Mt. Joy on TourÂ
A five-piece indie-rock band from Los Angeles, Mt. Joy is known to give an impressive show and fans are highly anticipating their tour, which will span the United States. The 2022 tour will bring the same immersive show that fans know and love. The band is known for their incredible live sound, as well as their mesmerizing use of lights and visual effects. The tour is in support of their third studio album, 2022's Orange Blood.
Mt. Joy Live in ConcertÂ
Mt. Joy is an indie rock band based in Los Angeles by way of Philadelphia. The band features Matt Quinn on vocals and guitar, Sam Cooper on guitar, Sotiris Eliopoulos on drums, Jackie Miclau on keyboards, and Michael Byrnes on bass. The band was formed in 2016, releasing their first single, "Astrovan," recorded in Los Angeles by Quinn, Cooper and Byrnes.Â
The two original band members, Quinn and Cooper, met in highschool in Philadelphia. After parting ways for some time, the two reunited in 2016 in Los Angeles and began working on music right away. The pair recorded their first single, "Astrovan," with the help of future bandmate Byrnes, who they met on Craigslist, and Byrnes' roommate, producer Caleb Nelson. In 2017, Mt. Joy signed with Dualtone Records. Later that year, they released their self-titled debut album. One of the songs from the album, "Silver Lining," peaked at No.1 on the Billboard Triple A charts.
Mt. Joy's third album, Orange Blood, was released in 2022 featuring the singles "Lemon Tree" (which made the Top 10 on AAA radio and was hailed as a "next-level song" by NPR); "Evergreen"' the title track from the album; and "Bathroom Light." The accompanying music video for "Evergreen" also features a cameo from Creed Bratton from "The Office."
"We put so much love into this album," said Quinn in an interview with uDiscover Music. "My dream for this record is that it gives people a chance to be present and connect with something outside of the daily doom scroll." Catch Mt. Joy when they come to a city near you.

Amazing performance, loved the solos and alternate arrangements. Jackie is unbelievable!
Terrible venue for Mt Joy. Saw them at History and they were amazing. Seats have majorly blocked view and bad vibes.
Unbelievable night. Wicked band that sounded even more amazing in person. Nearly died when Max from the Arkells appeared on stage. Crazy, soul filling, life giving concert. Beautiful sound quality at Massey Hall, gorgeous theatre! Looking forward to seeing Mt. Joy again!
Great venue and an amazing artist. Each of the band members play a crucial role in making their great sound
My first time seeing Mt Joy live. Wow - great energy, they fed off a very engaged crowd. They can really play, and I didnât know they were such a jam band live. Loved it. And a bonus at Massey Hall in Toronto - they played The Weight in their encore as a tribute to Robby Robertson.
Mt Joy makes each of their experiences unique and provides fans with the chemistry onstage that is hard to compare to other bands. Loved every second. Max From Arkells also joined!!
The show was great! Their energy is amazing and I could have rewatched the whole show the second that ended cuz of just how great it was.
Amazing performers, and debatably they sound BETTER live. I may be slightly biased as this is easily my favourite band out there, and itâs not even close. I was right at the front and after they played Silver Lining, Sam Cooper signed my hoodie from the stage, which made my year.
Mt. Joy always brings it. They had great energy all the way through and all their songs absolutely rock when played live!
