  • Nazareth keep getting better and better.

Third time in three years and if they keep coming back I'll be there every time. They've never been given their due as one of the greatest rock n' roll bands ever. And they can PLAY. Carl Sentance has done for them what Brian Johnson did for AC/DC, renewed them and kept the spirit of the band alive and true. Plus you get one of the greatest song catalogues in history performed with passion and fire.

  • DISAPPOINTED!!

I was so looking forward to this concert for a very long time and all I came out with was DISAPPOINTMENT!! II know it wasn't the original Nazareth singer but why did he feel he had to sing like he was in extremely heavy metal band!! Then they played songs that were on the flip side of the record!! So many hits and I think they played 5

The band was Great they still got it after all these years. My wife first saw them when she was 13 lol and we saw them together in 1981 and they are still Rockin it, still able to sing all the notes :)

Their music was amazing but half of it I didn't know. My issue. They were very entertaining and great voices.

  • Disappointed

    by Teddy101 on 2018-08-13River Cree Resort & Casino - EnochRating: 2 out of 5

They are getting older and can't sing or play like they used to, so are trying to make it up with volume. I've been to loud concerts, but its always been to the size of the venue. In this case, they blew out the venue. Louder than it should have been to the point that it really took away from their music. Way too much for the size of venue. And all the lead singer did was scream into the mike and not really hit any notes he was supposed to. I think his voice is going and so to cover that up, he simply screams into the mike. People around me thought the same. This is the 2nd time I've seen them, thought they might improve themselves from the last round of criticisms, but they have gotten worse. Bottom line, if they turned down the volume by a couple of notches and the lead singer would actually sing instead of simply scream into the mike, could have been a good concert. Try and hit some notes buddy. Wish they would add "Woke up this morning" to their set list

  • Nazareth not memorable

Nazareth is not the original band so should be advertised as a cover band

by ppelletier on 2018-08-13River Cree Resort & Casino - EnochRating: 5 out of 5

This had to be one of the best concerts this year. Nazareth has always been my favourite band and I finally got to see them live.

  • Nazareth was amazing

by Sampaq on 2017-08-21The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

An amazing night for my wife Helene and I to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary. The pre- show band In my Coma, an Ontario rock band was pretty good The Danforth Music Hal venue was excellent and staff were very courteous helpful for my mobility issue We were given VIP backstage passes to meet all members our favorite band and were interviewed by City-TV news that evening . An amazing non forgettable event to remember our anniversary.

  • I still like Nazareth, BUT

by shredR on 2017-08-14The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I still like Nazareth, however with the departure of Dan McCafferty, it is really not the same. Their new singer is decent, but NO ONE can replace McCafferty. His voice was hugely powerful. The new singer bounced around a lot...I guess he enjoyed the spotlight? Nazareth used to be my favourite band from 1979 through the 80's. Best albums for me: No Mean City, and Hair of the Dog. Jeff Baxter's production mellowed them out too much on Malice in Wonderland.

  • Nazareth

by Gravensteinvasalvation on 2017-08-09Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 1 out of 5

I was looking forward to this concert very much, as well as the other 3 people who went with me. We have attended other concerts at the Grey Eagle before and the sound was very good, but the sound system for this concert was terrible! It was half way through some songs before you could figure out what song it was.

My partner and I attended the Nazareth concert with no expectations..we both liked their music from days gone by and just wanted to hear the music..well to our surprise they were very good, the music was great and the lead singer was amazing...also we enjoyed the venue very much..it was like an intimate setting with the band appearing close to you no matter were you sat..we will for sure return to this venue...

  • night at the burt with Nazareth and Moon Tan

    by maximus7001 on 2017-08-08Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Great show. Always wanted to see them. They still have their old time sound. The opening act "Moon Tan" from Winnipeg was a great choice.

  • Nazareth rocks!

by Nikspapa on 2017-08-07Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

Wow!!! Great show recently in Winnipeg. The addition of Carl Sentence on vocals has really breathed new life into some old classics. What a voice!! And energy to spare. I took my 16 year old son as he has definitely inherited my love of music. Even though he is stuck in a time warp and loves 70s music, he never really was a Nazareth fan... until now! He has seen a lot of concerts for his age and walked out of the Burton Cumming's Theatre stating that was probably the best concert he's seen so far. Hearing that made my day. The show really took me back in time. I was very much looking forward to the concert but wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was.
