 4 out of 5 The Pointer Sisters rocked the house!!!
by Kenne57 on 2014-06-25CenturyLink Center Omaha - OmahaAs a longtime fan of the Night of the Proms in Europe, and having moved to Canada 8 years ago, we just couldn't miss this event in Omaha, Nebraska. The combination of classical and contemporary is just amazing and the talent didn't disappoint : the Pointer Sisters rocked the house, Kenny Logins and Michael McDonald are icons in the music business, the revival of my twenties with Chic...and the musical highlights of Natalie Choquette were a treat! I would recommend this event to everyone, young and old. It's unique and brings music of all genres to all ages. As John Miles puts it: Music was my first love and it will be my last!

Rating: 2 out of 5by Anonymous on 2014-04-09Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - Coquitlam Nice to hear the familiar songs, but too bad we had just been to see Chicago. Was disappointed that Michael's show was so short in comparison to Chicago's!

Rating: 5 out of 5 Unreal
by Mjkdrummer on 2014-04-08Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamShow was wonderful, it was so nice to hear that classic voice. Even to see him, knowing that he wrote and sang so many hits, wow! It was an honor and pleasure, I will so see him again. It was also nice that his voice was still so great, especially reaching those high notes, a lot of singers that have been around this long tend to loose those notes, makes all the difference! And the sound was awesome, totally perfect, probably the best I heard. I'm thinking it's a combo of the theatre but also his sound guy, I went up and shook his hand, probably doesn't happen much...
Rating: 2 out of 5 Michael was not enthusiastic at all
by alomar on 2014-04-07Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamI was pretty disappointed in the concert. Michael was not very enthusiastic and started out by mentioning they had just arrived 30 minutes before the concert. Although I can appreciate that arriving late due to flights is not fun, he is a seasoned artist . I am sure this is not the first time this has happened to him. The crowd was very enthusiastic and he just did not respond to their energy. We paid almost $100 for our tickets. I wouldn't do it again. That is too expensive for an aging artist. Also was disappointed in his choice of songs.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Michael McDonald show was fabulous
by OldMichaelfan on 2014-04-07Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamMichael and his band put on his usual wonderful show. Lots of old favourites bringing back fond memories. His band continues to enhance his wonderful songs...his lady singer has a wonderful voice as do others in band. Have seen him many times, with Doobie Brothers, Dukes of September and with his own musicians. He continues to give performances that keep us singing all the way home. Thanks Michael
