  • Great but…

by Vroom on 2024-09-18GMC Stadium - CalgaryRating: 3 out of 5

It was exciting for spurts and dull for longer moments. I understand the necessity for cars to set up, break down, etc, but feel more could have been done between the 30 second wheelies to fill those gaps. The motorcycle tricks for example were cool and helped spice things up but not enough to not have us look at the clock and wondering when we could leave.

  • Monster jam 10/10 pit pass 1/10

by Amanda on 2024-09-18GMC Stadium - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

Monster jam as always was amazing such a great show, however don’t buy the pit pass. They cut the lines and we didn’t get to see any of the drivers , super frustrating when that was the whole point

  • Boring show

by Albertan on 2024-09-18GMC Stadium - CalgaryRating: 2 out of 5

Never thought I could be bored at a monster truck rally, but I was. I know the Calgary venue is limited in its size, but the actual truck driving was only 30-40 minutes total across the 4 events. Wasn't worth the price of admission.

  • Bring them back

by Yarn on 2024-09-17GMC Stadium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

This was a fantastic show. My family and I loved every minute of it. The roar of the engines that was felt in your chest, the fun rivalry between the drivers, the unity to get each truck back on the track. You gotta bring them back next year!

  • Great show awful hosts

by Phill on 2024-09-17GMC Stadium - CalgaryRating: 2 out of 5

Monster jam was fantastic. I cant fault them at all for the show they put on. However the stampede grounds should be offering refunds to all the people who missed the start of the show due to the lack of crowd control. I got in line to go through the doors at 2:15pm. Show started at 3pm. By the time I got in inside the venue I had missed the first 4 races, and the driver introductions. The venue staff was a joke. Nothing more. Nothing less. A joke

Had an amazing time wish the show was longer. Beers were 12 bucks each so super expensive but all together had such an amazing time

  • Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!

by Claudia on 2024-09-17GMC Stadium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Absolute awesome show that kept us on the edge of our seats the whole time. The kids loved the pit show and meeting all the drivers. Great memories made.

  • Calgary monster jam

by Cory on 2024-09-17GMC Stadium - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

I recently took the hole family to the monster jam at the stampede centre in Calgary it was an awesome experience for my children, not as I remeber it from seeing it as a child in Toronto the overall track seemed smaller but still very entertaining, the concession lines at the venue were extremely long waits and prices were a tad steep but fair as it was in a bigger city, if you are looking to go to a monster jam I recommend it maybe just choose a different venue next time will more than likely be an enclosed one so the trucks sound and feel louder. Overall experience was good

  • Great family fun

by Layla on 2024-09-17GMC Stadium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

We had a wonderful time at the Monster Jam. The pit pass was worth the extra $20 a ticket to see the monster trucks up close and for our kids to get a Mohawk and monster truck tattoos. Event was well run and we all had fun.

  • Monster Jam

by Cathy on 2024-09-17GMC Stadium - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

It was fun. I felt the arena was too small and we weren't able to see the trucks maximize their full potential. Would have loved to see some tricks that they perform at other arenas. Would still go again!

  • Had fun but.....

by Cher on 2024-09-17GMC Stadium - CalgaryRating: 3 out of 5

Show was great except for the frequent breakdowns of the trucks. Parking was HORRIBLE. Very slow just to get in to the park. I had given myself plenty of time to get there but wound up being 1/2 hour late for the performance. My grandsons loved it, but line ups etc were ridiculous. Maybe a warning to be extra early would have helped??

  • Parking nightmare

by Moo on 2024-09-17GMC Stadium - CalgaryRating: 1 out of 5

Parking was the worst I have ever seen,, we missed half of the show in gridlock clearly the parking coordinators did not have any idea how to do what they were doing. There is lots and lots and lots of parking at that venue and yet we slowly went on the most ridiculous wild goose chase rather than just being funneled through to areas that had lots of parking, the show itself was great but missing half of it to deal with that nightmare was ridiculous. At the event and while walking to the event once we finally got parked I talked to several other people all had the same thoughts, the venue was directly next to another venue that is 10 times the size and has parking I get that there's some congestion but it shouldn't have been like this other events that people have attended have never been that nightmarish I have attended other events and not had it be that nightmarish.

  • Good Time

by JB on 2024-07-26Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

My family loves Monster Jam. We love the atmosphere, the entertainment and overall feel. This is our 3rd year in a row attending. Rogers however is not the appropriate venue. The first year we attended Monster Jam it was at Commonwealth which I feel is a better venue for this particular show. The Rogers arena is significantly smaller making it impossible for trucks to preform at their fullest potential. There is no space for trucks to preform flips and other larger stunts to be preformed. As well the merchandise booth this time around was not properly roped off or monitored and while waiting in line we had multiple people cut the line and walk directly to the front skipping not only us but multiple families that had been in line for 15+ minutes.

  • Venue too small

by MamaBear on 2024-07-21Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

Monster Jam itself is fun to watch. This year is was shorter, ended about a half hour early as a couple tucks couldn't compete, more trucks are needed in general though! But the biggie is the venue sucks. It's too small and should never have been moved to Rogers Place. Commonwealth Stadium was so much better!

  • Overall enjoyable

by RM on 2024-07-18Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

The venue was too small for this. Past years have been at the outdoor stadium the trucks had more room to drive around and was a better show. It helps with the loud noise also to be outdoors. Not my favourite choice for venue but the show was still great.

  • Not as great as Commonwealth

by MonsterJam on 2024-07-18Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

Second time doing this show. The first one was at the Commonwealth stadium and was really good. Roger’s Place is too small of a venue for these trucks to really do anything impressive (ie jumps, backflips). Will do the show again but only if it’s at a bigger venue.

  • Great time for a first event

by BAM on 2024-07-17Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

For a first timer attending Monster Jam, it was amazing! Brought my 14yr old with me and he was beyond excited and he was left breathless. Just wish it was an outdoor event with a bigger stadium for more room, more tricks/stunts. Otherwise everything was amazing in my books.

  • Needs Improvement

by JJKanyo on 2024-07-17Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 2 out of 5

Monster Jam Edmonton was a true let down. No room for trucks to even do anything worth while. Best part was 2 wheel contest cause it did not need anymore room to do a small nose stand. Halftime show of dirt bikes was a let down, only 4 bikes competed and was short. This event needs to be an outdoor event. Roger’s place is not big enough to host this event. Will not be buying tickets again.

  • Monster Jam at Roger’s Place Edmonton On Sun Jul 14, 2024

by Jojo on 2024-07-17Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Overall, a lovely experience; exceeded my expectations. The event started on time, the lineup of drivers and riders was great. They’re obviously versed in their areas. They kept the crowd entertained with well-calculated, but risky stunts. I was at the edge of my seat throughout the show. The emcee did exceptionally well; she was engaging, spoke fluently, wasn’t overly chatty (didn’t fill every silent moment with chatter, a pet-peeve of mine). As was expected, the event was very loud but earplugs were available at customer service should you require them. I had reservations about the venue as there were mixed reviews online. In retrospect, I did not need to worry. The space was adequate, the facilities were clean, and the staff knowledge and friendly. I will be recommending the event to family and friends.

  • Alright

by Alisa on 2024-07-17Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

First time, I belive it was to small of a venue for this kind of show. They could not rely go all out. But over all it wasn't so bad
