  • Good show, tiny venue

by Kyle on 2023-07-25Rating: 3 out of 5

The drivers tried to put on a good show, but were very limited on what they could do due to the size of the venue. Only one truck could go at a time, so no heads up racing. The donut competition was a wash, there wasn't room to get the trucks into a good spin, between the parked trucks and the ramp. The venue itself is fantastic, just too small for trucks.

  • Great Event!

by JCastillo on 2023-07-25Rating: 5 out of 5

Monster Jam puts on a great show! Family fun, great crowd engagement and exciting monster trucks. Interviews with the drivers really give insight to their sport and competition.

  • Not great

    by Lise1984 on 2023-07-25Rating: 2 out of 5

Show was short and anticlimactic. The area is way too small to host monster trucks

  • Take it outdoors

by MrBruneau on 2023-07-25Rating: 1 out of 5

If you're 10 or younger the show is great, if you're like me I been to monster jam over a dozen times now and it gets worse with each passing year, my issue is the venue is too small to make this worth while for myself, you can watch more exciting monster truck shows on cable tv, if this can be brought outside the show would be exciting with more room to show what the trucks can really do. Being inside Roger's is very limiting otherwise I do enjoy myself.

  • Good show!

by Tb on 2023-07-25Rating: 5 out of 5

Awesome experience, would really like to see what they can do in a bigger arena setting though. But for what it was def worth the money.

  • Change of location needed

by JamFan on 2023-07-25Rating: 2 out of 5

While the event itself was as good as it could be - the area for this to take place in - is ridiculously small! When the trucks can barely turn around or complete any kind of jump, without the fear of hitting blocked off seating or other trucks - maybe its time to change the location and find somewhere other than Rexall to do this! Give these trucks the room they need so that people can get the show experience that they are hoping, and paying, for. Rexall in Edmonton is NOT the place to do this ...unless that changes, our family isn't interested in going again. This was the 2nd time for us going (went to Rogers Place in Edmonton years ago - same thing - too small. Gave Rexall Place a try last weekend - never again.) Find a better location to do this! You might even get more trucks to attend and maybe fill those seats that were over half empty.

  • Cool but the arena was to small

by KJ on 2023-07-25Rating: 3 out of 5

It was awesome to see the trucks, however, the arena was way too small. The trucks weren’t really able to do much. I did find myself a bit bored throughout.

  • Just ok

    by K-bit on 2023-07-25Rating: 3 out of 5

Rogers Place seemed a bit small for the trucks to be able to do some really cool stunts. The freestyle was disappointing due to the lack of space for the drivers. Friends told me that when it was at Commonwealth, it was much better. I feel that would be a better venue for the Monster Trucks to really rip around. It was cool, but not what I expected.

  • Great for little kids

by Happy kids on 2023-07-25Rating: 3 out of 5

Really enjoyed the event, definitely could have used a larger venue! Drivers probably could have preformed to their level with the freedom of more room for movement. The little kids would not notice but older children definitely could be let down by the limits of their show.

  • Super fun

by Hill on 2023-07-25Rating: 5 out of 5

The show was great, my kids had so much fun! The only thing I would change is venue. You can tell the space was not large enough for the trucks but they did the best with what they had!

  • Monster Jam review

    by Fan 71 on 2023-07-25Rating: 3 out of 5

I found Rogers Place wasn't big enough to support the skill of the drivers. They couldn't perform to the best of their ability. They had to stop so offer to not hit the parked trucks. It was a disappointment for the price I had to pay. I am waiting till next month when they come to the Grand stand in Calgary. So to be clear I hope those drivers all come to Calgary so they have more space to do what they do best.

  • Small venue

by Smac on 2023-07-25Rating: 3 out of 5

The event was fun and my kid had a great time, however the venue was too small for the drivers to really show off their driving. Overhearing people saying that the previous year was at commonwealth and how amazing it was there made it seem like this wasn’t the right choice of venue. The merch lines were very understaffed and took 45 minutes and missed parts of the show just so I could get a toy for my child.

  • Underwhelming

by NA on 2023-07-25Rating: 2 out of 5

Not nearly as exciting as you’d expect. 6 of the 8 drivers were clearly very inexperienced, struggling to do anything other than drive over the mound of dirt in the middle of the arena…. I think that the venue (Rogers place in Edmonton) was too small for them to really do anything that interesting. I wouldn’t pay to go again.

  • Mediocre

by Elle on 2023-07-25Rating: 2 out of 5

While I understand that rogers place is tight quarter, the stunts were very under whelming. The 2022 world tour that was held at commonwealth stadium was far superior. Stick the the larger venue.

  • It was good

by Me on 2023-07-25Rating: 4 out of 5

I thought the show was good but I felt like they weren’t able to do as much as they could have the space was to small for the trucks, so they weren’t able to go all out like if there was a bigger arena but other than that it was a lot of fun.

  • Love Monster Jam... but totally wrong venue!

by Jaimie on 2023-07-25Rating: 3 out of 5

Roger's Place is waaaayyyyy to small to host Monster Jam. Completely different experience than the usual Monster Jam madness. We won't attend if it is held here again. But we LOVE Monster Jam!

  • Too Small for Monster Jam

by Aj on 2023-07-25Rating: 3 out of 5

Seeing the trucks was incredible my son and nephew had a blast! Biggest dissatisfaction was the venue. An indoor arena felt way to small and most of the drivers stunts weren't being pulled off.

  • Pretty good

by Kaden on 2023-07-24Rating: 4 out of 5

The overall event was good but it wasn't anything too crazy because of the small stadium we were in.

  • The best

    by Jordan C on 2023-07-23Rating: 5 out of 5

As a kid I always saw the Monster Jam ads however was always unable to go (money was super tight as a kid) however I recently was able to afford tickets for me and my parents. It was THE BEST TIME. Everything was super hyped, they ran the event experience extremely well and all the drivers were extremely talented. Even being an adult and going to this event I truly had such an amazing time seeing the trucks and the FMX team. I personally also got the Pit Party passes and meeting some of the drivers was also super cool and seeing the trucks up close was a great time. Overall would highly recommend and 100% will buy tickets if they come back to town!

  • Weak compared to last year

by Kim on 2023-07-22Rating: 1 out of 5

WAY TOO small of a venue at Rogers Place in Edmonton. Last year was at Common Wealth Stadium OUTSIDE and the show was 100 times better. Way more tricks, flips and wrecked trucks. There were no wrecked trucks and no flips at all. My son was bored but was not last year.
