Pacific FC History
Pacific FC is a professional Canadian soccer team based in Langford, British Columbia. Founded in 2018 and present in the Canadian Premier League’s inaugural 2019 season, Pacific FC was the seventh team to join the league. Pacific FC won its first CPL title in 2021 and in the same year became only the second CPL team to eliminate an MLS team in the MLS Cup when they defeated Vancouver Whitecaps FC. The club represents its home of Vancouver Island through its branding, which includes a crest of a tree native to the area.

Starlight Stadium is a 6,000-seat venue located in Langford, just outside Victoria, British Columbia. Initially opened in 2009, Starlight Stadium underwent a major expansion in 2019 when Pacific FC began play as part of the Canadian Premier League. Pacific FC’s core group of supporters, known as The Lake Side Buoys, bring a sea of purple to the stands during games, with team mascot Stewie the Starfish present to keep the energy high.

It was easy enough getting in. The tougher part was buying the tickets. The general map on the TM site does not have the letters put on the map to locate where the seats are. Only when I went in and actually started choosing seats could I see where they were.
Good atmosphere as I expected. Will definitely go back.
Ticketing experience was good. Only flaw was that the online seat choices didn’t reflect if there was a gap in the roof. So my family and I sat it the rain when I would have expected the seats were under cover.
Excellent quality soccer. Recently moved from Ontario and had previousy been to many Toronto FC games so I had a benchmark of good soccer.
Was lots of good clean family fun. Looking forward to going again.

Myself, and two 15-year-old boys went to see the Pacific v Valour game. We travelled from the mainland to see the game. We took front-row seats in section 107 right in line with the halfway line. However, when we booked them we did not know they were basically at ground level, and that every 30 seconds (literally) some would walk past us on the way to the bathroom or to get drinks etc, and this totally blocked our view of the game. There were 5 goals in total, but we missed 3 of them as someone was walking across our eyeliner as the goals happened. You have a great stadium, excellent facilities, but row A should be taken away and not sold. It is too low down and people constantly walk across your line of vision. A great game, but the experience was overshadowed by our lack of view of the game.
Everything seems to run quite smoothly at the Starlight Stadium in Langford. It would be great if they could improve their food. It is pretty basic and not the best quality. Other than that, the stadium is always very clean and organized. More washrooms and signage for them would be a benefit as well.

Great atmosphere, good game with Lots of tenacity. Great seats from anywhere in there. ( the bad) There was only one washroom open in the stadium for 4800 people and that was ridiculous.

This event was probably one of the best sporting events I have attended. The stadium was electric with fans from both clubs in attendance. The best part was that everyone was respectful. There was no heckling in the stands, only cheering for the performances of the players. Many fans cheered for both teams which made this event particularly fantastic to attend. The stadium staff were, as always, very helpful, kind, and friendly. Truly a great event!

I have been to 3 games soccer games this season. Victoria FC have a very good team, exciting and hard working group of young athletes. The White Caps game against Victoria FC was first class lots of action and very entertaining.
Really enjoyed the game. Fun atmosphere and nice weather. The only issue is that our seats (row 3) had a slightly unstructured view. It was difficult to see the far corner because there was a rail in the way. There were also fans walking in front of us the whole game which was distracting.
The game was great, except that Calgary won. The boys ran their hearts out and had several good shots on goal. The stadium was nice and clean, seats rather close together for large people but there were bleachers so you could move around. The beer was good, the sausage was pretty horrible but there was a Greek food truck we will try next time. Clean toilets, happy crowd, lots of drumming- look forward to coming again!
Starlight Stadium is a great venue to support your local Pacific FC. There's lots of places to get food and drinks on game nights, that you can take to your seat. All seats have a great view of the field, and the atmosphere is very family-friendly. Team Pacific FC play hard and give their best every time, which shows in the results. Take time to go watch a game and support your local CPL team!
Getting the chance to see live professional soccer in Canada is a real treat--Langfod is a little far away from Victoria, but the stadium is nice, close to a restaurant, serves food itself. Just an all round good time.
I have never bought a season ticket for any sport before I bought my first one ever for Pacific FC in 2019. I definitely made the right choice. This is the only team in Victoria where you can see visiting teams from all of Canada's big cities . . . can't wait to see this league grow over the next few years. The jump in quality from 2019 to 2021 is noticeable, and it's clear that Victoria has the best stadium in the league - what a great place to be on a summer night! Ownership have paid to have some of the biggest names in the league, from Marcus Haber and Marcel de Jong, to Manny Aparicio and Marco Bustos. They're in, so I am too!
Pacific FC is a fun team to watch and the club has done an excellent job making Westhills stadium a proper professional sporting venue. Free parking is a bonus. Ticket prices are reasonable, but it is a pity that Ticketmaster charges unreasonable fees and forces you to download their app to access the tickets.
