This was def one of the best concerts I've been too. The energy and music was so good and I am blown away at their ability to get everyone moving and get emotions pumping.

  • 1st timer

by Trina on 2024-06-18Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

This was the 1st concert in an arena that I have been to. I took my daughter for her bday to see Mother Mother at Rogers Arena. It was amazing. Only downside are the seats are small and nowhere to place a drink. For a larger person, bigger seats would be a plus but other than that we had a blast.

  • 2nd best concert ever!

by Mercutarian on 2024-06-18Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I was blown away by mother mother! My kids are fans but I wasn’t and I was quickly swayed 😜. Amazing sound, lights, and music. The opener acts for me weren’t as engaging but the headliner was worth it

  • Have waited patiently for them to come

by AlthePal on 2024-06-18Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Mother Mother is not the typical concert I go to. I am used to larger and better known rock bands that command a lifetime of materials. I did not know either of the opening bands but enjoyed them anyways, despite them not being of the genre that I usually enjoy. Mother Mother has come a long way from small roots and small venues to playing at Rogers. Their songwriting is excellent and unique, I have always thought that from their first album o my heart which remains my favourite album from them. Their set list was shorter than I expected but that didn't matter to me. They played many of the songs from o my heart but not all the good ones I would have expected them to play. The heart that they put in their show is admirable, Guidemold spoke alot between songs with messages that were heartfelt. Their encore song with Grief Chapter was good, I have not heard this album before the show. All in all, a memorable experience for me and my wife.

  • Incredible concert

    by K. B. on 2023-07-17Rating: 5 out of 5

This was the first real concert I have ever been to and oh my god was it incredible. The whole band had incredible stage presence and where all super kind. During song changes they would talk about how they want everyone to be accepted and to be able to be what they want and it truly made me feel so great. Quick tip for if you go write a sign saying something they usually say something about the signs along with that they threw guitar picks into the crowd so be ready to scream as loud as you can and try to get one. Overall they where truly just an amazing time and I would absolutely love to see them again and highly recommend to go to their concert even if you don’t know many of their songs. I went along with my brother who new very little about the band and he still had a great time. 100/10 experience and would be delighted to go again.

The choice of opener was honestly amazing, I left a big fan of the show. Mother Mother live was such an incredible experience, what a lovely group of people to see live. They perform so well!

  • Mother Mother with Monowhales was incredible!

by DREWSKY73 on 2022-05-25National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best concerts I have ever been too. Monowhales as the opening band were fantastic. Have to admit I hadn't listened much to them before this. I will now though. Great band musically, vocally, and the lead singer made it for me - so much energy! You can tell they love what they are doing. Mother Mother was better than I ever could have imagined. I've been listening to their music since 2015 but have really listened a lot to their last two albums. My daughter is also a big fan and for her 15th birthday we took her to this concert. What an incredible experience. I think Mother Mother should be Canada's band and they deserve all the success their upcoming Europe tour (headlining and also supporting Imagine Dragons!) brings! Live they are even better. Their voices are incredible. As a group they are incredibly tight musicians and put on an astounding show. My only gripe is more my fault than anyone else's. We had VIP tickets. Unfortunately the email giving me the details of VIP meet and greet went right to my spam which I never thought to check. As a result, despite showing up almost 2 hours before the concert started we missed the meet and greet. Live and learn!

  • Awesome band, great venue!

by Amelia on 2022-05-24History - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Mother Mother and the opener Monowhales were both fantastic! It was my third time seeing Mother Mother live and as always they were perfect and it was especially meaningful after years of not attending live shows. It was my first time at History and the venue was great too. Just small enough to still feel intimate. My only criticism is that some of the stage lights were a little intense and with the dry ice there were times when you couldn’t see the band for the lights (mostly during Monowhales set). Overall amazing time!

  • Amazing show as always

My fifth time seeing this amazing band. It was another amazing show. Thank you for all the great music. Love you guys

  • Entertaining except for sound quality

by Roman on 2022-05-23Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

The entire band always brings a lot of ambition and effort to their shows and they did so again this time. The audience reaction clearly indicated they were having a great time by dancing, singing and applauding most songs. The only thing lacking was the sound quality. It both wasn’t loud enough or punchy enough. Voices didn’t soar and guitar solos were flat. Hopefully the sound engineer was responsible for that and not the new sound system of Massey Hall.

  • AHHHHHMAZING!!!

by Cherie on 2022-05-23National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

This is the 4th time seeing Mother Mother and this was HANDS DOWN THEIR BEST show I have seen!! Such talent and poise! They have certainly grown to become who they were meant to be! Kind, Fun, Smart - LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Ps best opening band ever!!

  • Live music is a thing again!!

by Dee on 2022-05-22Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was a great introduction back into the world of live concerts. The mono whales were the opening act, they absolutely did not disappoint! Mother mother as expected put on a phenomenal show, the vibe was incredible and massy hall as a venue can not be beat.

  • Amazing

by Caro on 2022-05-22History - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

While I wasn’t a die hard fan and only fully knew about half the setlist, the band did such an incredible job of creating a fun, welcoming, and interactive atmosphere for everyone. Honestly one of the best concert experiences i’ve ever had.
