  • Great show

by Kk on 2024-04-23FirstOntario Centre - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

They put on a great show ! It was pretty cool. The venue was really small so they were very limited but I'd love to see them again in a bigger arena.

  • Must see!!!!

Our first monster jam show with our 2 year old. Absolutely amazing!!! My husband and I loved it just as much as he did. We want to go every year!!!!

  • Mediocre

by Br on 2024-04-23FirstOntario Centre - HamiltonRating: 2 out of 5

Too small of a venue for the monster trucks to really do anything other than drive over the dirt piles. Was disappointing, if it wasn't for Grave Digger, wouldn't have really even had a show

  • Excelent show

by Juan PBF on 2024-04-22FirstOntario Centre - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

I think it was a good show for the price, I don't know why the venue wasn't full. In the last half hour, I felt that the show was running faster to finish on time. The souveniers was expensive, If they low the price maybe sold out, but is their business. Dont miss those events. Never use the improvised parking lots that pull you for the event, they ask $30. Use the parking located Wilson ST and John St, just $4 for all night.

  • 2 Hour show - 20 min. of Monster Trucks

by Sven and Family on 2024-04-22FirstOntario Centre - HamiltonRating: 2 out of 5

Been to Monster Jam many times in the past with the family and its always a good time. We were somewhat disappointed though with this show in Hamilton and likely won't go back to that Venue. Show was 2 hours, felt like they talked and did "crowd activities"for most of that time. The Monster truck segments were very disappointing and did not live up to past events. One truck even scarped the wall at the end of the arena cause he didn't have the space to properly execute a turn and suddenly he needs a tow? They had dirt bikes too, but only 4 of them jumping into an air cushion and the stunts were not that exciting until the very end when they did some flips. Maybe 15 or 20min of this and they kept stopping to talk to the drivers. Honestly, the whole show felt like it was thrown together and we think they were having mechanical problems with the trucks cause they kept doing activities and interviewing the crowd. We were not there to hear crowd interviews and trivia or the life histories of the drivers. We were there to see trucks and we feel like we got very little of that. Wasting everyone's time getting the crowd to show their phone lights and scolding the crowd for 10min cause some kid's legs were touch a "safety zone". Just seemed like lots of excuses and show delays. Whole thing felt like a crappy infomercial and delays. Three times they had to tow trucks off the field but felt like they were just doing this to burn time as there was nothing wrong with the trucks that we could see. They just stalled out. Soo many delays in the show... not happy and kids wanted to leave half way through. To top it all off, the concession stands were a mess and we just gave up trying to get anything other than popcorn. We will not be back. Ridiculous.

  • Event was fabulous - kids to old to sit on laps weren’t

by Sheri on 2024-04-22FirstOntario Centre - HamiltonRating: 3 out of 5

Event was fabulous but people behind us had two children who were obviously over the age of 2 sitting on their laps and they didn’t pay for seats for the kids. I don’t know why the ages aren’t verified but we got kicked in the back, head and seat the entire show and the parents didn’t give a rip. I paid for a seat to an event, not to get kicked. Please verify children the under age of 2 otherwise parents who are cheap will take advantage and it ruins paying customers show.

  • We had a great time!

    by David T. on 2024-04-22FirstOntario Centre - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

The children and I had a great time watching their favourite Monster Jam trucks / drivers do what they do best. Watching their heros in person over a television was HUGE to them. First row seats definitely made them feel part of the show. Disappointed that we had to throw out the drinks we initially brought with us, it's not like we weren't going to purchase more food and drink, as a single dad I had already paid a lot of money for the tickets, knew we would be buying the food/snacks/drinks and a couple of toys for the kids. The security guard was just doing their job, he was polite and nice about it, just too bad it upset the kids, they felt like they had done something wrong. My kids are young, it was my fault for trying to save a couple of dollars on a night where I had spent around $1000 is my thoughts. We made great memories!

  • Absolutely loved it

  • we be jammin

by Cambor on 2024-04-22FirstOntario Centre - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

Had a great time! Took my 6 year old and 9 year old sons and they loved it! The plastic sno cone truck-themed cups were super over priced at $25 and $30 each but other than that it was a good show.

  • Fun time!

by Deb on 2023-10-04GMC Stadium - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

Too bad the roads were a mess to get there, got there at intermission which was frustrating. Also, couldn't find the code needed to vote on the app until the event was almost over. The mc's should have mentioned it regularly. Nice accessible parking options. Otherwise very fun event!

  • Was good for most part

by Shannon on 2023-08-27Rating: 5 out of 5

Would have been nice to have had a better description of how seating works. And parking also that was an absolute mess.

  • Perfect family event

by Country music lover on 2023-08-26Rating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely amazing show! Our entire family really enjoyed it!! We will definitely come back next year

  • Disappointed

by MelF on 2023-08-25Rating: 1 out of 5

My husband and I have been going for years and we both thought this was the worst show ever. Minimal action. Almost seemed like a blatant set up for Grave Digger to win. Not at all impressed.

  • poor facility planning

by disappointed parent on 2023-08-25Rating: 1 out of 5

very disappointed in stampede park or whoever is responsible for facility planning. we traveled from out of town for this event and despite giving ourselves lots of time to account for traffic, parking, etc. we were still late. traffic going into stampede park was backed up in all directions, moving at a snails pace. we were 30 minutes late for this event by the time we parked! which may not seem like a lot of time, but when the event itself is only 2 hours long... frustrating!!!

  • Amazing

by Richard YYCHot Sauce on 2023-08-25Rating: 5 out of 5

Good old redneck fun! Loud and fast, just the way I like it!

  • Never a dull moment as usual!!! Always a great time .

by Drive on 2023-08-25Rating: 4 out of 5

Show was amazing , although I did not receive my 3D souvenir. Still waiting to be reimbursed

  • Exciting and amazing experience

by Bryan on 2023-08-24Rating: 5 out of 5

It was our first time to see those monster jam trucks upclose and in person. To hear those roaring engines and high flying stunts are something we will never forget. As a child, I used only to see them on TV, but to see and hear them in person is an amazing experience.

  • Overall great experience but lack pit party lacking

by Tracey on 2023-08-24Rating: 4 out of 5

Last year we went to the pit party and had an amazing time. This time we decided to go to the pit party again and and we were so disappointed! First of all, they let people in a good half hour early and secondly they weren’t checking peoples tickets for the pit party! They didn’t even check our ticket and they did last year! it was clearly WAY over packed and busier than it should have been because people without tickets were there. Took 45 minutes to get one picture with a driver and the pit party is not that long! We were very disappointed this year. The show obviously always amazing.
