    Voice of an angel

by S. on 2019-06-29Sony Centre for the Performing Arts (soon to be Meridian Hall) - Toronto

My husband and I loved the performance! It was our first time seeing Norah and she did not disappoint. If she comes back to Toronto, we would love to see her again.

i was very pleased with the overall experience

by lil stevie on 2019-06-29Sony Centre for the Performing Arts (soon to be Meridian Hall) - Toronto

I found that the sound was exceptional, the song list was a bit short there could have been more from the obscure albums she could have preformed. We were very pleased with the overall performance. blessing steve

    Yawner

by c. s. on 2019-06-29Sony Centre for the Performing Arts (soon to be Meridian Hall) - Toronto

Great music, talented artist but the music selection was bad, in the sense that the entire concert was sooo slow. People were snoozing!

    Too flashy

by Karen on 2019-06-29Sony Centre for the Performing Arts (soon to be Meridian Hall) - Toronto

I thoroughly enjoyed Norah Jones performance. She was terrific. I found people holding up their phones to video and the flashes of light from picture taking distracting though. Perhaps during the introductions and credits to sponsors, a request could be made for people to turn their devices off and to be considerate of this.

    Norah Jones sings

by Sprite on 2019-06-29Sony Centre for the Performing Arts (soon to be Meridian Hall) - Toronto

Having the gift of Norah Jones singing to us was an absolute joy. She sang both familiar and new songs. Every vocal and instrumental note was identical to her recordings demonstrating excellence. She performed non stop making it look effortless and incredibly classy. My only wish would have been that she would have talked alittle bit more with the audience to connect; but I guess we paid to hear her sing not talk... and that she did. Thank you, Ms.Jones, for sharing your amazing talent and gift of music with us. Your songs are weaved into my life journey and will forever hold lifetime memories of searching for love, romance, and the blessing of good friends.

Amazing talented musician, what a fantastic performance

by Lizzy on 2019-06-29Sony Centre for the Performing Arts (soon to be Meridian Hall) - Toronto

Found the venue shabby, arrived at 7:00 from out of town. We were hoping to enjoy some appetizers before the show as the Email I received said food. Very disappointed to only be offered potato chips or popcorn . Would have been lovely to have an area that was more inviting to enjoy a drink before the show. We were either standing by elevators, toilets, stairs or people entering the building. Norah Jones was amazing so talented, loved she sang a balance of old and new and was so connected to the audience. One fabulous show

    Boring Performance

by Brian S on 2019-06-29Sony Centre for the Performing Arts (soon to be Meridian Hall) - Toronto

Was disappointed in the show. Although the music quality was great Norah displayed no personality and the show dragged.

    Sleepy boring show.

by L. K. on 2019-06-29Sony Centre for the Performing Arts (soon to be Meridian Hall) - Toronto

Wrong venue for Jones’ jazz club style. We sat waaaay up in the balconies. Would’ve been helpful and more engaging if large screen on sides or behind...display close ups or videos. I regret spending the $190 for the two tickets. Sorry!

    Great Experience

by T. on 2019-06-29Sony Centre for the Performing Arts (soon to be Meridian Hall) - Toronto

The venue provided a great view from all seats which was nice. Norah sounded as good live as she is on her albums. It was nice that parking was nearby and you could easily walk to the venue.

    bits of magic

by mama2km on 2016-11-01Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

I love Norah Jones music. I just learned that I don't need to see her live to really appreciate her. I would prefer to buy tickets for a small venue where I could be up close in the future. Otherwise it would be better to buy her music and enjoy it at home.

    A Privilege

by davpow on 2016-10-21Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Norah Jones was excellent. Strong band. Sound and staging were also excellent. Despite a cold, she was in fine form. A privilege to witness an artist with this much talent in such a great venue. Setlist concentrated on her new disc (leading off with "Don't Be Denied", a terrific Neil Young cover), but also included many songs from her catalogue. Encore, with a lovely acoustic version of Sunrise was a highlight. The opening act was a very poor start. Valerie June was frequently off-key, and most times incomprehensible (and went on far too long).

I thought any type of entertainer in the spotlight would be use to the flash of cameras - not Nora Jones. Enjoyed hearing one of my favorite songs live .
