About

My Chemical Romance are a rock band composed of lead vocalist Gerard Way, bassist Mikey Way and guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero. Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, MCR have become highly influential for their blend of rock, pop-punk and emo music along with unflinchingly open lyrics and theatrical live performances. Beginning with 2002’s I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, MCR have released four studio albums, two live recordings and three compilations. The band unveiled their major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004 behind their first charting singles, “I'm Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “The Ghost of You.” In 2006, MCR’s third album The Black Parade reached a career-high No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while lead single “Welcome to the Black Parade” peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100. After touring 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, MCR did not perform together again until 2019, followed by a reunion world tour between 2022 and 2023. The band headlined Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Festival in 2024. In 2025, My Chemical Romance embarked on a tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, The Black Parade.

  • Great concert, nice location but freezing AC

by Julian on 2025-08-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was great! The location is nice, the seats are comfortable and the visibility is good. The sound was good but the acoustics of the stadium are not good, there is considerable echo. The worst thing was the AC, it was so cold that we were freezing.

  • Literally the most nostalgic

They put their absolute all into the show. Hearing the whole black parade album in my 30’s had me sobbing. LONG LIVE THE BLACK PARADE BABY 🖤

  • Insane Show

by RamsayPants on 2025-08-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The amount of detail that went into this show with the storyline and the songs were absolutely insane. It was so good and a definite must for any fans of MCR.

  • 100/10

by SC on 2025-08-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Life changing. Brain chemistry permanently altered. Pricey of course but so is everything, very much worth the money would absolutely spend it again in a heartbeat.

  • Theater and rock and roll

by Ray on 2025-08-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

MCR puts on a show like nobody else. The theater and storytelling throughout the show is bar none. It’s campy and goofy and over the top.… without compromising on giving you dialed-in rock and roll anthems to scream your heart out to. Your teenage heart will thank you for going.

  • UH-MAZING!!

by Samantha on 2025-08-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I’m about to be 40 and I just relived all my teenage years… I cried… like a baby… when I was a young boy, my father took me into the city…. I shouted that at the top of my lungs with 50,000 other people and it was incredible… I can’t believe that was real life.

  • Best concert ever

by Logan on 2025-08-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

10/10 - best show I’ve ever been to. So surreal seeing my favourite band live and being that close to them. Theatrics were on point, music was on point, everything was great!

  • Chicken!

by Daughter using dads account on 2025-08-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

My dad took me and it was absolutely unforgettable! The Pixies were an incredible opener, put on a fantastic opening act. The theatrics and storyline to go along with the black parade set was fantastic and it was great having the crowd participation with the “chicken” and “fish” signs handed out prior to the show. B-stage was fantastic, getting planetary (go!) and kill all your friends in the same show was unforgettable! Greatest concert ever!!

  • A life-changing experience.

by Nacha on 2025-08-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The whole show was absolutely amazing, I’m so grateful I went and it’s a memory I’ll carry with me forever.
