High upper seats but the show was amazing. My son loves monster trucks and dirt bikes so it was a plus plus! Great experience for the kids and for myself.
I really enjoyed the Monster Trucks, and so did my family On the technical side, I have to say…the show was limited, because the trucks were parked 20 feet too far into the arena, on one end!! I couldn’t figure it out! The lines were chalked, there were guys on the ground that were guiding them, but HALF OF THE ARENA was cut down, because the lineup wasn’t parked far back enough to allow them to rip donuts or freestyle to their potential. I only say this, because I’m a grain farmer, and we operate HUUUUGE equipment IF they would have parked back far enough on the one end, everybody would have had more room to giver
This is me and my 14 years old son Ryan first time to a live monster jam and it was amazing, and I won’t miss any opportunity to watch it again.
It was my first time at the Monsters Jam event. I enjoyed this so much! Truly an unforgettable experience!
Great show could have been at commonwealth, rogers place was better small
Not really worth seeing honestly. The venue seemed to be too small for this. The trucks race one by one in a circle, do donuts and then freestyle driving. It’s not very exciting. Wouldn’t go again.
Great experience to go to with the kids. But I think more ear plugs could be added in containers around the facility, for easy access for people that didnt bring any. All the shops are being sold out right away for them.
My son, my husband and I went together both this year and last year. This year at Rogers place, last year at commonwealth stadium. I have to say, Commonwealth Stadium was such a better venue for it. Last year, it was outside, so you didn’t notice the smell of the exhaust, it wasn’t as loud for the same reason. There was more room for the trucks to do stunts and tricks. This year, you could tell the trucks were limited due to the lack of space and I could definitely smell the exhaust from the trucks. I hope it moves back to Commonwealth next year. Otherwise, the show was awesome and the drivers were great when meeting the kiddos.
Paid a good amount just to stand in lines the whole time and to watch a meh quality experience. We had a kid behind us screaming the whole time in our ear and it just felt like the trucks were holding back a lot because it’s too small of an area. I wouldn’t go again if it’s at the rogers place. And we paid almost $70 for 4 hotdogs and 3 fountain drinks….. like holy crap.
It was cool, we liked :)
Was cool to see monster jam but the track was poor and really limited what the drivers could do. Last years was way better at commonwealth stadium
The show was still awesome, however the arena was too small for the drivers to do many of their tricks that we’ve seen in the past. Loved the indoor event though with the heat outside, just would have been better if it was a larger space.
The show was good. I wish there was more action like racing laps or something. It would be nice if there were personnel to handle the merchandise table. It took WAYYY too long to get anything. Also the concession lines were long. The price for concession was also way too much. It would have been nice if after the event there were vendors outside the facility that sold cotton candy, hotdogs, ice cream, etc.
I hadn't been to Monster Jam since I was 12 in Toronto, at the ACC, I was hoping to relive some nostalgic memories, of which Grave Digger sufficed. I was saddened that the track was small, all it really was was jumping the trucks over the center mound, I was hoping for some cars to be crushed, ATV event, yes you did have the dirt bikes, I was hoping to see to trucks race around the track, there was no smash up derby, the length of the event was okay, and for 32$ a ticket I feel it was okay, but when I went over 20 years ago with my dad at the ACC it had more to it than what was presented at Roger's, it was reverse this time, I brought my dad, the loud engines were great, they really caught some great air, but, it was just a series of the same thing over and over again with the events named different, I was hoping after time trials, that maybe they would have had two trucks on either side of the jump mound, race around the track back to their lines, maybe it had something to do with internal noise and decibels, but maybe next time try to get more PR to fill out an outdoor stadium like commonwealth, it was a great time, Toronto 20 years ago had more to the show than Roger's, Roger's seemed to have a smaller internal track area than the ACC, the AcC had more events in the mix and a smash up derby. ACC had vehicles they crushed and junker cars around the track, this show missed alot. But triggered some nostalgia. I was hoping for more to the show. Grave Digger will never die!
Rogers place didn’t have enough room for the show to be enjoyable. It was much better last year at the Stadium
Definitely to small for a arena. What I googled and what I experienced was vastly different. Was very disappointed. The half time motor cross was better than the main event.
Rogers place is certainly not the right venue for this show. With one little tiny ramp in the middle, there wasn't room for the drivers to do anything. Atleast when I went as a kid with my father at Rexall Place, there was cars for them to crush. Still, my kids had fun, so that's all that matters. I would love to see monster jam at a stadium next time.
Monster Jam was well organised and entertaining. The entire showing was well thought of and displayed good logistics planning. Job well done team.
Rogers place is a nice venue but I do not think it was the best choice to host monster trucks. A bigger outdoor venue would’ve been better so they could actually manoeuvre around without almost crashing into eachother constantly and only going 1 at a time. 4 year old loved it though!
I love love love Monster Jam. I have been going since I was a child. Last year when it was held at commonwealth stadium was WAY better. It have the truck so much room to do so much more. I still had fun at the event this year but a little disappointed in how small the area was as it lean to minimum space for cool tricks. If Monster Jam comes back again next year I hope it’s at commonwealth. I will not be attending if it is at Rogers again.
