  • Wallflowers Were Rockous!

by Mindquake on 2015-08-17Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 3 out of 5

The sound system at the Hard Rock in Coquitlam was lousy, distorted often and way to much squealing from feedback. The band was tight and it was enjoyable hearing Jacob Dylan as I have been to many of his famous father's gigs. Wouldn't go back to this venue though.

  • Sounds like Bob

by Crippler on 2015-08-17Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 3 out of 5

Decent show Jacob sounds like his Dad Bob Dylan, but actually has better voice. Sound was not that great on some of faster hard songs, it was difficult to make out the lyrics, sound and vocals were way better on slower tunes. Overall average to good show, good interaction with crowd. Seats were incredible!

  • Great Concert - Time for New Material

by BCMusicFan on 2015-08-17Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 4 out of 5

Jakob Dylan is a great song writer and performer. The days of the Wallflowers seem to have come and passed and he needs to write new material - twenty years old now. The band are all solid musicians. The show needed more energy and connection with the audience. Dylan spent much of his time with his back to them beyond a few brief interactions with a fan from Japan. I wonder what great tunes lie dormant in that brain of his that the world would love to hear and see.

  • The show met some high expectations

by KridRock on 2015-08-17Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 4 out of 5

I had high expectations of this show, and the Wallflowers did not disappoint. Great set of songs covering their entire history, great musicianship, and fabulous leadership. Jakob sounded great, and I love the fact that he does not want to be the spotlight of the show - he is simply a member of a great band, and he writes some incredible music. Well played!!

  • The Wallflowers at Casino Rama

by Jenno on 2013-07-09Casino Rama - RamaRating: 5 out of 5

This was such a good show. They let people that had floor seats stand at the stage for the entire show. The sound was great, Jakob Dylan the lead singer even made a comment about how great the sound there was. They interacted with the audience and played a great variety of music which spanned their long career. Ive seen them before and will again but hope its at this venue. Great place and a super band.

  • Great music

by Argye on 2013-07-09Casino Rama - RamaRating: 4 out of 5

Thoroughly enjoy the show. Jakob was in great form, voice right on. Extremely personable towards his audience. The band was tight. Opened with a cover from the Band and did some beautiful ballads. One headlight was outstanding.

  • Great Show!

What a great performance, it was too bad there were not more people there because they missed a great show. They played the classics and the fans loved it. Would go and see them again anytime!

  • The Wallflowers put on a great show.

by Anonymous on 2012-11-09The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Jacob Dylan and the wallflowers were incredible. They put on a great show and played some great hits. I was pleasantly surprised at their amazing effort still to please the crowd. Everyone was grateful that they played at their top level and I would absolutely see them again if they return to Toronto in the near future.

Jakob Dylan and The Wallflowes were awesome! From the opening to the encore they hand the Toronto crowd going wild! Not a dull moment in the show. Jakob was truly a showman and had The Wallflowers at their live best!! More than worth every penny. Very interactive with the crowd!
