Nine Inch Nails are a progressive, Grammy-winning industrial rock band composed of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Formed in Cleveland, Ohio as a solo project for singer, songwriter and producer Trent Reznor in 1988, Nine Inch Nails have released 11 studio albums, six EPs and three remix albums, starting with 1989’s Pretty Hate Machine and breakout debut singles “Down In It” and “Head Like a Hole.” For 1992’s Broken EP, NIN reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 while its standout record “Wish” won the Grammy for Best Metal Performance. In the midst of hitting No. 2 and No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for 1994’s The Downward Spiral and 1999’s The Fragile, respectively, NIN released Hot 100-charting singles “Closer” and “The Perfect Drug” and earned a second Best Metal Performance Grammy at the 1996 ceremony for “Happiness in Slavery.” Nine Inch Nails went on hiatus until the 2005 chart-topper With Teeth, then hit the Hot 100 again with singles “The Hand That Feeds” and “Only,” and later with “Survivalism" from their 2007 follow-up Year Zero. Longtime collaborator and English producer Atticus Ross became an official member of NIN in 2016, established with a trilogy of releases culminating in 2018’s Bad Witch. As composers, the duo have earned two Academy Awards, two Grammys and one Emmy. In 2020, Nine Inch Nails were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. NIN also composed the score for the 2025 film Tron: Ares.

great evening streetsweeper social club rocks,NIN one of the greatest acts of rock, should of been headliners...whats up with that??? please come back to T.O.
Like two concerts in one. Either act could have gone first or last. NIN was in fine form and JA sounded as good as they did twenty years ago. Likely one of the best concerts of the year by far to come to Toronto.
the only reason i give 4 stars and not 5 is that it was weird to see NIN in the sunshine, and they had way to much smoke machine going on.
The show did not disappoint at all. Both NIN and Janes were amazing, tight and energetic and played a good mix of old and new
What a wicked event, Perry can rock those outfits likes no ones business! crowd was loud and the show was fantastic!
addiction kicked serious ass. nine inch nails was aggressive and very intense. the boudoir stage setup for Jane's exceptional. All around that show rocked!
NIN Trent Reznor was god like on stage and took comand of the audiance with hie awesomely heavy songs like March of the Pigs and David Bowie's I'm Afraid of Americans.. Jane's Addiction were hipnotic and mesmurizing, the lighting really set the mood for every song..Perry Ferrell's ensemble was to die for..
SSSC was much better than I expected, and has motivted me to seek out more of their music. NIN was amazing - seeing them perform "Metal" and "I'm Afraid Of Americans" was something I'll never forget. JA kicked ass!
I went with a group of 12 people. We were standing in line at a beer tent and got asked for ID. Two peopkle from our group had expired drivers liceneces and were removed from the event because of this. How can they kick you outta a concert if your friggen drivers licence is expired...they coulda just said you get no alcohol...we hadnt even bought any beer yet. This prompted 6 of our group to have to leave with the rest of the people...very dissiapointing and We all will never go to ontario place again!
absolutely fantastic! i had the best time. i've seen NIN in the past, so I knew they were awesome, so I was blown away when I heard Jane's Addiction!
Acoustics were excellent Seen them 3 times-best they have ever played Jane's was okay Seats were great but spent some time on the lawns too Venue was okay
Felt like I was 16 all over again. What a great show! Had a smile on my face the whole time!
I invited a co-worker to join me ... she is NOT the typical demographic for this type of show (mother of three grown children, in her 50's, goes to church EVERY Sunday, doesn't drink or swear...you get the picture). But she LOVES Trent Reznor "he's a genius." So when I asked her if she wanted me to get her a ticket, she jumped at the chance. I was a bit worried about the language, particularly with Street Sweeper, but hey, I don't write the songs, I just like 'em. Anyway, she fit right in and had a BLAST!! And this is the best outcome I could have hoped for. Myself, I'm an avid concert goer and nothing surprises me, but I was a bit worried that my friend would be shocked or bored or offended...no worries....it's a testament to the quality of all three acts that they were able to entertain someone not overly familiar with the music. It was a spectacular show and they did me proud. I was so happy that she was having so much fun and was disappointed that it all ended so soon.
Went to see NIN/JA and it was an ok concert. NIN played for 90mins and didn't play most of their good stuff but watching them was great Jane's Addiction was ok wasn't really there to see them Tom Morellos new band street sweepers simply rocked. Watching them out there made me miss Rage even more
wicked show, can't wait to see them again, didn't know what to expect from JA, was pleasantly surprised : )
On June 2nd, 2009 Nine Inch Nails & Jane's Addiction co-headlined a legendary show. Neither band dissapointed as both performed nearly every song a fan could possibly want to hear.
Even though I was on the lawn, visibility was great and the sound was awesome. It was more then just a concert, people watching was just as fun. Both bands put on a great show.
I thought it was a great show! NIN played songs for the die hards. Janes did a great job! It was nice to see them close, although odd to watch NIN in the day light.
This was the best NIN show i've seen since they played at the KoolHaus a few years back. AMAZING SET LIST & GREAT VENUE! BEST IN TORONTO FOR SUMMER CONCERTS!
Nine Inch Nails and Street Sweeper Social Club Stole the show!! Janes Addiction... not so much. Would have prefered to see nine inch nails play last so it was dark and get the most of their light show, which was overpowered by the sunset for the first few songs
