Comprised of Ryan Guldemond (vocals, guitar), Molly Guldemond (vocals, keys), Jasmin Parkin (vocals, keys), Ali Siadat (drums) and Mike Young (bass), Mother Mother are best known for their deep connection with their fans, and for bringing stadium-sized energy to their live show, no matter the stage. Singing about themes of alienation and enormous longing for self and societal acceptance, the band's mission is to be a home for souls that feel they don't fit in anywhere else.
Mother Mother were recently catapulted into a new stratosphere of universal success following the release of their critically acclaimed studio album INSIDE. Their explosive follow-up to "Hayloft," "Hayloft II" connected with fans around the world and is now certified Gold in the US and approaching Platinum in their home country of Canada. A string of #1 radio hits in Canada, 6 billion global streams, and multiple Billboard chart appearances cement their newfound global success.
The quintet spent most of the last year touring the world playing to sold-out audiences in theaters to stadiums, with multiple sold-out headline tours in Europe, UK, Canada, Australia and the U.S. as well as past and upcoming festival plays at Reading + Leeds, Lollapalooza in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Berlin, Corona Capital in Mexico, Pukkelpop Belgium, Frequency Festival in Austria, Lowlands in The Netherlands and more.

Originally came just for the Zola’s, but stayed for the rest of the concert and absolutely everyone killed it. :)
I love this band. The concert, even in the rain, was a awesome!
The venue was perfect on a nice evening. The bands were entertaining and the sound was great. There was a smalk lineup to get a wrist band for drinks and after that you could walk right up for a drink without waiting. There was a long wait for food when we arrived but was gone by the time Mother Mother came on. Overall a great experience.
Felt for the poor dumplings who chose to wear heels in the mud but it made the short intervals between sets more than bearable. Overall, 12/10 would do again (have and will). Only quest would be allowing the opening bands an encore. CHEERS OVERALL.
Mother Mother is awesome. Great music and great interaction with the audience. The venue was great too - outdoors yet fairly intimate with the relatively small crowd. Toilet lineup was chaotic but the beer lineup was smooth and quick!
The whole show was aces. What a plethora of talent and individuality! The women of Mother Mother are absolute powerhouses. I will FOR SURE be seeing them again. Worth. Every. Penny.
First off, many thanks for allowing me a chair in the ADA section. Difficult for me to stand for long periods of time with low blood pressure. I do feel sorry for some of the folks who arrived in this location to discover there weren't enough chairs for them to sit. (there were only three or four chairs in a fairly large area) The music was entertaining and the seating location was perfect. I was looking forward to seeing the Zolas and Tokyo Police Club again and seeing Mother, Mother for the first time. They were quite a sight to see and the music was infectious. I finally ran out of steam and departed around 9:30, before their show ended. Even the drizzle of rain did not spoil the energy as most of the audience had rain gear. My only major complaint was the fact I was unable to order any dinner as the lineup for the only food source was so long all evening that I could not stand in line without getting too tired. Didn't get any nourishment till I got home around 10:30. Regardless of that, thanks again for a pleasant evening. I've been attending concerts in Vancouver since 1964 when I was a dee jay at C-FUN and numerous other radio and TV stations until 2011. Cheers, JT
Great outdoor venue in the middle of Stanley park, can't fault the music or the the lighting effects, however, the food and beverage options were poor and under staffed. The line up for food was HUGE pretty much until the end of the show (they ran out of all food except burgers). The options of burger, hot dog, chicken wrap was OK, just, but the line up was HUGE, also if you wanted a drink that wasn't alcoholic you had to join the food line up and did I mention the line up was HUGE. Overall great gig, poor catering - could do better.
Mother Mother was phenomenal and put on an amazing show as usual. The venue was a great size; with the weather we had that evening, it got slippery on the slope and muddy towards the bottom of the slope and in the standing area. Fine if you prepare for the weather. Overall an excellent experience!
We've seen Mother Mother numerous times live and they never disappoint. We last saw them at the Malkin Bowl and there's not many bands I'd stand in the rain to see, but we stayed and enjoyed the show as the rain fell. I can't wait for Mother Mother to blow up to the arena level where they deserve to be!
Mother Mother has not disappointed yet. Such a good performance. Missed the first act but the Zola's and Tokyo Police Club were great too. First concert for me at Malkin bowl and I was very impressed.
Third time I have seen Mother Mother in concert and they just get better every time. They are tight and polished on stage and sound great. Fantastic musicians with tons of energy. Can't wait to see them again.
Such a great show! We have been to 5 Mother Mother shows and each one has been a little different. We will definitely be back for more. Thanks for putting on such a great show!
As a big Mother Mother fan I had great expectations for this show. With this tour being promoted as the 10 year anniversary of 'O My Heart' some vintage MM was expected. An entire (1 hour) show of nothing but that album and some other, lesser known stuff, no. Songs get played on the radio for a reason, and at least a few newer, main stream cuts would have made this concert worth attending. There were none, so draw your own conclusions. Maybe this show was performed for the true, hard core fans, in which case, I guess, my bad?
Mother Mother put on an amazing show. They sound amazing live and always have so much energy. They are so much fun to watch. The venue was not the best. The stage seems to be at ground level so we couldn’t see much over the crowd. And the sound quality wasn’t great.
I've been to several Mother Mother concerts over the years. They are my favorite live band to see. Ryan was talkative as normal, and just loveing the fans! Mike Young had no problem filling in as the new bassist, and his playing literally brought down the house!
I loved the concert. So well done and the music was incredible. If you get the chance, please go and see them. Simply amazing..
Top notch show. Very professional, very enjoyable. They are great!
As ways an amazing show by an unreal band!! Truly talented. Live shows are so incredible. K. Flay the opening act was unreal. She is the next big thing.
