About

My Chemical Romance are a rock band composed of lead vocalist Gerard Way, bassist Mikey Way and guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero. Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, MCR have become highly influential for their blend of rock, pop-punk and emo music along with unflinchingly open lyrics and theatrical live performances. Beginning with 2002’s I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, MCR have released four studio albums, two live recordings and three compilations. The band unveiled their major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004 behind their first charting singles, “I'm Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “The Ghost of You.” In 2006, MCR’s third album The Black Parade reached a career-high No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while lead single “Welcome to the Black Parade” peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100. After touring 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, MCR did not perform together again until 2019, followed by a reunion world tour between 2022 and 2023. The band headlined Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Festival in 2024. In 2025, My Chemical Romance embarked on a tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, The Black Parade.

  • Amazing!!!!

Unbelievable! So many details and so much thought and effort put into this show…the Black Parade portion was a fun, wild, interactive theatrical experience and the songs have never sounded better! THEN there is a whole second set on the B stage which is different every night! It was freakin amazing! Gerard, Mikey, Ray and Frank seemed to be having as much fun as the fans and they gave it their all! These artists are at the top of their game and we are so very grateful to them for this unforgettable experience. If you are a fan, you do not want to miss this concert! Thank you MCR!!!

MCR put on an amazing show! Such great energy and some nostalgia for me. I was so grateful I was able to share this experience with my teenager who is also a huge fan. It was such a great night!

Excellent show put on by the boys. Best concert of my life. Venue acoustics are terrible, however. Could barely understand some of the talking parts of the show.

Despite being in their late 40's, MCR can still bring the energy! They performed TWO high energy sets complete with acting, costumes, and more! It was a dream come true to see them live and I can't wait for the next tour!

Went to the Toronto date of LLTBP tour 08/22/25 and it was an experience I’ll never forget. The showmanship, presentation, creativity all was incredible. They played the entire album then went over to B stage and played some more, it felt like I got 2 concerts in one. Gerard was incredible, they were all incredible and put on a show I don’t think anyone else could top. Long Live the Black Parade🖤

  • amazing!!

  • amazing

by zackxx on 2025-08-14Rating: 5 out of 5

saw mcr 7/11/25, first night of LLTBP tour. the visuals were insane, ray’s guitar was phenomenal, gerard’s voice was perfect. the crowd singing the bridge of famous last words is something i’ll never forget. they were interactive, put on an amazing show and it felt more like a musical than a concert because of the storyline and the characters involved. loved every minute of it and only complaint is the $50 t shirts and i didn’t like the opener band (violent femmes). other than that, best night of my life.
