  • Band was good but sound was not

by Chas on 2025-06-27The KEE to Bala - BalaRating: 3 out of 5

The opening act and the Wallflowers put on a good show, but the sound was disappointing. I t was difficult to hear any of the vocals which seemed to be lost in the mix. This was my first time at the Kee, so I don’t know if the sound there is always a problem. Perhaps acts like Blue Rodeo or Kim Mitchell have experience and can get a better sound out of that hall.

  • Amazing show

by Fanforever on 2025-06-27The KEE to Bala - BalaRating: 5 out of 5

The show and the venue were incredible! I have loved the Wallflowers for a very long time and they did not disappoint The Kee was a great small venue event and I had a table in the VIP balcony-right up front Would defiantly go to the Kee at Bala again and will continue to be an avid fan of the Wallflowers

  • Pretty Good

by Husky on 2025-06-09Midway Music Hall - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

The band was pretty good. Seemed like a lot of newer material that I was less excited about. Still, plenty of old songs and excellent covers. Decent show. Jakob is surprisingly tiny.

  • Wallflowers and Jacob did not dissapoint

Amazing show and thanks to Jacob and his amazing band for an Incredible Evening. Brothers Elsey were also Fantastic. Too bad they had issues getting Merchandise into the Country

  • The Wallflowers at Midway

    by Tin_Man_22 on 2025-06-09Midway Music Hall - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

The Wallflowers were spectacular, played almost all their hits and hung around chatting with fans after the show, really great experience and a bucket list check ✔️

  • Great band, poor venue.

by Chris on 2025-06-03Great Canadian Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5

Such a great band! I have seen the Wallflowers a few times and they always deliver. With their own music and always a thoughtful selection of covers. This time was no different, except for the venue. Acoustics were poor, especially in the back half of the room. The loudspeakers were so blurry, it often took until the chorus before I recognized the song. It got better as we got closer to the stage. As it was General Admission, we were able to move closer to the stage over time. Another observation: The audience was really low energy, and didn't seem to know the music or appreciate the performance. Many of the audience around us did not even applaud. Odd. You could see the frustration on the faces of the performers. Dylan in particular. I felt bad for the band, and was embarrassed by my fellow audience members. Wallflowers, please continue coming to Western Canada, maybe choose some different venues.

  • Poor sound

by Carrie R on 2025-06-03Great Canadian Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 3 out of 5

The venue really needs to upgrade their sound. The instruments completely overwhelm the singer making it difficult to hear the song. I was really looking forward to hearing Wallflowers live and it was a disappointing experience

  • Wallflowers Were Rockous!

by Mindquake on 2015-08-17Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 3 out of 5

The sound system at the Hard Rock in Coquitlam was lousy, distorted often and way to much squealing from feedback. The band was tight and it was enjoyable hearing Jacob Dylan as I have been to many of his famous father's gigs. Wouldn't go back to this venue though.

  • Sounds like Bob

by Crippler on 2015-08-17Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 3 out of 5

Decent show Jacob sounds like his Dad Bob Dylan, but actually has better voice. Sound was not that great on some of faster hard songs, it was difficult to make out the lyrics, sound and vocals were way better on slower tunes. Overall average to good show, good interaction with crowd. Seats were incredible!

  • Great Concert - Time for New Material

by BCMusicFan on 2015-08-17Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 4 out of 5

Jakob Dylan is a great song writer and performer. The days of the Wallflowers seem to have come and passed and he needs to write new material - twenty years old now. The band are all solid musicians. The show needed more energy and connection with the audience. Dylan spent much of his time with his back to them beyond a few brief interactions with a fan from Japan. I wonder what great tunes lie dormant in that brain of his that the world would love to hear and see.
