  • Short disappointing set

by Mere on 2022-08-14Rating: 2 out of 5

Went to Ravinia tonight to watch OAR and was so disappointed in their very short abbreviated set. Spent a lot of money and time to be at this venue for them to only play for an hour and then leave the stage to Dispatch who whole a good band is not the main show I was there to see. I'm wish I had known O.A.R. was opening for Dispatch. I may not have made the hour drive to the show, hours early.

  • O.A.R was OMG

Sound was great. So much crowd energy for a Sunday night

Such an awesome performance. This group is always so positive and energetic.

  • O.A.R. was amazing!

by Hydroid on 2010-08-02The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Right from the start, O.A.R.. had the fans in the palms of their hands. Marc Roberge has a unique way of connecting with everyone in attendance whether they were the 16 year old girl at the front of the stage; or the middle age man that has connected with their music for the last decade. The sound was great, and well mixed. The fans were never drowned out, which added to the memorable evening.

  • Citizen Cope was fantastic

by MGcanada on 2010-08-01Erie Canal Harbor - BuffaloRating: 5 out of 5

First time seeing Citizen Cope live and it was a fantastic show. His soulful voice was even better live than on his recordings. I was really impressed with the range of fans at the show - he appeals to so many with his incredible lyrics. What an incredibly talented artist. Highly recommend this show and makes we want to travel to another city to see him again. Would love to see him headline. OAR also put on a great show. While I went for Cope, the excitement around the OAR performance was awesome. Sax player was outstanding and the full sounds of the 6 man band was great. The only song they didn't play was Black Rock - my favourite!

  • the crowd was the biggest surprise

by djpaullie on 2010-07-28The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I have been listening to this band for a number of years but this was the first concert of theirs that I have been able to attend. What blew me away was the crowd!! They knew every song, they carried the songs a few times, they were there to dance and party, the male/female mix was the best that I have ever witnessed at a small venue (bonus on a hot humid night) and the band was tight - obviously they have played together for a while but they were having fun at the same time.

  • Great show

by admiral321 on 2010-07-28The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

OAR rocked it out at the Phoenix. Played mostly older stuff, only a little off the more recent album, a couple of lesser played songs, and one new one. Sound was great, crowd was awesome.

  • OAR is Amazing

by itskimherself on 2010-07-28The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The Phoenix was an excellent venue for this OAR to play. they exceeded my expectations Live- they sounded just as good live as they do on a CD- absolutely AMAZING. Next time they are in town- go see them you won't be dissapointed!

  • O.A.R., just incredible.

by Thews on 2010-07-28The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Saw O.A.R. last night at the Phoenix in Toronto. I have never seen them live before, and to be honest did not know much of their music (girlfriend is into them), but now I am hooked. I am actually currently on Itunes buying a couple albums. In my opinion O.A.R. is a must have for any true music lover. Come back soon guys. Cheers,

Absolutely amazing. From the opening act to the very end with Crazy game of Poker. These two talented and original groups of artists blew me away with every song.
