Monster Jam

The venue was too small for a monster truck show. Would no recommend anyone to attend a monster jam show in a hockey arena.
Me and my granddaughter had a great time at the Monster Jam. This was the first time for her. She liked it so much that she want to go back next year.
This event was way more entertaining at commonwealth stadium last year. Rogers is definitely not suited for the monster trucks to perform at their optimal levels. I would not recommend attended this at Rogers. Besides the noise there was not really any wow factors to this event. A small little hill and zero room to open those trucks up.
I felt the venue’s monster truck area didn’t allow for good monster truck action.
It was a wonderful event. My grandsons - said "it's the best day ever!!
We had a good time watching the monster trucks! The meet and greet was not what I expected. I have seen pictures of kids beside monster trucks, and that is what I thought I was paying for. I was really looking forward to getting pictures of my family beside their favorite trucks! Overall a good experience, but also, it would be nice to get information on what the meet and greet is about and how to prepare. We would have also come earlier, had we known we had to get merchandise beforehand as well. Thankfully they gave out flags that we were able to get the drivers to sign! Seeing the increasing excitement in the kids as we got closer to the show, made it all worth it though!
This was such a cool thing to go see with my family. We all loved it.
The show and drivers were great. Nice to see dirt bikes included. Wish the pit party was larger as the lines to meet the drivers were cut off with 45 minutes to go due to timing. Also, the location needs to be larger to accommodate for more trucks and stunts to be done. In the past there were cars for the trucks to drive over etc however that could not be accommodated at Rogers place which was very disappointing. That could really be improved for future shows.
Loud and FUN! Little man had the, and I quote, “best day EEEVVVVVEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRR mom.” He’s been to monster trucks before but having his two favourite trucks there, one winning, was just a bonus. The scoring thing was pretty neat too! He liked that he could score the trucks too.
The show was alright, but last year, 2022, at commonwealth was a significantly better show. Rogers place is a nice venue, but something like monster trucks is better suited for a large outdoor stadium.
Monster jam was cool but I wish there was more racing and monster trucks doing competitive stuff then just individual tricks. My son got bored half way through.
My family and I love goin to the monster jam events when they come to Edmonton, Ab! We have gone to the last 3 events when they have come here, all of my children love love love all the monster trucks and so do my husband and I We can't wait till they come again hopefully next year we will definitely be attending the next show! They always put on an awesome show every year and we can't wait till the next! We are also aprt of the monster jam fan page, and we purchase the inventory that they sell at all the shows we have the little toy trucks, shirts, race track flags, stuffed animal trucks, grave digger disks can't wait to buy more and add to the collection! Thank you for the awesome show every year Monster Jam. The Merritt.Fam!
High upper seats but the show was amazing. My son loves monster trucks and dirt bikes so it was a plus plus! Great experience for the kids and for myself.
I really enjoyed the Monster Trucks, and so did my family On the technical side, I have to say…the show was limited, because the trucks were parked 20 feet too far into the arena, on one end!! I couldn’t figure it out! The lines were chalked, there were guys on the ground that were guiding them, but HALF OF THE ARENA was cut down, because the lineup wasn’t parked far back enough to allow them to rip donuts or freestyle to their potential. I only say this, because I’m a grain farmer, and we operate HUUUUGE equipment IF they would have parked back far enough on the one end, everybody would have had more room to giver
This is me and my 14 years old son Ryan first time to a live monster jam and it was amazing, and I won’t miss any opportunity to watch it again.
It was my first time at the Monsters Jam event. I enjoyed this so much! Truly an unforgettable experience!
Great show could have been at commonwealth, rogers place was better small
Not really worth seeing honestly. The venue seemed to be too small for this. The trucks race one by one in a circle, do donuts and then freestyle driving. It’s not very exciting. Wouldn’t go again.
Great experience to go to with the kids. But I think more ear plugs could be added in containers around the facility, for easy access for people that didnt bring any. All the shops are being sold out right away for them.
My son, my husband and I went together both this year and last year. This year at Rogers place, last year at commonwealth stadium. I have to say, Commonwealth Stadium was such a better venue for it. Last year, it was outside, so you didn’t notice the smell of the exhaust, it wasn’t as loud for the same reason. There was more room for the trucks to do stunts and tricks. This year, you could tell the trucks were limited due to the lack of space and I could definitely smell the exhaust from the trucks. I hope it moves back to Commonwealth next year. Otherwise, the show was awesome and the drivers were great when meeting the kiddos.
