Nine Inch Nails are a progressive, Grammy-winning industrial rock band composed of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Formed in Cleveland, Ohio as a solo project for singer, songwriter and producer Trent Reznor in 1988, Nine Inch Nails have released 11 studio albums, six EPs and three remix albums, starting with 1989’s Pretty Hate Machine and breakout debut singles “Down In It” and “Head Like a Hole.” For 1992’s Broken EP, NIN reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 while its standout record “Wish” won the Grammy for Best Metal Performance. In the midst of hitting No. 2 and No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for 1994’s The Downward Spiral and 1999’s The Fragile, respectively, NIN released Hot 100-charting singles “Closer” and “The Perfect Drug” and earned a second Best Metal Performance Grammy at the 1996 ceremony for “Happiness in Slavery.” Nine Inch Nails went on hiatus until the 2005 chart-topper With Teeth, then hit the Hot 100 again with singles “The Hand That Feeds” and “Only,” and later with “Survivalism" from their 2007 follow-up Year Zero. Longtime collaborator and English producer Atticus Ross became an official member of NIN in 2016, established with a trilogy of releases culminating in 2018’s Bad Witch. As composers, the duo have earned two Academy Awards, two Grammys and one Emmy. In 2020, Nine Inch Nails were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. NIN also composed the score for the 2025 film Tron: Ares.

Was ok. NIN sounded great, but was disappointed they did not go on last
Interesting set from NIN. Well performed - would have picked a little less from TDS and balanced it out a bit given this is supposedly the swan song tour. They were great nonetheless. Jane's was disappointing - the band was great, but Perry's voice is gone and he struggled to hit the notes. They were euphoric in 1991. They need to get someone who can sing in 2009.
Wish that NIN could have played a longer set, or at least they should have been the headlining performers. No offence to Janes Addiction for they did an amazing job; was quite impressed actually and I rarely listen to them. Just didn't feel right watching NIN during the day and not ending the show. Overall though an awesome experience seeing one of the best bands in the world on their way out to a well deserved break.
The show was unbelievable! If only there were more parking, so I didn't miss the opening acts...
I would have recommended this show to anyone! Definitely worth the long line up to get in to the show! Sad to say it will be the last time I see NIN as I have seen them or him in Toronto each and every time...and never ceases to amaze me!
This was a great show, the weather was beautiful so the lawn was great. As per usuall it was a great show by both NIN and Janes (2nd and third time seeing them respectively) The only disappointment was the length of the sets but that's to be expected when you have such a star studded bill! A little disappointed they didn't preform anything at all together, I really thing Perry could have kicked ass on I'm Afraid of Americans, David Bowie style!
Nine Inch Nails opened the show with Now I'm Nothing, which of course led into Terrible Lie. I could tell by the energy Trent was giving off that we were in for one hell of a show! The transition into Terrible Lie was so intense, hard music, flashing lights. Perfect. To my delight, the set was mostly older stuff. Highlights include Heresy, The Becoming, I Do Not Want This and Mr. Self Destruct. Oh and when I they started I'm Afraid of Americans, I nearly crapped my pants since I totally forgot about that song! The set was near perfect, Ruiner or Reptile would have been simply insane, but otherwise, the night was impeccable. They closed the show with Hurt, which seems somewhat odd to end the show with a quiet slow song, but for NIN it works. Best NIN show I'd seen in a long time! Jane's Addiction come on afterward, but I left after a few songs and didn't want to wait around to hear the singles. Perry Farrell was quite entertaining though, he moves very... uniquely.
This was my first concert, so I wasn't too sure as what to expect. There was quite a lot of people, being as this was the only Canadian stop for the bands. They started off with Trent Reznor and NIN, and the last song they played was "Hurt". Their song set felt a lot shorter than Jane's Addiction's. I heard afterwards that Trent Reznor wanted Jane's Addiction to be the headliner, and they didn't disappoint. I hadn't heard much of their songs, but their concert set was great. Overall I had a really fun time, but more NIN would have made it an amazing concert.
yes jane's brought nin to the party 18 years ago but lets face it - nin is the bigger of the 2 now and should have headlined - how many people think beeen caught stealin is bigger than head like a hole?
This was a great show! NIN put on an amazing show where they played a set you wouldn't normally hear... it was full of 'B' tracks (like the Reznor/Bowie tune!). If you have a chance to see them on this 'Wave Goodbye' tour you will NOT be disappointed.
I was pretty pumped to see both NIN and Jane's Addiction play on the same bill - both bands being so iconic and musically gifted. They certainly didn't disappoint - you could tell that both bands ENJOY playing (having been to more shows than I can count, I can tell pretty quickly those bands that are in it for the money and not so much the music). I was surprised at how mellow both sets were - at first wondering if NIN were toning it down so as not to steal the thunder from JA, but found JA to be just as melodically driven and toned down - even the crowd was mellow. Granted, it was freezing outside! All in all, a great show!
Best concert I have seen all summer! Incredible setlists from both bands. I sincerely hope they come to town again. I will be there fo sho!
Great show!!!!! Well done ticket master, really liked all the options of Front of the line, the value lawns as well as the presales!!!!
Great Concert from beginning to end. NIN played a great show with many memorable songs. It was good to see Janes back together and rocking it out like old times.
I was mainly there to see NIN. They gave a good performance, but hated the fact that they went first. Not only that, it was still very light out during their set. Jane's Addiction were good.. But got very bored towards the end.
This concert was excellent. I have seen NIN 3 times in last 3 years and this was an exceptional venue and concert. I love NIN and have for all 20 years. I am hoping after some much needed rest for Trent that he will come back and wow us again with his amazing talent. This can't be the end of NIN.
The NINJA Tour was great. I absolutely enjoyed it. NIN rocked it and so did JA. I would love to see them again together in concert.
It was great to have both bands togethere and see such a variety of people in the audiance. NIN had everyone "rockig out" while when JA came on it seemed to mellow out the audiance. It was a once and a life time experience.
NINails were truly amazing as usual. However, with such a lapse in time since Jane's played as a full original unit, they were tight, flawless, and fun to watch! I have been waiting a long time (since I first saw Porno for Pyros), to see Jane's live as they are still one of my favourite bands... they truly did not dissapoint!
Great Show! Highly recommended! Jane's Addiction was amazing. Can't wait till the next show.
