About

Nine Inch Nails are a progressive, Grammy-winning industrial rock band composed of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Formed in Cleveland, Ohio as a solo project for singer, songwriter and producer Trent Reznor in 1988, Nine Inch Nails have released 11 studio albums, six EPs and three remix albums, starting with 1989’s Pretty Hate Machine and breakout debut singles “Down In It” and “Head Like a Hole.” For 1992’s Broken EP, NIN reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 while its standout record “Wish” won the Grammy for Best Metal Performance. In the midst of hitting No. 2 and No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for 1994’s The Downward Spiral and 1999’s The Fragile, respectively, NIN released Hot 100-charting singles “Closer” and “The Perfect Drug” and earned a second Best Metal Performance Grammy at the 1996 ceremony for “Happiness in Slavery.” Nine Inch Nails went on hiatus until the 2005 chart-topper With Teeth, then hit the Hot 100 again with singles “The Hand That Feeds” and “Only,” and later with “Survivalism" from their 2007 follow-up Year Zero. Longtime collaborator and English producer Atticus Ross became an official member of NIN in 2016, established with a trilogy of releases culminating in 2018’s Bad Witch. As composers, the duo have earned two Academy Awards, two Grammys and one Emmy. In 2020, Nine Inch Nails were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. NIN also composed the score for the 2025 film Tron: Ares.

  • NIN = Best. Concert. Ever!

by Damija on 2013-12-10Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I have been to many concerts, but this was by far the best. NIN was so amazing! We had great seats, but the special effects and Trent's hypnotizing voice was enjoyed by all, no matter where you were seated. I would go back to see them in a heartbeat!

  • NIN sounded amazing!!!!

Trent Reznor sounded unbelieveable!!! After all these years to finally see them live was amazing :)

  • AWESOME! ANOTHER AMAZING VISUAL DISPLAY BY NIN

    by STARZFAN1 on 2013-11-29Scotiabank Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

The main reason I go to see this band is their visual show and they didn't dissapont. Sitting at the back of the venue is recommended to get the full effects of the show and the song selection was amazing as well

  • Disappointed

    by lunachick15 on 2013-11-28Scotiabank Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 2 out of 5

This concert was overall very dissapointing. The light show was boring, the set list felt very random and thrown together with no flow and they played way to many songs from their new album which I feel is terrible, especially considering how good their last few albums have been. Unfortunately I will not be attending another NIN concert in the future.

  • Nine Inch Nails = so much awesome

by smrtblonde on 2013-11-28Scotiabank Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Trent rocked so hard! All of the musicians and the two backup singers were really fantastic. I had looked up the setlist beforehand so I wasn't disappointed with the excess of Hesitation Marks songs, but I know some people would rather just hear the classics. Personally I love the new album and think it was meant to be played in a stadium - so epic!

  • Trent is so freakin awesome!!

I was on the floor for this concert. Music was soooo good and the light show was phenomenal!

  • One of the best light shows i've seen in years

by STPROCKS on 2013-11-27Rexall Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Reznor's voice was phenomenal live... almost CD quality. light show was very unique and terrific and overall the sound quality was up there with the best i've seen live. can't wait for them to come back!

  • Nine Inch Nails raises the bar yet again.

Incredible stage show, incredible sound, great band lineup (especially dug the addition of the two backup singers). Nine Inch Nails continues to be the band I'll pay to see every time they come around!

  • NIN was amazing!!

Trent Reznor and the entire band put on a fantastic show!

  • by broga on 2013-11-25Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Beyond amazing. NIN are still amazing after all these years. It was a fantastic set of his music over the years. The sound was amazing and the lighting blew my mind.

  • Great Concert!

    by 6FiRE9 on 2013-11-25Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I saw NIN in Kelowna a few years back, this concert was even better than that one. More good old-school NIN songs, as well as some new stuff. Trent always puts on a good show, this was no exception. Can't wait to see them again!

  • NIN

by thekarmadog on 2013-11-25Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

NIN is a serious rock band. Well executed in every way but the vibe of this show was way different than when I last saw them last in 2009. Start and end of the show were epic but there was a gooey middle section where they played too many (like 9) songs from the new album. It was a bit of a buzz kill Trent

  • Nin ftw

by Mappyskf on 2013-11-25Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

One of the most visually stunning shows I've ever seen. The music and the look were top notch! Some great staple songs and some of the best ones from the new album made it an incredible night

  • Nine Inch Nails was awesome!

by LittleSpringBird on 2013-11-25Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

It has been a long time but they still know how to make it an unforgettable experience! The sound & visuals were really good. I like the floor being general admission. & the crowd was friendly, lots of space to get close to the stage! It would have been nice if they started earlier so there was more time to hear more!

  • amazing

Amazing show, Great sound and performance. I hope to see NIN again.

  • Great show - except the encore

by aandrea on 2013-11-24Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

I love NIN, their entire show was great. The music was great, and the light show was great. The encore, in my opinion was terrible though. I don't think a concert should end with slow music, and thats what the entire encore was. If i had left before the encore, I would've rated the show 5/5.

  • NIN is always amazing

by CheatedCanuckFan on 2013-11-24Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

You never have to worry when you go see Nine Inch Nails live because you know the show will always be unique and will always be spectacular. With all great 90's bands, I kind of wished that Trent would focus more on old classics than new songs, which he did to a fair degree, but I still wanted more. This was my 3rd NIN show and I can't wait for the next one. Also, the back-up singer, whoever she was, was incredible.

  • NIN once again proves they are amazing live

    by munchkin969 on 2013-11-24Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

What an amazing show. NIN are true inavators when it comes to a stage show.
