Industrial metal pioneers Ministry bring their synth pop heavy repertoire to Download 2020. Fourteen studio albums since their inception in 1981, including their seminal LPs Twitch, The Land Of Rape and Honey and The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste and their mainstream breakthrough LP Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and The Way to Suck Eggs, have cemented Ministry as one of the most consistent prolific heavy artists of modern times. With a new line up, incredibly full sound, and some might say a return to the roots of Ministry, the band is prepared to release a record that is socially relevant and sonically effective.
Darkcell are one of Australia's fastest rising acts and will open for Ministry in their hometown. Formed in Brisbane in 2012, the band has performed over 220 shows to date. Packing stadium level hooks and a loud, abrasive and industrial rock sound, they have been tagged as a ‘modern day Kiss’. Larger than life stage show, party vibes and dance grooves give a fun atmosphere and keep fans coming back for more.

This was my first time seeing Ministry, as well as both openers - the ageless Gary Numan and fellow early industrial pioneer Front Line Assembly. Each act brought their own sound to the show, and all 3 were great! Al Jorgensen looked like he was still having the time of his life up there so kudos to him after all these years!
Event was incredible! Commodore staff were incredible (my sister and i are both disabled) and accommodated us right at entry to the moment we left. All 3 acts were amazing!!!!! I had tickets to see Gary Numan last year but couldn't attend because I had a massive heart attack. It was as if I was transported back in time! Ministry was probably the loudest and I have ever seen live. Lol. My ears were ringing 2 days after the event. This event was very affordable and man did I get my money's worth. Thank you to the musicians, support staff and venue staff for one of the best nights my sister and I had in many years! If they come back, I would definitely see them again!
The Godfathers of Industrial Metal never disappoint. The songs of the new album were excellent. The older stuff still resonates to this day. Great show, eh!
Ministry is one of my prefered bands.I never thought that one day I'll be able to see them in real. The show was unforgettable. I loved also the band that opened for Ministry: The God Bombs THANK YOU MINISTRY for your music. Don't ever change, I love you guys
I came from Ontario through a storm and it was so worth it. I would drive through the worst anything to see them again! Best I have ever seen live! Best concert I have ever seen! And I have seen many.
Way too loud, opening act canceled, typical over hyped resurrection show which didn’t deliver, sorry Al
People were great! Singer was just amazing and really enjoyed my first mosh pitt :D
