  • Very good concert, but

by grannycup on 2018-08-28Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

I thoroughly enjoyed the concert, the music and the way they got the crowd going was terrific, but... I have never seen this before, 5 women were chosen from the audience, (probably friends or relatives of the band. But no one else was allowed to stand up there and dance. Two beautiful young native looking girls were even turned away and had to return to their seats. But people continued to try to go to the front and dance. When security was not nice to one person, the singer watched and did not approve of this. When that song was over,he immediately asked all the crowd to come up and dance

The Nazareth show at The Burt was absolutely awesome! I still can not believe that they have a guy who has playing for 50 years! Wreckin So was also amazing! They are an unreal Manitoba band.

  • Nazareth - Sucked

by DiscoDuck on 2018-08-23Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 1 out of 5

Extremely disappointed in the Nazareth Concert that I went to on the weekend. Their sound equipment stopped working, feedback from microphones sounded like they were squealing and they started 20 minutes late. This event is not even worth rating as it was that disappointing. Not impressed.

Awesome concert. The songs brought me make to my teenage years.

  • Underwhelming

by les85 on 2018-08-21Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 1 out of 5

I was underwhelmed with what I was hoping would be a great show. Serious sound issues for the first several songs was annoying and out a damper on a few songs like Razamanz and This flight tonight. Lighting issues surfaced halfway through the show which was also annoying. It was too bad Manny Charlton had to leave due to health issues. While the new lead singer was decent it is hard to replicate the vocals.

  • Nazareth always gives 110% to their fans.

Great to see Nazareth coming across the pond once again to give us their signature rock sounds. Sound quality was better this time around than last year. We enjoyed rocking to all their memorable songs.

  • New Singer Disappoints!!

by kitkat58 on 2018-08-21Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 3 out of 5

Well the Nazareth I knew had the original line up, but not this time. Disappointed in his voice as it doesn't match original material of the band. Original will always be best as far as singers go.. People were walking out during the actual concert ....

  • Awesome

by laughhard on 2018-08-21Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Great entertainment, vocals were right on, the energy was high, audience response was strong. If I could suggest anything; perhaps play a couple more hits, but really, it was nice to hear songs not well known or new as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our night.

I just loved this concert! One of the best I have seen in a long while. I had sore arms and vocal cords after clapping to the music and screaming the songs out. What a great band! Rock on fellas!

  • Nazareth was ok.

Felt that from the time they hit the stage they couldn’t wait to just be done. They were on stage for approximately 1hr and 10min which we found was not long enough.

  • Nazareth was terrible

Sound was so loud and squealing lights quit working. The worst concert I have ever been to.

  • Nazareth Rocks!

by ProculMurum on 2018-08-21Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

Down to one original member - bassist Pete Agnew - but the new vocalist Carl Sentance carries off much of Dan McCafferty's style. Jimmy Murrison is a fantastic guitarist and Pete's son Lee Agnew is solid on drums. Loud 'N' Proud!

  • Scotland's greatest rock band

    by Eman19 on 2018-08-14River Cree Resort & Casino - EnochRating: 5 out of 5

Nazareth's August 10th show at the River Cree Resort was amazing. The veteran Scottish rockers played all the songs that the crowd came to see. Furthermore, they did so with passion and good humor. Front man/lead vocalist Carl Sentence was amazing, as was lead guitarist Jimmy Murrison. They were ably backed by the driving rhythm section of the father and son Agnews. Two solid hours of all the songs that they audience came to hear.
