BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Peaches, aka Merrill Beth Nisker, grew up a class clown in her native Toronto, Canada. She relocated to Berlin, Germany in 2000 and received a recording contract from Kitty-Yo following a one-off performance she did shortly after arriving in the country. The same year she programmed and recorded every instrument on her critically praised debut album The Teaches of Peaches. Her 2006 album Impeach My Bush helped her reach a wider audience thanks to guest contributions from contemporaries like Joan Jett, Josh Homme, and Feist. In 2012 she wrote, directed, and performed in her first feature film, the musical mock-biopic Peaches Does Herself, which received warm reviews during its premier at the Toronto International Film Festival. Peaches continues to deliver provocative and groundbreaking performances, both at her jaw-dropping live shows and on stellar albums like 2015’s RUB.
Peaches and her crew put on one of the most entertaining shows you will ever have the pleasure of watching! She will rock you hard core, the lyrics will cum in your mouth, your body will be vibrating with elation. She is funny and interactive, having her mother at the Toronto show was a bonus! It’s like a 2 hour orgasm!! I will always make time to see her shows when she’s in town!
Talent. Showmanship. Humour. Heart. Most importantly though, she has so many good songs. I highly recommend reserving your seat for class, it’s The Teaches of Peaches!

Peaches is power incarnate. She put herself on the line, I am telling you! Walking on the crowd!? Twice!? Her stage mates were 100% committed to this show as well — their expressions did not break once. This show is a meticulously outrageous, XXX, gender-diverse burlesque meets Broadway theatrics, meets electro-pop-punk-metal. Or, whatever your brain imagines when you listen to Peaches, brought to life 10 times dirtier. Also, meditative and religious. Hope that helps…
What a great show!!!!! Again, Peaches vision and energy has everyone wanting more. I wish I could just follow her tour it’s that good. If she is in your town go see her show. It’s nothing like you have ever experienced. You won’t be let down.
Sound was spotty at the beginning. Difficult to understand when she was speaking but it got ironed out . Smooth entry and bar lines. Acceptable prices. Fantastic service at merch table. Peaches rocks as usual.

Peaches was amazing! The energy was high from beginning to end and her dancers and costume changes really added a fun and provocative element to the show. I can't wait for her to return to Vancouver!
